Not even close lol. Dude is like. 5”7 135 lbs. should’ve have someone else do this role. Some one more believable lol. Stopped the movie at min 50. So average with nothing special we haven’t seen before. So so average
What you have to keep in mind is, Steven King gave a forum about selling books to Hollywood or the entertainment industry. He told the authors/novelists, if they're approached and the the deal is right for both parties, just take the money and forget your book. It won't be what's scripted. So, when it comes to Hollywood, it's never accurate. Some of the worst movies that were total BULLSHIT from reality and truth. American Sniper, A Beautiful Mind, Lone Survivor. The books and scripts were total lies (to name a few) and those are all 'based on a true story.'
OMG yes, can't wait to see this. Go Dylan! This is the type of movie he was meant to do. He's always been quick, he can hold the screen on his own, he's captivating and sexy and broody and badass. He can play good, bad, inside, outsider, friend or fox. There's a reason audiences become enamored with him. So glad he's finally getting Hollywood recognition! Soon he'll be A-listing it up next to DiCaprio at the Oscar's! 👏
The fact that Dylan who was just a supporting actor on TW is getting these major movie roles just shows the quality of his onscreen presence. He always stole my attention when I watched TW, he was always a better actor than the rest. Awesome to see him do these kinda things.
Oh man, when I started watching this film, the emotions flooded me with vengeance. This was a great film and would watch it again! This guy who becomes an Assassin to avenge the death of his girlfriend and fellow Americans who were killed by terrorists...breathtaking film that will definitely set you on the edge of your seat.
I liked him since the 1st season of teen wolf. He looked pretty idiot though but his acting was brilliant. .. his sense of humor sarcasm n fun element he brought to the show was awesome. Though Tyler Posey had the mainlead but i used to watch it for him N now look at him he looks so freakin hot!
O-Gear Malaysia looks just like him and I adore Paul Walker and there is no other, until I saw Dylan and his mouth and jawline. I thought Walker did a movie before he died and we were just now seeing it. I asked my husband is that Paul Walker and he laughs. Thank you very much. So you see it too
since im already tired of the fast & furious franchise, im up to see if dylan could portray a young brian o conner for a prequel, just sayin but it would be awesome.
Dylan O'Brian is the best actor in Hollywood, now that the only other actor, which oddly enough, looks amazingly just like the, late Paul Walker, and that being said, the future of the Fast and the Furious really need to consider casting Dylan O'Brian as, Brian O' Connor, played by the late Paul Walker's, grown son, who comes back to the racing action pact scenes, that Dylan plays best and this could be the only way to get Paul Walker only, lovers to have someone who is a replica of Paul. The only difference is the dark features that Dylan has that can be altered with blue contact lenses and a little blonde in his hair, but not a necessity since Paul has been dark featured in parts of the movie, but why can't someone else seem to see this as an awesome idea and I have spent my entire life, thinking there will never be another Paul Walker, until I came across former Stiles from Teen Wolf, all grown up and jaw droppingly beautiful in every sense of the word, from the acting that can't be touched by anyone his age and he could be great in the furious sequels, his career is going to be the best thing to hit Hollywood movies in a an all new generation from, mine and Paul Walker's.
@Dalvin - I still miss him as an actor. RIP. Next year I'll have a movie marathon on his birthday. But I am stoked for this new Dylan movie. And Michael Keaton's in it too? I'm so there!
He’s not Stiles any more, he’s stealthy, stiff, controlled. He must have loved playing a roll where he didn’t have to be all clumsy, and just owned being a badass. And that look of I-don’t-give-one-single-fuck in his eye is gollllld. I love it
IT IS AWESOME to see Dylan O'Brien in a different light... To see him as a heartbroken badass killer... That role suits him perfectly and it's very, very hot.
The look in Dylan's eyes, particularly in the scenes when he's being interviewed by Sanaa Lathan's character, really reminded me of Tommy Lee Jones. Dylan has really come into his own as an actor. I can't wait to see him in this movie. I think he is going to be the next Tom Hanks in terms of versatility, longevity and recognition.
I know they wanted to make this more up to date, but geez. Rapp's GF was killed on the Lockerbie plane. Guess when you're doing the series as Dylan ages, you have to update stuff. Sad. Keaton, though, looks to be a good Stan.
Alexander Hauge . huh, I always thought of him as 250, but I just checked and your right... I stand corrected good Sir. I still don't think he looks the part. disappointed with Irene as well.
Dylan O'Brien is one of the greatest yet Underrated actors of all time!!! He was so cool in Teen Wolfs and then I watched Love and Monsters film he is really a Talented kid (I am 16) Stiles playing a serious character is really weird for me since his face always makes me laugh (not making fun of his face, he's pretty) but He nailed it lol. And his meme template is also from this film. Actually they use the shaved one (head & Face) from Teen Wolf & Beard one from this film.
They could both win tbh. Dylan would probably be nominated for Best Actor in Leading Role while Keaton would be nominated for Best Actor in Supporting Role.
the first scene with the beach looked similar from a scene out of the punisher... but this movie look good overall nice he gettin mature role for a change
I'm Arab and the writings at 0:44 was in Arabic and I didn't understand anything Can't you just hire a translator??? Most movies do the same thing too it's annoying.
I love that he's getting the attention he deserves :) I've been watching his things since season one of teen wolf (which I still rewatch) and I'm so excited for this!
It's funny how in series that become overwhelmingly popular, it's actually more beneficial to not have a leading role. Stiles is the perfect example for that. I'm sure nobody really expected dylan to be such a success, but a supporting role ended up giving him much more freedom to showcase his acting skills, reaching a point he had the chance to become a villain. Which would be harder if he was the lead hero from start (unless they make you an evil twin).
He is without a doubt the breakout star of Teen Wolf. I hope Dylan's acting career lasts a good long while with more than a few great films to his name. This film looks awesome and I can't wait to see it.
Very impressive, Dylan. TV actors usually fail in movies because nobody is able to UNSEE them as their tv characters. Dylan is clearly not a one dimensional actor. Love it.
gunzlingerbil - yep. I don't like these movies that glorify killing. But I'll go see it 'cause I want to see Dylan's work! I wish he wouldn't have accepted this gig though.
knew this kid would be a great actor since the first season of teen wolf, and what a great performance he did in the maze runner
Colby B. yess
the words great performance and maze runner do not belong in the same sentence.
But have you seen his UA-cam work though?
+Ing.27 HAHAHA
He peaked in season 3 of teen wolf. They really tested him there.
So good to see that Dylan O'Brien has recovered fully from the Maze Runner onset accident. It was scary there for a while.
Huh, what happened to him?
there was a stunt on a train and something went wrong which caused him to fall off and he injured the socket area of his eye quite badly
YESS MAZE RUNNER 3 BACK IN filming
gurl its not maze runner three, read the books and you'd know.
Rehan Mughal no? He was on a stunt car with a harness and there was a mishap so he fell off the car and it ran him over. He injured his back
I love Dylan in every movie, because his face is enough to make a big smile on my face XD
Dylan O'Brien made Teen Wolf much more than Tyler Posey.
Eli Baker tyler posey is the teen wolf so without him there would be no show.
Eli Baker They're both important, but Dylan was definitely a show stealer :D
He looks a little bit like Paul Walker 😳
@@sol-ti4ey
Tyler Posey was a horrible actor specially in season one and two
When stiles feels like stepping up his game because his friends are all supernatural

That actually looked pretty good they could use that as John Wicks origins story
John Paul Nah, Mitch Rapp is a original...
No, thank you. This is Mitch Rapp
John Paul this kid could play red hood in dceu
oh, so this is mitch rapp's origins?
+John Remington I love Dylan but he's not made for that role.
Jason Bourne: The Teenage Years
Rapp is sane...Bourne...a tad crazy.
MacKay Dickerson Jason Bourne, it's Jesus Christ!
Not sure I would classify Mitch Rapp as completely sane...especially after bad things happen.
Jason Bourne: Puberty's Rising
Nah, Jason Bourne is too good... And not even Dylan O'Brien can stand level with a legend like Matt Damon
Batman training his Son, Damian.
Indeed

Agree. That's what I thought when I first saw Dylan. I thought maybe he's his younger brother or something.
I can see what you mean
This movie looks totally insane. One of the best trailer I have ever seen and also, missed Dylan's voice.. Can't wait for it to release. EXCITEDD!
The first time I saw dylan obrien was on maze runner, since then can't stop hunting for more of him in similar movies.
Hell yes! Mitch Rapp!! I've read all of the books and for those not familiar with the series. let me just say Mitch Rapp is an American bad ass!
He became my favorite actor with his void Stiles performance, I'm still amazed
I'm so used to Dylan having a sweet sarcastic look on him that I was surprised when he looked dark and rebellious
Best trailer I've seen in a while
And it was published on my birthday :D
This was a very good movie. We really really enjoyed it!!!!
where's scott??
Jonaxz Javier it isn't teen wolf😂

Dylan O'Brien *****
I don't think Dylan O. looks like Paul Walker. I think he looks like River Phoenix and should star in a biopic about him.
What are the odds that I see your comment now and its river phoenix's birthday???

Yeah, I really hated how they changed they way she died.
Rosalyn Russell Rapp should be a bigger guy.

They could both win tbh. Dylan would probably be nominated for Best Actor in Leading Role while Keaton would be nominated for Best Actor in Supporting Role.
No.
They don't give Oscar's from these types of roles.
This movie seems like one i've already seen a million times but I will watch it because of Dylan O'brien's acting skills

agreed. I was looking for him too

Darkness Spawn cool good to
everyone here is hyped over Dylan and I'm over here fangirling over Taylor Kitsch
He's amazing jesus christ
