Microbead maintenance hair extensions

Are you using the copper tubes? I bought itips and they don’t seem to fit into any micro bead or tube. Should I be cutting the tip?

I use the copper tubes but I trim the tip of the itip sometimes if needed. The tip should not stick out above the bead
