This is an outstanding story by author AnAverageDevin and narrated by Mr. Creeps. Most of these shorts, while still entertaining, deal with victims. This guy isn’t a victim. Nor is he a vigilante, or “chosen one.” He’s a regular guy, plucked from a dead end life and hardened into a Hunter. The way he understates what he does, combined with the voice of the narrator really projects an everyday dude vibe. But, he’s not run of the mill as he deals with the stuff of nightmares. And, he’s really good at it-although he does have occasional reservations about his job. Through it all, in the face of pitch black horror, he remains relatable. I hope there’s more to come with this character and the world he lives in. You guys really have something here that could definitely catch on. Look forward to the next installment. In the meantime, I’ll be re-listening to this over and over. Top marks!
