When the concept art first came out and it turned out to be a disposable gun I thought it was too good of a design for a seemingly joke weapon in-game, so its nice to see it has some serious purpose outside of that with the new update!
Maybe metel is one handed version of revolving cannon used in fighter aircraft, like the infamous mauser 20mm belt fed with revolver chamber this type of revolving cannon give fighter aircraft high amount rate of fire and great firepower
Problem Solver, Tsumetogi, and the Gold-Plated Bat are base game weapons. The reason why they showed up on Dogtown is cause one of the vendors in the back market sells Iconics you missed in the base game. Problem Solver can be found during the mission to save Saul from Scavs during Panam's/The Aldacaldos Questline. A random Scav outside of the main building will drop it so just make sure you kill everyone and loot all their bodies before heading into the main building Tsumetogi is given as a reward for siding with the Tyger Claws at the end of the mission to liberate The Clouds from their leadership(it's towards the end of Judy's Questline, you can still continue Judy's Questline if you don't take the money Maiko offers you). Make sure to loot it from the dead body or else you'll end up getting locked out of the room it's in permanently. The Gold-Plated Bat can be looted from Denny's cement filled pool at the end of Second Conflict regardless of who you side with. Just don't leave and then come back for it, IIRC after some time passes in-game the pool will be cleaned of cement and the bat will disappear with it.
you forgot the Apparition which was only available to Corpo Vs and only if they kill Frank in the lifepath specific mission "War Pigs." Also you can get the Tsumetogi if you side with Judy as well, just grab it off the table once you kill the tyger claw bosses

i just love erebus, it gives me huge HAL 9000 vibes, that uncaring voice filled with superiority but also disguard is very refreshing, he's the MUCH cooler skippy, he's business orientated and has no time nor need to joke and chat, and it's design. it's simply beautiful

Apparition is available in the Corpo background from an old friend, problem solver is found when saving one of your new acquaintances with Panam, Tsumetogi is found on a Tiger Claws boss if you choose to defeat them, and the gold baseball bat was always found at Denny's house.
17:43 yeah the gun is cool and all, but the animation of the charging handle implies that while aiming down sights it's going straight into your face or at the very least way too close to your face
I never thought a weapon could eclipse the Malorian Arms 3516 in me eyes, but the Militech Ticon is now my favourite weapon in the whole game. It lolks and sounds amazing, plus with the Tech weapon and Pistol perks, it absolutely obliterates enemies even on Very Hard difficulty.

What the actual hell? I was expecting 5, maybe 10 new guns in the best case scenario, then I look at the runtime... They really went all out, even if many are variants or iconics.
The only thing I don't like about the Metel is that they don't have your character somehow reload by swapping the cylinder at the front. It'd be so dumb but it'd be so cool.

I love the HA-4 GRIT. It's base is the 100 Eddie vending machine guns, the Slaught-o-matic. Really shows how hard things were for Hansen's men at the start. That's all they could get, so then they picked up the plastic gun that tells you to throw it away and modded it out. So dope.
Whoever was in charge of the Metel's sound design deserved the fattest fucking raise. One of the most orgasmic gun sounds I've ever heard in a game and honestly makes the Malorian sound like a Nerf gun in comparison.

When it comes to the Silent Killer Loadout in my playthroughs, Her Majesty and the Apogee Sandevistan are the OP duo. I've easily cleared whole areas of enemies on just one Sandy pop, the Focus and Deadeye perks making the headshot damage easily reach quad digits. Except for Skull enemies that need to be snuck up on to kill in one hit. The Apogee also boosts headshot damage as well as replenish Stamina per kill, ensuring you stay in Deadeye mode when Focus mode ends. The only gripe with Her Majesty is that it's lack of bullet spread and guaranteed Crits while using Optical Camo is hipfire only since you still have no reticle and sights in Camo unless you use the perk that lets you see damage potential and boosts damage 25% with silenced and throwing weapons. Still, Alex's pistol and David's Sandevistan are a duo to be feared.
Still think this game got the best variety of highly detailed arsenal in an open world FPS. The different styles of reloads and unique weapon equip animations alone makes it amazing.... Meanwhile Starfield despite also have a decent unique arsenal of its own doesn't even bother to have half mag reload animations and i know it sounds like a nitpick but come on,You'd think it a super high budget game like that could have put some effort into their animations ?
Reloading and reloading time has a tangible impact on game balance and depending on a studios philosophy on that subject is a key part on deciding whether to include seperate animations for partial or full reload or not. Honestly it rarely has to do with budget or effort.

The difference in reload time is minimal and if hyper competitive games like R6S and APEX can have it I don't see why can't Starfield have it. Again diffrent devs has diffrent approached to that balance and clearly Bethesda saw no value including tactical reloads in there approach. There is also a base variant of the Hypercritical called the ''Kolac'' but I think that weapon was in 1.6 as well but was never made available and only existed in the game files
It’s a shame a good chunk of these weapons is just “orange skin with unique fire damage”, “Can be modded”, “Prime Rewards”, or straight up just looks like a base game iconic… I was real excited for Ol’ Reliable till I realized it looks just like Amnesty from the Nomad ending. What I’d give for an iconic Overture with the black military skin though… I can’t find a Tier 5++ one and none of the iconic ones look good to me. Her Majesty is downright beautiful though… Man this gun looks so good. Definitely bum rushing the story to get this pistol as early as I can from now on. That one SMG that has the Blackwall AI in it is also really cool. (Hated the spider drone segment though.) I loved the matching tanto to satori, I was so happy when finding it for the first time.

Her Majesty is by far my favourite. Incredibly powerful, crazy headshot damage, silenced and I really love that it's a unity pistol
It helps that its modifications give it the general sillhouette of the real-life HK23 spec ops pistol, laser module and all. That thing's a classic.
Not to mention the color scheme is preem af.

A real missed opportunity with the Murphy's Law weapon name. Should've given it to a Power Pistol dressed-up as Robocop's Auto-9.
When it comes to the Silent Killer Loadout in my playthroughs, Her Majesty and the Apogee Sandevistan are the OP duo. I've easily cleared whole areas of enemies on just one Sandy pop, the Focus and Deadeye perks making the headshot damage easily reach quad digits. Except for Skull enemies that need to be snuck up on to kill in one hit. The Apogee also boosts headshot damage as well as replenish Stamina per kill, ensuring you stay in Deadeye mode when Focus mode ends. The only gripe with Her Majesty is that it's lack of bullet spread and guaranteed Crits while using Optical Camo is hipfire only since you still have no reticle and sights in Camo unless you use the perk that lets you see damage potential and boosts damage 25% with silenced and throwing weapons. Still, Alex's pistol and David's Sandevistan are a duo to be feared.
Still think this game got the best variety of highly detailed arsenal in an open world FPS.
The different styles of reloads and unique weapon equip animations alone makes it amazing....
Meanwhile Starfield despite also have a decent unique arsenal of its own doesn't even bother to have half mag reload animations and i know it sounds like a nitpick but come on,You'd think it a super high budget game like that could have put some effort into their animations ?
Reloading and reloading time has a tangible impact on game balance and depending on a studios philosophy on that subject is a key part on deciding whether to include seperate animations for partial or full reload or not.
Honestly it rarely has to do with budget or effort.

@@Awoken_RemmuzIt's a single player RPG, having a tactical reload animation isn't going to break the balance. The difference in reload time is minimal and if hyper competitive games like R6S and APEX can have it I don't see why can't Starfield have it.
It's got nothing to do with balance, they just didn't bother.
@@TastyMackerel while not as important as in multilayer games balance still important in a single player game. Again diffrent devs has diffrent approached to that balance and clearly Bethesda saw no value including tactical reloads in there approach.
All game studios are and should be free to decide what priorities they value durring game development.

There is also a base variant of the Hypercritical called the ''Kolac'' but I think that weapon was in 1.6 as well but was never made available and only existed in the game files

looking at this vid really made me realise that i miss the casings ejecting on half of the weapons shown.
It’s a shame a good chunk of these weapons is just “orange skin with unique fire damage”, “Can be modded”, “Prime Rewards”, or straight up just looks like a base game iconic… I was real excited for Ol’ Reliable till I realized it looks just like Amnesty from the Nomad ending. What I’d give for an iconic Overture with the black military skin though… I can’t find a Tier 5++ one and none of the iconic ones look good to me.
Her Majesty is downright beautiful though… Man this gun looks so good. Definitely bum rushing the story to get this pistol as early as I can from now on. That one SMG that has the Blackwall AI in it is also really cool. (Hated the spider drone segment though.) I loved the matching tanto to satori, I was so happy when finding it for the first time.
