I've been a proud owner of all Globus' CD's for a year now and I'm again and again amazed by the quality of every aspect of their music, whether it be the incredibly wide and colorful sound palette or the smart lyrics that pretty much rival those of my other favorite band, the Finnish Poets of the Fall.
So yeah, BFTW does sound different from Epicon but for me in the best possible way. Congratulations and huge props to Yoav, the entire crew at Immediate/Globus and every guest artist involved.

That's a fair observation. Epicon came out before Trailerhead, and now Immediate will release those epic instrumentals. But Globus will still write epic songs over those instrumentals, including a few Quantum tracks! Only difference is Globus probably won't put out instrumental only versions.

I love Globus! Never heard anything like it - it has everything I love! But I really wish that Dann Pursey was featured more on Break From This World, his voice is gorgeous and I missed it on this album. Also who would have thought that I found out about Globus a couple days ago through an Assassin's Creed video somebody posted using the song Europa, days later I'm promoting Globus to everyone I know! : D I'm picky about my music, and Globus just became the only band to ever b called my favorite

I like a mix of both, so i enjoy listening to globus & immediate stuff, i just wish globus had more. you and dan work really well together and im really looking forward to more :) Ive never tried putting lyrics to immediate stuff but i have to hans zimmers time & oddly a peice from transformers, would be awsome to hear dan do them lol, i might wing some lyrics over a track one day see what i end up with (if you get a chance check out my time from inception & the worlds runnin outa time)

Yhea, what will globus be without this great stars? (ok, just Immediate Music, but ok, it's both Epic). And b.t.w will there be another lyric competition ? I really don't know that there was one (that will be the reason why there were just a few people responding on it ;)).
But a question, is there planned any European tour this year or next year? Would be epic if Globus can be in Amsterdam or an other big city in Holland. I must hear it live at least one time in my life.

I've never connected to anything like I have Break from This World, as much as I love Epicon. I hope the 11 years since release have allowed you to fall in love with it, too!

I think the song Elegy is amazing. up to the end when they sing God has failed you. I'd really like to hear an interview where they explain that part of the song. I was loving it until I hear those word's. as someone who has a strong faith in God, that just ruined the song for me. so that's why I want to hear that part of it explained.

I will admit that, at first listen, the album failed to meet my expectations. I'd spent quite a bit of time listening to the sampler, only to feel that the songs didn't live up to those segments or the "Epicon"-caliber sound and feel that sucked me into this. However, in the intervening months, I have learned got judge the album on its own merits and now thoroughly enjoy it, to the point where I've memorized "In Memoriam" as well as its English translation, among some other songs.

I think it's good that you try to leave any instrumentals to Immediate. I think it's better if Globus will be more like a "band" than a trailer music label. Though, I do agree with TheWraith517 that you should, let's say, make more songs in the style of Epicon (more Latin and Angelic choirs, more of a trailer music feeling). Some songs on BFTW (Amazing Grace and Terminal for example) are not really epic enough IMO. They're good compositions themselves, but too unfamiliar to your original sound.

Im still not lovin it as much as globus, also ive just watched a promo on youtube for "Immediate Music QUANTUM" and i have a horrible feeling all future globus releases will be tame'd down so it doesn't take the epic size away from the Immediate Music section of their company :'(
Globus and Immediate Music have ruined classical music for me. I used to listen to the likes of Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Back.... After getting into these guys, that other music sounds like crap! I'm not complaining though =)
No one else is as exciting to me as Immediate Music. Two Steps from Hell and Audiomachine are alright, but not as spiritual, meaningful, and powerful as Yaov Goren and gang have put out there.

It's…different. I don't like it as much as I like Epicon, nor in the same way. If I had to sum it up, I'd say the difference is probably that Epicon grabs you by the balls, and Break from the World grabs you by the heartstrings.
