Awesome video as always. My mews will be inspected on the 20th and I'll be trapping my first bird next month! Needless to say, I have watched and re-watched all your training videos. Keep them coming!
thank you so much, i qm actually learning to your tips, thank you and more power to you.. you're a big help for everyone.. we appreciate you... 🙏🏽God bless 😊
Hej Ben, will there come a part three? By the way i like it when you call us mammals, because we as people sometimes forget that we just are a species of animals
I was just watching really interested in getting to a point I can catch a red tail but my question is what about osprey ? Are they trainable? They are one of my favorite hunters to watch the way they hover then bomb in it’s amazing
Kenen McKlenden has pioneered the training of ospreys for falconry and has written a book on it. Here is a video I did discussing it ua-cam.com/video/NsPdB1N2GzQ/v-deo.htmlsi=sukZDwpegHgHQFUD
I would study up and take the test on your own, you can find study guides on your state wildlife page for falconry. Then look for your state’s falconer association and attend meets and look for people who fly what you’re interested in.

I want that kestrel at the very beginning of the intro!!! What a little sweetie.

A way to make this a little easer is to use a saw house and have her walk from one side to the other for food before having her jump to the fist.
