What’s respectably about these guys. They’re not in the US to be thrown into jail for nothing. These guys are beating up, robbing and drug dealing.
They are doing those things, however they are clearly trying to move away from that and go legit. They were born into the culture, it is probably a lot harder than you think to break that cycle and go legit when you are brought up surrounded by adults doing the crimes you mentioned. But here they are doing big things in music and bringing a whole neighbourhood with them. I would be willing to bet that the regularity of the crimes in that area has dropped dramatically since proving that they as a neighbourhood or collective can do something productive that isn’t crime related. I obviously don’t think the crimes they commit are respectable that would be simply moronic, however you can see there is an active effort to move away from that, and I think that in itself is very very respectable.
