If you ever find yourself without a remote shutter just use the camera connect app. It works just as well.

Thanks! Have an R5 and I couldn’t figure out how to get a long exposure. No one else mentioned the bulb menu!

Brilliant video I’ve just ordered a Lee 15 stop filter for some daytime long exposures and this video hits all the details I needed to know to get the settings set up and to the time that I need for that exposure cheers 🍻

Very helpful, thanks! Astrophotography, needed a120s and I was wondering why both my tracker intervalometer and my hand held IVM would max at 30 🤣

If I want to use bulb mode and rather then hold the shutter button until I'm done, can I pair the BR-E1 remote and press button once to start exposure then press the button again to end the exposure? Thanks for your help. Just found your channel and I did subscribe

Very clear explanation. I recently acquired the canon R6. What about the spilling of light through the viewfinder?

Great vid! Just wondering, if you use internal timer and not attached bulb button, should you set shoot button on 2 or 10 second delay so you can press shoot and not have camera shake? Or can you use iphone to take shot off canera if you dont have the wire plug in? Thanks!

Yes please I have a question why their compensation exposure information at the bottom disappear during the bulb mode is anyway that they can get it back or is it how it will work?

Just in case you are shooting with your camera and suddenly this bulb setting appears in your screen . . .check your mode dial button . . . you may have changed it by accident.

Can you use shutter via phone for bulb mode instead of having dedicated remote shutter ?

I'm going to do a long exposure tonight on the rocket launch. the aperture (F Stop), should it be say F4 the or F11 or higher? I've tried to find someone talking about it, but was not clear.. I am going to use the Canon R 5 - RF10-20mm F4 to capture the rocket in Bulb mode going across the sky.. thanks..

Hey Spyros, can you help? Im following your amazing direction, but when i go to view the photos on the viewfinder/screen, its just white. Any ideas? I have no idea what im doing wrong?

That just means theres alot of ambient light captured for the settings you had. I get that a lot when shooting stars in the city. Lightroom and photoshop both have some good tools for toning this down. Believe me, your image is there.
