My wife has been obsessed with animals since forever. She grew up watching the Lion King and has always been fascinated by wildlife and has dreamt of trips and adventures that allow her to see as many animals as possible.
Recently we went on our very first safari, hoping to make some of these dreams come true but also trying to not overhype the experience in our heads. We really did know what to expect!
We planned a four day trip, from Mombasa to Tsavo West and East and finally to Amboseli National Park. We saw numerous animals, lions, giraffes, monkeys, gazelles, hippos, cheetahs, elephants and countless others. We also got very lucky with the visibility and managed to get the view of Kilimanjaro.
It was a once in a lifetime adventure, worth some of the discomfort and spending 4 days in a car!
We are very grateful to amazing guides, great drivers, park keepers and everyone else who is involved in protection and wildlife conservation. Thanks to this we can experience nature in its full beauty and experience such unique moments.
