I've been dreading this boss, after having a lot of trouble in LFR with it, now, I feel a lot better about my chances tonight. Will let you know how we go! Thank you! Your vids are the only ones I like watching, because I don't find myself zoning out, like I tend to with the tankspot ones. The humour keeps my attention.

We killed those yesterday and it was fun! (even when I was ranged dps)... what also helped us was when all rangeds concentrated on one add. They fall really quickly and we had more time to damage bosses, thanks for your guide! I´m learning all raids from you videos! :))

Very nice video.Once usual, very much appreciated. The only thing I've noticed in videos of tanks doing the Will of the Emperor is that many of them use an addon that tells them where the next swing from devastating combo will land, but I haven't been able to find one. Any have been able to find such an addon?
Great vid guys! Just one thing, the emperor's strenghts does not melee swing, they only do their energizing smash.

It's a part of Recount that tracks current raid DPS, you'll find it in the settings for Recount.
You should check out the 25 man normal guides on fatboss. LFR has differences that make it easier: Example... Guardians = tank all 3 together, win. Feng = tank use barrier each epicenter and velocity, win. Garajal = click on spirit totem to go to spirit realm and kills adds, etc. The rest are pretty much the same but with much lower damage.

For tanking the Emporer's Strength, would it be viable to use the Growl move that a rogue gets from Symbiosis, to inrease their survivability as they ghetto tank the strength for us to use (since our guild lacks a plate melee) or the Dark Apotheosis (Idk if i spelled that right) ability that Demo locks can talent into so that the demo lock can ghetto tank the Emporer's Strength? Or, at least for a short period of time.

This fight is cray for affliction locks, Soulburn + Soul Swap & then regaining all soul shards from dying adds. Really fun fight imo.

Which Talents would you recommend to use as a Resto Shaman for Elegon and Will of the Emperor ?

Right click on your name and click "show realtime graph". That will show you the red graph. For tanks, go to damage taken and then click show realtime graph on your name, this will give you a dmg taken per second graph, Then you can switch the list to dmg done after that. That way you have a dmg taken graph and still be able to monitor your damage done.
As a resto shaman thats killed elegon, I would stronly recomend the improved elemental, on elegon you can use it early to just dps, then in the third phase, it will be off cd again for the healing % buff
The adds that have the shield in front, does that only apply to melee dps, or will casters have a dps loss from the front too?
Fatboss, would you advise me as a ret pala to use righteous fury when i pick up a strength and then take it of when i go back on the boss
Because the boss has a passive that makes it so anybody who strikes him with melee is "magnetised" to the boss, doing said grip whenever you get above a certain distance away. thats why the mentioned using a dps tank to get the adds.
I love this fight as a ranged dps it's all about coordinating the CC
I'm playing rogue at this boss and find it hard to avoid the "Devastaing combo". I saw on the video that u guys were using an Add-On to see the direction of the boss swing. (5:54) What's the name of the addon?

cool part about this fight if you're a hunter u can put serpent sting toss both explosive and snake trap and then murder of crows on the boss pretty fast and still take care of the adds i do that all the time
Would Mistweavers also gain access to the Oppitunistic Strike? And would that scale with Eminance?
I'm guessing 'yes' and 'no'. So yes to doing the damage, but no to getting the huge amount of healing from casting it.
As a tank im finding it difficult to avoid the whole combo, is their a certain "area" in his hit box that works the best?

paladin hands of freedom, remove the slow stacks that the adds give them and make them immumem to new stacks for the durnetion of hand of freedom, so if the add get clouse to tank have a pala redy to use it, and the tank can stil move from devestating thingy :)

It's not an add-on; it's the boss' animation. If you zoom out and look from above like their camera angle, you'll be able to see it.
how do you get it to zoom out that far? my limit is very short so its harder to see the lines to dodge.

For people having problem with Elegon.
If your DPS are not beast (all pulling over 100k on Elegon), you have to 6 dps it with 2 healers. In that case, if your 6 dps can, togheter, pull an average around 90k dps, you will have no problem! My group was always hitting the enrage around 10%. Since i was the only healer with a descent dps spec, I went dps. We pretty much one shot him the last 2 weeks.

Its not really an end boss though, its more of a wing boss. End boss will be the Sha of Hatred, I believe, in the last T14 raid instance.

Guys I got a question. In my guild I am supposed to dps tank the Emperor's Strength add as a Frost DK (switched to blood presence for the tanking part). But when I try to tank the add on the outside the boss kinda death grips me back all the time. How can I counter this and why does it do that? Plz help me out, Thx
I did watch the whole video, clearly you didn't try to click any of them other than the MSV 1's. Seriously the portraits of the terrace of endless spring bosses have been at the end of the videos since before the raid was even released.
Has quantum been disbanded?
Can't understand why on our last gaz phase (wich means around 20%) the adds continue spawning, meaning that we obviously wipe on the boss because of the adds dps wich is increased by 25%. In addition the gaz phase last much more longer than ever.
You could say we are in enrage but my DBM announce it to me in 50 sec.
Do any of you guys have an idea of what could it be ?
I dont think the rogue using growl would be all that useful, if i recall correctly it has a 10min cd so it isn't much use. You might be able to have the rogue straight up tank it if he gets hunter MDs. The warlock tanking is interesting and it seems viable but im not 100% sure.
We were stuck because of the annhilation add and the little adds spawning between P2 to P1 & P2 to P3. If you can manage them so the boss is down !

The "dps tank" is not really a tank. It's a dps that needs to hold threat on the Strength ads when they spawn so he can hold them away from the rest of the raid to prevent the raid from getting stunned. When the gas comes, there are no ads spawning, so this "dps tank" can just dps the boss. He shouldn't need CD's because neither of the bosses should ever be hitting him.
Lfr is basically the same.. Nothing is diffrent exept every dmg source towards the players have been scaled down tremendously. E.g. epicenter from Feng - 50k ticks at max range on 10 man - 25k ticks at max range on lfr

elegon is easy mode once you get it right we were stuck at like 0.8% for a good bit until one of our dpses got his shit together and began dpsing like a baws.

It's exactly the SAME as a 10 man. LFR is 10 man but with 25 people, with bosses that have more hp and shit, but they're way easier in LFR. If you're doing LFR, watch these.
Sucks when not the last boss of a raid is medium and there is another boss in the raid thats hard -.-
