Sir please do correct me if my reason is wrong.... Patients die due to cerebral edema in DKA as there is difference between osmolar gradient in plasma as there is less glucose so ICF flows towards ECF leading to edema?
We need to check potassium levels before administrating Insulin as Insulin will further lower down the level of potassium leading to diaphagmatic paralysis therefore stopping of breathing?
