I just hate that they turned her into the typical mean girl slash jealous ex girlfriend. I know the nice spoiled rich girl the orginal Stella was is a stereotype as well but there are way more mean popular ex girlfriends in movies and TV shows so I thought they wouldn't do something so played out.
@@ieatplastic1756 She's not really like that! It's because of her mother. A character needs to be a little bad first, to get better! It's called character development!
@@Aruna_Shadows I think they are referring to the whole love triangle of sorts. In the orginal Stella had her own love interest and Diaspro was the one who rivaled Bloom for Sky's heart so much so that she was willing to hurt Bloom to win Sky in the end. @@riripari2042 Yeah, but the reason for her rather mean girl behavior is her mother. Also, I'm actually happy that Diaspro isn't in Fate! I can't stand that devil in disguise!

Honestly this show has done one amazing job with Stella. Sure she is nothing like the og but she has real character growth and considering her backround in s1 and especially in s2 she became an amazing part of the group
I still couldn’t get over how they drastically changed her personality 🥲 Like... Cartoon Stella was the lovable Cher from Clueless and Netflix Stella is pretty much Regina George :)?
Of All the clips I've watched from this show, this is the only clips that make me want to watch more, Stella seems like a really interesting character.
That's only just a tiny fraction of her powers imagine how powerful she'll be when she unlocks her full potential powers she'd be able to do all kinds of sorts of things.
I see her as a more modern version of Stella. Stella back then was so insensitive yet very decent and caring to the girls. As someone who’s the princess of Solaria, the oldest of the group and the blonde member well this should be her personality trait.
I like Stella’s character, and I think that her powers are very interesting; giving ppl hallucinations is an interesting take on the light powers she has. What I don’t like is that the writers basically turned Stella into the stereotypical “mean blonde girl is actually under sooo much pressure” trope. The “rival love interest” trope. It’s overused and doesn’t embody the role Stella actually plays in the cartoon. I know they wanted to be a lot more creative and mature with this show, but if so, how come they gave Stella such a predictable personality? Personally, I think that they could have kept Stella’s original, bubbly personality because it would have fit with her arc of dealing with her mother’s high expectations of reputation. Y’know, like Stella is excessively bubbly and personable partially because as a princess, she’s expected to be charming all the time, even if she doesn’t want to be (a little stereotypical, but at least it stems from something). that can segue into her own self-conflict. The show is still good though! I just think that making Stella a glorified Regina George that becomes friends with the protagonist is not doing her justice, that’s all :) (p.s. no hate to the writer’s tho lol)
People can say what they want but I really liked this Stella because I am a sucker for the "mean girl with a heart of gold" trope. That, and Stella and Diaspro are my favorite characters, so combining them was a win-win for me.
I love this version. I would like to see how she redeem herself in season 2-3. She isn’t classic mean girl. She doesn’t have any “army” and she isn’t planning anything against anyone (except earning sky back). You can see how unsatisfied her mother is, she expects from her daughter the real power, and the real magic. And Stellas royal behavior isn’t because “I’m popular and you should like me”, but because she is a literal princess that is used to comfort, with no real social experience. She never had any friends, I bet, and she feels like everyone is expect from her to look perfectly. I think Stella will change, don’t judge her by season 1.
2:38 we were all thinking it. Throw the nature fairy in some cute cottagecore outfits next season please. The show tries to be woke, but does a halfbaked execution with buzzwords sprinkled on top. They are pushing the whole big girl is insecure thing and that trope is tired and old. Make her confident in her personality and way she dresses as she learns to control her powers and grows as a fairy. There's nothing more powerful than a fat girl who doesn't give a fuck.
Stella was my favorite character growing up watching Winx Club… what is this poop? That’s not Stella. That’s not Stella’s wardrobe, that’s not Stella’s personality, she was LITERALLY a Ray of Sunshine. ☀️👑 pun intended.
The show gets interesting when they said the simple light magic can be: this rainbow.. can be to control what other people see and therefore invisibility That’s when I really started to like rhe show The light and the fire magic were the ones that really had stories. The mind one, oh gosh, just all about heartbreak and boys
I love the uses/ applications of Light Fairy magic in the show (invisibility, orbs of light, illusions, astral projections, etc), but the astral projection shown by Queen Luna kinda surprised me tbh - I understand the concept of projecting an *image* of herself elsewhere, but I don't see how a Light Fairy could create/ replicate sound remotely tbh.
It could potentially be a display of mind magic; or a combination of light and mind magic. Since the show explains a fairy can learn other types of magic beyond the element he or she was born with.
You will se soon maybe if they make second season i just want to see them fighting or their full power 1. Bloom should use her dragon flam 2. Terra should able to control more plant or maybe tree? 3. Stella will learn her mom power 4. I want musa show her attack power or maybe she will mind transfer? 5. Aisya should control more her water coz she already strong but not enough
I just wished they wouldnt have made this a winx saga but any other fairy saga with other names and stuff. I think this show would be better if we couldn't compare it to the original cartoon version.
İts already amazing as it is but the fans keep compare it to the cartoon version and so many people who would never watch this series wondered how excatly "netflix made winx" and watched it so they gained viewers.

It's not that bad for a Netflix *adaptation* . But I kind of agree, it's way too different from the original cartoon. "The Winx" shouldn't even be in the title. It was just inspired by it, which can be a good point but is also kind of frustrating.

It really hurt me watching season 2 cause they just don't feel like main characters yet. I hope they elaborate
If Stella crossed over in the movie Lights Out, she will definitely defeat the she-monster that lurks in the dark, since her power is light. Bad ass hero for the protagonists.
Seeing her in a love triangle with bloom and sky is sooooo stupid. As I remember clearly, She's one of the reasons why bloom discovered her fairy heritage. She saved Bloom as a matter of fact. making her a cliche mean girl is plain shit. .
Totally agree with you, we all had to wait until episode 5 of 6 to to see Stella's "redemption arc" and to have a plain explanation of why she was basically acting as a psychotic mean rich girl🤦🏻♂️
I feel bad for stella her mother made her bad i also remember the line when she said to her mother that she didn't even say goodbye to her friends becouse her mother wont let her and her mother said that there are not your friends stella, i mean for real she look so depress here but she kinda hide it☹️she has a strong personality
They ruined her... Stella is supposed to the regal princess...who is also a bad bitch. The it girl of Alfea. The mean girl who is not actually mean in any way. But they give us this! Like wtf I'm sorry your honor it's giving Diaspro ✋🏿 And don't get me started on the abusive mother bs Luna was like the peak of regality and poise She'd never abuse Stella And also THE CLOTHING☠💀😭
While I am still bummed that they basically erased the original Stella who had a compelling personality and character growth, this one left me hoping. I immediately liked the prospect of a redemption arc, even though it was apparent why Stella was such a stereotypical mean girl from the first few moments with her (her mom being a control freak, her taking it out on people, Yada Yada) . Me being able to recognize this story line proves how much of a stereotype it is. However, that doesn't mean it's gonna be bad. Even if we have seen it done before, it's still entertaining and we can still take something away from it because God knows when the day comes where we won't have to still learn from this. It wasn't done very well and that's where my disappointment lays. Honestly, Stella's character was the only one who intrigued me because I am a sucker for well done redemption arcs and Terra disappointed me so badly since Flora was and is my favorite Winx. Terra made me feel contempt for the ill-placed forceful "feminist" agenda at times (Greenhouse scene when Dane confronts her). I rarely am intrigued by the main character, Aisha had a good start but was kind of close sighted and Musa only sparked interest at the very end of the season. Terra is on second place of my interesting character ranking since she at least confronts real body image issues and can be compassionate. She also seems fake to me, as she immediately lashes out and makes up her mind about the reason why someone "wronged" her when she doesn't get what she wants out of the kindness she shows others (e.g. The very beginning, confronting Musa for pretending to not hear her). The worst thing is the whitewashing which is honestly neither the actresses nor the character's fault but ykno. That is why I was hopeful for Stella but her quick turnaround gave me whiplash. I am okay with her recognizing her faults and confronting Sky about the nature of their "relationship". What I would love to see is conflict, having to own up to her horrible behavior and *apologizing* for her attitude. But no, she still jokes about Terra's appearance with the familiarity of an old friend instead of someone who had just gone through such a quick turnaround that their intent with this quip is still questionable. If I were Terra, I wouldn't appreciate her thinking it's alright to just pretend like she suddenly doesn't mean it like that, pretend like it's coming from a positive regard. There's good quips, the kinds that show you hold someone in high regard but this isn't it. I am still hopeful for her to be forced to confront herself and own up to the bullying. Maybe throw in Terra since she bullied her a lot. The only original Stella I can see is the advice she gives to Bloom. She teaches her at crossroads, assuming her mentor role. While it's sometimes bad advice, Stella participated in pretty much every breakthrough that Bloom had in regards to her past. Winx Club Stella is a lot like that and she can go overboard with her comments but she wants to put her friends up, not down.
One of the things I love from Fate is the versatility of magic, we are finally ending with the suddenly increase of energy beams to resolve everything from the last Winx seasons. Every Winx transformation with new spells that they show like once or two (if we lucky), and them return to the same ray beam for the rest of the season. 💀
This is not Stella I did not recognise her at first I was like is she like a supervisor? Or teacher who is she? Honestly I’m still questioning it because : Stella, Techna and Flora are missing

She reminds of sailor moon
I just hate that they turned her into the typical mean girl slash jealous ex girlfriend. I know the nice spoiled rich girl the orginal Stella was is a stereotype as well but there are way more mean popular ex girlfriends in movies and TV shows so I thought they wouldn't do something so played out.
Her mother's control to light is outstanding... Its like bending reality... i bet she can release lasers too...
If she focus a sun beam yes
i hate this version of stella ugh stella was my fav in cartoons
Why do you hate her?
@@Aruna_Shadows she’s a lot meaner in this version
@@ieatplastic1756 She's not really like that! It's because of her mother.
A character needs to be a little bad first, to get better!
It's called character development!
@@Aruna_Shadows either way she’s still rude.
@@ieatplastic1756 And if she gets better?
She feels more like diaspro
She's only like that because of her mom.
@@Aruna_Shadows I think they are referring to the whole love triangle of sorts. In the orginal Stella had her own love interest and Diaspro was the one who rivaled Bloom for Sky's heart so much so that she was willing to hurt Bloom to win Sky in the end. And just like how Sky didn't care much for Diaspro in comparison to Bloom this version of Sky cares more for Bloom while Stella is the annoyingly jealous ex who won't take a hint much like Diaspro. But at least Stella seems to more or less have gotten over it by the end of the season.
@@riripari2042 Yeah, but the reason for her rather mean girl behavior is her mother.
Also, I'm actually happy that Diaspro isn't in Fate!
I can't stand that devil in disguise!
@@Aruna_Shadows I think her being a mean girl was both due to having a cold mother and also being pissed over the "new girl" getting Sky's attention. She wasn't nearly as hostile to Bloom as Diaspro was but she certainly didn't like Bloom and Sky being near each other and tried to get Bloom to go home even if it meant having Bloom risk her safety by passing the school shields all alone when she knew that girl had no control over her powers to defend herself.
@@riripari2042 Yeah, but Stella definitely gets character development and will be a better character, but when was Diaspro ever a good person and when did she ever better herself?
things that I want to be part of in the coming seasons: that everyone can be transformed, and them add to trix and witch school (forgot what it's called) and tecna of course, beatrix gave me stormi vibes not tecna vibes..
Beatrix is the 3 trix in one I thought, techna will be added later in the series
@@strawberri98 i dont think so. Brian young said she reminds us of one of the trix sisters which is Stormy
You mean Cloud tower the witch school.
Her names has trix in it
I can see the other girls transforming through bloomix Powers maybe dividing the dragon fire
Honestly this show has done one amazing job with Stella. Sure she is nothing like the og but she has real character growth and considering her backround in s1 and especially in s2 she became an amazing part of the group
"I'm not above poltergeisting" LMAOOO my favorite line
Completely a whole different stella...I mean in the bad way😢
then dont watch it
She's not really like that.
It's just because of her mother, that she's acting like this!
They dressed her like a mom of 3 in her late 30s. They did her dirty. 😿
@@jazzy5410 She's royalty. Dressing demurely and classy is kinda the point not to mention realistic.
My favorite character from these series! I hope we will see more of her powers in S2!!💫🤩😍
Exactly i don’t see why people mad for the show is BOMB
MY FAVORITE IS BLOOM
Yeah I think she will have a lot of character development
@@Snnyskai have you seen the of cartoon, Stella is like the opposite
I hope underneath her mask she’s the bubbly fun Stella we all know and love and that her friends help her show it more the next season
Why are her eyes doesn't change color or like glow when she's using her power like the other fairies ??
it does it just blends in with the light
They are white-ish, you can see it in the first episode after her taking selfies and snipping her finger
I still couldn’t get over how they drastically changed her personality 🥲 Like... Cartoon Stella was the lovable Cher from Clueless and Netflix Stella is pretty much Regina George :)?
This stella can have character growth.
Of All the clips I've watched from this show, this is the only clips that make me want to watch more, Stella seems like a really interesting character.
Queen👑⭐💛
she learned how to become invisible with her light based magic
As soon as i saw they gave stella her ring i stanned so hard
That's only just a tiny fraction of her powers imagine how powerful she'll be when she unlocks her full potential powers she'd be able to do all kinds of sorts of things.
Stella's powers are awesome,beautiful.
I see her as a more modern version of Stella. Stella back then was so insensitive yet very decent and caring to the girls. As someone who’s the princess of Solaria, the oldest of the group and the blonde member well this should be her personality trait.
I saw that nobody unliked this at the moment!Keep up the good content!
She's my favorite
Stella is the most beautiful winx fairy
And most stylish of course.
Yeah in the cartoon version as well
That last scene is sooo Stella with the smile at the end I love it!!😍🌟
the scene where she pushed beatrice in the wall was badass
I think they mixed this Stella’s character with Stella from the winx animation and Diasporo.
this is not Stella, this is some kind of aunt where our Stella always loves to help her friends 😭😭😭
"The only thing able to keep me sane at this place is the ability to leave it."
*Looks at past online classes*
Stella should not be with sky omg! Bloom and her were best friends and she was actually nice in the show. These people did not watch winx.
if they made the live action but completely same with originl. better not to make!
People can say what they want but I really liked this Stella because I am a sucker for the "mean girl with a heart of gold" trope. That, and Stella and Diaspro are my favorite characters, so combining them was a win-win for me.
If Faragonda had Stella's outfits, she would look stunning, but Faragonda is literally thousands of years old
I love this version.
The show gets interesting when they said the simple light magic can be: this rainbow.. can be to control what other people see and therefore invisibility
That’s when I really started to like rhe show
The light and the fire magic were the ones that really had stories. The mind one, oh gosh, just all about heartbreak and boys
Although I don't like Netflix Winx, it's nice to see Stella use her photokinetic powers to make herself invisible 😃
I like how they use Fairy Magic in the show - it caught me by surprise as I was expecting it to be more Eclipse's abilities from The Gifted tbh.
It could potentially be a display of mind magic; or a combination of light and mind magic. Since the show explains a fairy can learn other types of magic beyond the element he or she was born with.
They really destroyed my poor girl...
Her mom*
@@realdavidjones1623 Yeah! They didn't destroy her! Her mother is the reason she's like that!
Why don't they call these "witches" more than "fairies"? Because I still can't really get that "fairy vibe" they are trying to convey tbh.
You will se soon maybe if they make second season i just want to see them fighting or their full power
1. Bloom should use her dragon flam
2. Terra should able to control more plant or maybe tree?
3. Stella will learn her mom power
İts already amazing as it is but the fans keep compare it to the cartoon version
and so many people who would never watch this series wondered how excatly "netflix made winx" and watched it so they gained viewers.

I don't like this serie. Why did they change thé story l'île that. Is literrary another story or a different serie. They should change the theme of the serie I think. Is kind of interesting but I'm still pissed off about the fact that Is very different from the original cartoon. That's why I say, the theme must be change.
It's not that bad for a Netflix *adaptation* . But I kind of agree, it's way too different from the original cartoon. "The Winx" shouldn't even be in the title. It was just inspired by it, which can be a good point but is also kind of frustrating.
@@장미-z2j Exactly! This is not an adaptation but just them getting inspired by it... They just used "Winx" in the title and called it an adaptation in order to get attention from the fans of the og/help it become popular quickly... But personally I am really pissed off about it.
If they copied the exact storyline they would have to pay the people who made winx allllllloooooottttt of money.

“Btw that outfit” that’s ironic when they gave Stella equally ugly clothes
I love stella here. The only thing i don't like is, She is powerless. Stella is strong and always the savior in season 1
I feel like she IS strong but she doesn't know how to use her powers. It's like a powerful car. It is powerful but if you don't know how to drive, the car is useless. She is getting comfy with the "car" (her powers), one fonctionnality at a time
As I am writing this a day before season 2 releases, I really hope they elaborate on the cartoon's abilities of the girls, especially Stella and musa. Their powers are just so watered down. It really hurt me watching season 2 cause they just don't feel like main characters yet. I hope they elaborate
Is that it? She's a glorified spotlight. Where are the lasers.
The effects of her powers are nice
Her light power is beautiful 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

This felt like a CW show. That's NOT a compliment. I don't know what Rainbow was thinking with this...
Cartoon stella : Kind hearted, friendly , absolutely fond of fashion
Fate stella : Rich mean girl, have the ugliest outfits in existence

They literally made Stella and diaspro the same person and I don’t know how to feel about it
They make Stella like Diaspro because her behavior and fight for Sky with Bloom. That isn't fair. Stella doesn't deserve that. I don't stan that....
I'm so exited for season 2 and my girl Stella is short hair and I'm so exited to use her magic
THE CASTING IS SOOOO BAD SHES NOT GIVINGGG STELLA

Honestly I’m still questioning it because : Stella, Techna and Flora are missing
IT STELLA DUMBASS
At the first episode I was pissed off too about how they made stella, but on the next episodes you see she is acting like that only because her mother wants to be the b*tch rather than the person she truly is.
When I first saw her I thought it was Diaspro
