Thabks for the review, I had a similar model (made in China and cheap) for vacuuming the leaves in the garden. It was so loud, leaves kept getting stuck and it was not powerful. Thanks to your review, I purchased this and it feels like having a superpower. Sucks everything in my terrace (I have lots of trees) and compared to my old one its super quiet. My one issue is the bag, which when full I wouldn't know what to do with it, I dont think you can empty it, so like you said, probably will have to buy a few (I found a set of 4 for about $20). The wheels are uber smooth and storing it is actually cute. What an awesome purchase and that packaging makes you excited to use it. Thanks for the video !!
I've had the earlier revision of the Kärcher WD3 for almost about 5 years now. I think my opinion on it has been too harsh since I've been spoiled by my Numatic Henry and Swiss Henry but now that I think about it again, considering the price of this machine. Although this machine is definitely built down to a price, compared to it's competition (especially in the North American market) It's pretty damn good.
Thank you so much for this video! My Shop Vac which was the Shop Vac brand died after 6 years, I have been on the hunt for another one, this is definitely helpful!
I need to get the Karcher canister style steamer with the full array of attachments as Oreck stopped making my Steamit and it’s getting hard to find new pads. Besides as soon as I bought the Oreck I realized it’s not the best tool to use in a stall shower and the Karcher would be flexible. Their stuff is made really well.
Amazing video as always 😁 I have had the same one for past four years and it is good. I only had two small issues with the cord and the squeegee on the floor tool. The cord broke on the inlet of the vacuum and the squeegee wore out bc I used it to often on my rug 🤦♂️
I own a different model of a karcher from the "WD" line (WD4) it has a Domel motor which I believe are relatively high quality compared to the generic chinese motors most of these vacuums have. They do sell replacement motors for this model on ebay.
Looks like a good little machine totally shocked me since it's so small but I love that bc I don't like big shop vacs & I'm loving that it is pretty quiet! I'm a little confused though in the description box you link to the 34mm TK286 but that only comes in 32mm (1-1/4") or 35mm (1-3/8") so I'm not sure which one to buy. When I click on link it picks the 32mm so is it the 32mm (1-1/4") size that is correct for WD3?
Are you sure those vacuum bags work with the WD3? The Karcher website tells me to get another one, but I cannot find them anywhere, and they are not for sale on the Karcher site. Thank you. Also, just a note that I decided to get a Sebo E3 because of your channel and other research. I am happy I didn't go with a Shark or Dyson again.
These are the bags that the machine came with and that the manual specifies. I appreciate you looking at the affiliate link that helps us out a whole lot here! The good thing with Amazon if it's the wrong thing it can be returned.
Did you use particle counter with it at any point? Good to know since often used to collect alsorts of dust thats more hazardous or problematic - diy... drywall, saw dust, lead contaminated paint etc.
i know an earlier version of this which didnt have a dial it was more of a traditional push buttons it didnt have tool storage on the motor unit and had a fixed handle but its more a less the same cleaner but it didnt have fleece bags it was more of paper bags which i hate because they leak out dirt and they clog alot quicker
I saw other review and you were very active on the comments of that video, you confirmed some comments about this machine just being a rebadged Bissell and your opinion on this machine was not very positive compared to your view on the video
How does the noise compare to that of a normal shop vac or even a home vac? Looking for a quieter wet/dry vac for car cleaning and emergency clogs or such. The Dewalt Stealthsonic i think is quiter but i personally prefer the size and setup of the Kartcher. I was also looking at the steup up from this model as it uses the flat filter cratrage with a partial self clean function, seemed intresting! Also its on sale for prime day, hence the deeper intrest
There's a sound test in the video for noise comparison. You might pull up this video in a different browser window and listen side by side. ua-cam.com/video/nxtruFzyMWQ/v-deo.html
@@PerformanceReviews thanks very much again. I'll order this or the wd4 from Home Depot. Thanks as well for recommending Wessel Werk accessories. Thanks to you I already have a set of 35mm Wessel Werk accessories including the TK286 which I currently use with my Miele S251.
Hi! What is your opinion about vacuums with water filters? Karcher and Koblenz have some models and they promise solve the problems of bagless vacuums.
There are plenty of companies who have added water to vacuums, the problem with water is it's generally a poor filtration medium. The solution really is modern HEPA bags.
I have this model but the stainless variant. Great as a wet vac, trying to use on carpet. Not so good hard floor I bet it's amazing. Any ideas how to make it a better carpet Vacuum?
1:19 i love the level of BS on the box. "designed and engineered" somehow, through the super addled minds over at Karcher HQ (probably yellow pigment huffers) means the same as "concu et fabrique"... I get it, French is not German, but still...
As a Romanian I didn't know Romania was famous for making AK's lol

I would definitely take a look at this or the slightly bigger WD4 & WD5
Glad this was especially helpful to you! Thanks for watching as always.

So what you saying as you use the hell out of it and wore Part's out. That seems like exactly what it was intended for 🙂
Good video. I enjoy your vacuum repair on the bench, videos. Especially, the workplace ones.
Thanks for watching!
well i was going for a dexter vacuum, before seeing french recommend this over that, saying that in term of quality and longevity it exceed it

Very useful video thank you. I was looking for a review for the MV3 and I keep getting WD3, are they the same?

The link has an option to choose between 32 and 34 mm. It might be listed as 35. But that is the correct one to fit this.

Does it have a hole to let the sucked water out neatly or do you have to turn it upside down to get rid of it - which would seem kind of messy?
On this small guy you just dump it. They do have bigger models with a water hole .
@@PerformanceReviews do you know if WD3 has it?
Thank you for this review. Is this compatible with 35mm or 32mm attachments?
34.5mm if we want to get technical. Sometimes they are listed as 34mm sometimes 35mm

How much is the cost price for the vacuum??

Could you recommend a good vacuum for tile floors with grout lines? Thanks.

Cool machine!
Will standard attachment fit
It uses the 34 mm standard. Not the 32mm standard.

There's a link in the description for that
Where did you find this at
Link in the description but here's the link.

Could I use this for my house vaccum by itself instead of a shark?
If you only had hard floor and the cord length wasn't an issue yes you could use this
Great video. A vacuum cleaner is indeed a helper with cleaning. I bought a cordless Prettycare and it works great. It's really time-saving. 😁
That's actually pretty quiet for a shop vac
Yes it sure is! Thanks for watching.
I just bought this and I need someone to kindly guide me on how I can use it when cleaning my couch
You'll need to buy an upholstery tool. Links to everything in the description as well.
This is what you will need for that.

I’ve been using rigids for decades I had a Karcher I don’t like the fact the hoses very small
there a ridgid model you recommend?
You should get a dewalt stealthsonic
Send me one

How much suction in kpa? Look nice
See section test measurement section.
9:28: "[...] especially for a vacuum made in a country that's most famous for making AKs, Romania": your ignorance is astounding.
I didn't actually know that you speak Spanish! I hardly speak this language at all!
