Hi !! I grew up with 2 brothers who were both severely Hearing Impaired (replaced “hard of hearing” many years ago). They both stated over and over to stop yelling when talking to them. They rarely ever shouted when responding to anyone. They had to remind people to speak face to face & not behind them. My younger brother told me once that he could hear my voice better than others because of the pitch I spoke with !! It’s interesting how the shouting problem differ(s) from person to person !! Thx for sharing your experiences !!
This is exactly why we stopped dealing with a travel agent. It's so much easier to book directly and they are open past 5 pm weekdays which is the only time we could reach the travel agent to leave a message and wait days for a return phone call.
That was just a bad agent you had! Booking cruises directly with cruise lines is fine, as long as everything goes smoothly. If you have a decent agent (with an emergency contact number), though, you will know agents can save you SO MUCH trouble-with trip interruptions (e.g., flight delays, lost baggage, etc.) and other irregularities b/c you won’t have to deal with the suppliers and, instead, your agent will take care of everything…incl. insurance claims! Also, many agents give you extra perks when you book cruises through them-like onboard credit or welcome champagne in the cabin. Also, with COVID, I was able to get a full refund for the canceled trip (cruise and air) through my agent promptly but my friends that booked directly have only been able to get credit for future use after spending hours…or days…trying to reach a customer service agent.

I had a problem with charges against my credit card once, that I didn't understand, and although I had already been on my trip, when I went to see the agent about it, they sorted it all out for me and got the charges reversed for me. Even then I had to go back three times, before it was actually resolved, but that was through no fault of the travel agent. I don't think I could have done this by myself .

and his email to Cruise web was so demeaning and unprofessional. He was the one who was difficult to deal with. There are now 10 000 000 people who now know he does this and how unprofessional he is, and are not likely to ever use him or his company.
When I am booking travel, cancelation fees are one of the most important things that I want to know about. You never know what is going to happen in the future. She didn't read the fine print. Too bad, so sad. Both of them are annoying but the judge made the right decision.
Whether or not the plaintiff is hard of hearing as a reason for his yelling is up the air. I do know given his demeanor that he must be a headache to deal with...
Agree with the judge ruling. Both of them are ridiculous. I can not believe she sued over 300$ that the other company discounted her. So technically she wasn't out an extra 300$. I believe old guy misspoke and didn't want to say he misspoke on deposit being refundable
Even if he did .. she signed a contract that says it’s not refundable. In this case, it’s only the agency which lost the deal. The guy made a mistake because he mostly was done with her. Also. Why the secrecy? She was off about the information needed and about booking it
There was a guy in Georgia on UA-cam that was sued by a guy in Illinois for defamation. He hired a lawyer and they filed a motion to dismiss because of the physical distance made it an undo burden to travel for the court date. The court in Illinois agreed and the case was dismissed. Since the trial has to take place to determine if the defendant is liable there is a chance he isn't and the court won't compel someone in a small claims case to appear several hundred miles from home for that reason. The plaintiff could have filed in Georgia but that would require him to pay for travel and the same thing applies so the suit was just dropped. I would think the travel agent would have been afforded the same legal defense.

@@mokkamellb6811 it‘s just a reservation, not rocket science. as long as you read the terms and conditions and make sure you understand everything before signing or making a payment, you‘re fine. also, if you need help, there‘s always costumer service. in my experience, it‘s better to do it yourself rather than put all your trust in an agent that may or may not screw everything up and that you‘d still have to pay🤷♀️
@@acmrw lmfao!!!!
@@acmrw 💯
Exactly how it should have turned out, the travel agents know which states and countries dont have to return deposits, so they bait and switch...
So that’s what a travel agent looks like. I thought they went extinct decades ago
He’s the last one.
U have to read the cruise documents/contracts carefully, from what I've heard...
The defendant made the travel agent do all that work and then went behind his back to the cruise line. She wasted his time. She is the epitome of entitlement.
Exactly, he provided a complete service.
That finger at the end bwhahahaha😂😂
Why is the plaintiff yelling? He's patronizing too ...
He's hard of hearing
@@katrinkasanfranciscobayare7364 7:16 the judge gave mention to his boisterous tone, instead of stating his reasoning why, he apologized.
I live for these narrations 😂😂💀
1:36 The guy sounds like a 1930s radio announcer lol
The worst part of the show is.. Harvey talking to those people (they don’t know anything) Harvey is so annoying!
I say the same thing bringing the segment with Mister judge Marilyn Milian
They know more than you know.
@@katrinkasanfranciscobayare7364 Second that. Doesn't add anything and isn't even funny. Just the couple talk how well the other partner did her job.
I thought it was just me that fast forward past him.
Harvey has the easiest job ever. He is actually a lawyer too but I wonder if he actually ever worked as one.
Watched in this order: Crashed Out, Tapped Out, Tripping Out 😆
The defendant may have been a hard client to deal with, but the plaintiff seemed quite agitated. I'm glad he isn't my travel agent!
and his email to Cruise web was so demeaning and unprofessional. He was the one who was difficult to deal with. There are now 10 000 000 people who now know he does this and how unprofessional he is, and are not likely to ever use him or his company.
Bro sounded like every president before 1970
Yes!
Never expected to see a Picasso woman 😂🤣😂
When I am booking travel, cancelation fees are one of the most important things that I want to know about. You never know what is going to happen in the future. She didn't read the fine print. Too bad, so sad. Both of them are annoying but the judge made the right decision.
I can’t stand the plaintiff his arrogance and faux outrage argh
It sounds like they both deserve each other.
Whether or not the plaintiff is hard of hearing as a reason for his yelling is up the air. I do know given his demeanor that he must be a headache to deal with...
I don't think he is yelling. He just speaks louder then most
I heard the agent types with caps lock ON
Judge tend to low-key bully some people who appear before her, and I do not know why. She seem to pick sides too fast.
She was off about the information needed and about booking it
I hope this matter is finally done with. Dealing with people who don’t fully understand things can be especially difficult.
8:28 She actually let him speak while she was going through the document. She usually shooshes them while she is checking papers.
Literally he isn’t yelling .. that’s his normal talk.. this judge is so out of touch
Why do they have loud music while talking about the case at the start? It drowns out whats being said!
Sometimes I feel like the street interviews need to be edited lmao
*Harvey, we need a NO PACKING HIM LAW ON THE BOOK... OH WAIT THERE IS ONE* "THE BIBLE"
Plaintiff: 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 #LoudAndWrong
Did that old geyser whistle at the bailiff?? This isn’t the good ole boys days arse
I just love the voice-over for these cases. 😂😂
