Thanks for your comment. I’m glad you’ve found my video useful. It is not a stupid question. The answer is that just like in English some words can have different meanings depending on how you use them. In this case extraño can be a noun that means strange, but it can also be the first person conjugation in the indicative of the verb extrañar which means to miss someone :) I hope it is clear now :)

Your program as a whole is well categorized and, with each topical presentation clearly, thoroughly and, patiently explained. Truly, you have made learning a new language easy and, Spanish, in particular to be appreciated. Specifically, when the usages for "Se" and for "Lo" initially may seem like a lot to remember your careful explanations encourage one to return and review the video as needed. Your evident devotion to language provides a commendable example to learners. Gracias y muchas bendiciones a cambia.

I love your videos, but I want to help you, too! ¨Talking with your mouth full is the least polite thing ever¨. In English, we use educated to refer to studies only: she is very educated (she has a high level of education, she has studied a lot).

Cindy S this lesson is a very good explanation .The way I learned was to totally give up looking at grammar tables and just take in as many example sentences as possible using the words I wanted to learn.Worked for me .Eventually it just ‘feels ‘ right .

Hi Cindy, thanks for leaving your comment! I know it can be a bit challenging and confusing at the beginning. I hope the different ways and examples I showed in this video make it a little bit more clear for you... there’s no one-fits-all rule for its usage but I’m sure that with practice you will eventually feel confident to use it.
