To quote your good-self Damian. "Love your work". I still love Harry's Garage, Carfection and Tyrell's Classic Workshop - BUT - TheCarGuys has quickly become my favourite, most enjoyable car channel on UA-cam. Damian's entertaining commentary and 100% BS-free presentation style is a total joy to watch - and it's gotten to the point where I consistently look forward to every new episode. This one is no exception. Another brilliant episode.
This Chanel is a undiscovered Gem for a lot of followers of desirable Cars, this one is hosted by the most charismatic host of this type of subject on UA-cam in my humble opinion.
All 599s are ageing very well aesthetically. The GTO is an incredible car. It’s a big leap on from a GTB, but in real world driving on the road, not that big a leap … And (ignoring running costs for the moment), a GTB is a relative bargain at only GBP90k in today’s market, IMHO.
I absolutely love the 599 GTO, It's the perfect combination of modern with an even more "analog" touch! One of the best GTs I've ever driven! Great content
Immediately went online to search for available examples. Shortly afterwards realized I can’t actually afford one. Devastated!!! Great video of an amazing car!
Now that is a PROPER motor, epic machine. Come on Damian, admit to us all that you have been on the tinternet searching for one . I also spied a very special watch on the wrist for a very special car .. bravo 👏
My ultimate dream car and has been for years. Take this animal before a Chiron any day of the week….. it’s just so raw and mental with no shitty leather. Love it
The best Ferrari ever made (my opinion). Nothing beats the rawness, designed to be driven hard. Pure Ferrari spirit and heart. I am very lucky to have been surrounded by a few and it always gives me goosebumps and puts a tear in the corner of my eye. A 599 owner I spoke with wanted the empty plaque in the cabin signed by Mick Schumacher :)
The Ferrari 599 GTO is an incredibly beautiful car and the sound is wonderful. Thanks for finally finding out about this model, have only heard them mentioned by various youtubers who have seen it and that's all until now.
Pictured here at the Mille Miglia in my 308 formerly owned by the legendary Roy Orbison, I feel as excited as Damian is just watching this superb review of the 599 GTO! One of the best Ferrari ever produced - either road or track! An automobile that overwhelms the senses with panache!
Great, entertaining and well put together video. I love that you provide such detail, and yet not dull or too much. That car sounds utterly fantastic. Well done, looking forward to the next installment!
Describing the engine noise..."it,'s constantly pissed off ". Brilliant. LOL. Who else would say it that way? Only The Car Guys...that's why we love your videos.
I gotta give Credit to your Cameraman and Editing. You explain the technology and functionality of the Design Details while he films everything beautifully. Straight forward, no nonsense. Great Job @TheCarGuys
What a car. What a video. Thanks Damian. By the way, saw you and the good lady in your 458 on the M40 last week, triple layer paint looking spot on in the sun.
I'm very pleased to see what you made of this. I am fortunate to have had chance to give one beans myself and it remains the must have lotto win car for me. It's not the fastest but I just loved the attitude of the car and the way it demands respect if you want to get the best from it. Looks like it left a similar impression on you with far broader experience than me.
One of the best videos you made so far, Damian. Loved the video and your love for cars and this one, in particular, was one big joy to watch. Keep on making these great videos.
Mr. Car Guy's presentation scintillation level directly increases with the scintillation level of the drive he reviews. A classic example of a Car Guys Presentation.
What a car… for me the best V12 ever made. That Sound! Together with the Scuderia for the V8s .. that rawness and engangement is epic!! Thank you! Nice Patek by the way… 😅🤘🏻
I always wondered about the shift speed on the GTO transmission versus the Scuderia. I personally like the way the Scud’s shifts once you put it in RACE mode. How old a Lamborghini STO and GT4 with a PDK and I still find SCUD’s Version of the single clutch transmission adequate. Yes, you are right, you need to lift momentarily when changing gears, but that’s what makes it a lot more akin to driving a car with a manual transmission.
Great episode..awesome car. Brute force. My local AD in Melbourne has a gorgeous 599 GTO in his collection. Pearlescent white with metallic blue mirrors and stripe. A very cool look. Even has the 599 number plate. Which adds another $4-500k to the price.. if it was for sale. It sits beside his 288GTO. and F40. And Enzo. Another lovely PP on the wrist, I see.
My uncle had one of these and it was quite simply the best car I have ever experienced. It’s savage and raw but also just about comfortable enough to use often… unless it’s wet. If it’s wet you need to call up your lawyer and settle your will before you take this thing out.
I had tears, thinking how Great Ferrari's back then, and now they're producing, scraps such as Sf90,f8,296 which has no soul in it. The last Ferrari which has soul and connect with drivers emotion will be the 812 super fast...... And I'll prefer the 812 super fast any day. And can't even imagine how worst the purosounge gonna be
Good vid, worth the extra effort and finesse - I was in the car park when Vanessa Feltz reversed her crappy dented Mini into Chris Evans' 599 gto and drove off hoping he wouldn't notice as it was just a small ding - Agree it's a fab car Roger from Evo Magazine and I had one for a month on launch and we loved it apart from it slightly naff glitzy looks !!
Of all the places to drive and you some how end up driving up and down Crackley lane! Nice video, nice car, not seen it around before but ill keep my eyes open for it now!
This vlog is on save, watched with a stupid smile on my face. The series can end now(just kidding)expected a gtb and once again you sourced the very best👏🏻
As usual great content no bullshit attitude, true petrolhead and top bloke by far loving this series , I have two friends who have one in their collections and adore them , she is a feral beast for sure
The exhaust noise of the 599 GTO is amazing, sure. But the induction noise and the engine roar is on another galaxy. I had a chance to see one driven flat out on racetrack. The way it sounds when it takes long deep breath is just something else.

I've never been a big fan of the looks of the 599, but the changes to the GTO are a big improvement. That color looks spectacular on that car as well!
I agree
I absolutely love the 599 GTO, It's the perfect combination of modern with an even more "analog" touch! One of the best GTs I've ever driven! Great content
This is my favorite front engined Ferrari V12. Sound is insanse
Agree, it’s magical
My soulmate
Immediately went online to search for available examples. Shortly afterwards realized I can’t actually afford one. Devastated!!!
Great video of an amazing car!
This channel is criminally underrated! So much awesome content, needs well over 100k subs
Maybe one day!
Thanks! Awesome video, I will start saving now!
How have I not found this channel until today!? Just watched the F12 review and now this and I'm subbed up for more!
Welcome aboard! 👏🏻
What makes the 599 GTO so special is the incredible sound. And the FXX version is possibly one of the coolest looking cars ever made.
"Constantly pissed off"....the best disciption for a ferrari I've ever heard and how a ferrari actually should be....fantastic video as usual mate....
Thanks, Daniel

Awesome video Damian! One of my all time dream cars. What a stunning looking thing. And thanks for emphasising the noises it produces - Blinding.

288 is my all time favourite car. 599 incredible. Great video. Thanks
What a car. What a video. Thanks Damian.

Never really kept an eye on the 599 whether itˋs the GTB or the GTO but now I see how smooth, elegant and beautiful this car really is. Thank you!
Big thank to Tony from me too and to you Damian, fabulous car and a superbly involving review, I believe these reviews are getting better and better
Cheers, Roger, that means a lot

Bravo for this very interesting and unique series and for the Gentleman who lent you that astonishing car to drive! Great stuff!!
Great review of a wonderful car, Damian, what colour was the badge on the back of a Testarossa....?
What a privilege 😎👍🏻 And what an orchestra !
👍🏻👍🏻
That is a particularly special kind of red. It looks incredible with the orange popping as an undertone.
Your channel is absolutely amazing. The editing, the articulate and enthousiast host Damian… By far one my favorite contents on youtube. Keep it up!
Wow, thank you!
the best car channel in the world simply the best
You’re very kind
Great video of , and this will be controversial, the best looking V12 Ferrari
Stunning Prancing Horse! Love this amazing beast. It's basically a street legal racing car.
Someone looks like they are having a lot of fun. A car needs to make you feel alive and make your heart beat faster. Great video Damian.
Cheers, my friend
Stunning video 👍🏻
Ferrari 348 also came with the black prancing horse.
25:12 a photo of a twin-turbocharged V8 engine? What has that got to do with either the Testa Rossa or the 250 GTO?
Amazing amazing amazing car and video
👍🏻👍🏻
Hi guys really good love it, knowledgeable well filmed 👍👍 And agree the new cars are really dull compared older is definitely the new cool!! 👍
Thanks, appreciate that

I do not need to lift in between gears at all on my Scud with the same SF2
You dont lift buddy
What a cool photo of the 599 XX with brake discs glowing
Love the Dr Who filming effects ❤nice review
