This helped me so much. I've been a gymnast for so long and I thought my backhand spring was fine until I watched this video. All of my tumbling passes start with a handspring and you can see how a powerful handspring leads to a powerful tumbling pass. I also found that this works with front handsprings too

Practise it lots on a soft surface like a mat, then go onto the grass and do it, but with someone spotting you. Then tell them to help you less and less, until there aren't helping at all, and you can do it. That worked for me!

If by leaning you mean you go to the side when you go back, I suggest watching your hands with you go back. So when you go back you can see where your hands are landing and you can straighten yourself out.

Do wrist curls with (or without) weights/ soup cans. Also tape/ wrap them to help train and relieve them a bit while tumbling. Dont tape them too often, though. If you do your wrists will become dependant on the tape and increase risk of injury. Tiger Paws are an option as well.
