Logan sargeant was once 1st in f2, so was nikita, mick, stoffel.
Being 1st in f2 does nothing.
For being in f1 you don't have to be good in f2, you have to be good in f1, which ollie and kimi have both shown.
Hence they are wanted over drivers such as paul aron and bortoleto, who I rate highly too

For all the people asking why Kimi and Ollie deserve a seat in f1, despite their position in f2 -
Kimi and Ollie are good in f1. Both have proved themselves by driving an f1 car. Both have until now, had stellar records in every junior category.
Logan won f2, Nyck won f2, Stoffel won f2 - Yet they are and were no where in f1.
I rate drivers like Paul, Maloney and Bortoleto highly but no team will take them unless they prove themselves in fp1 sessions.
Also for this reason I think felipe deserves the seat over lance because he has beat lance in several fp1 sessions.

Mercedes have a history of experimenting to there detriment. Battle hardened racers is the best option for teams. The fact financial interests can sway a seat is bs. Ricciardo ie.
