I love these 3 wheel trucksters. They’re so fun to cruise around in. Shame you had to replace the engine in it. The OMC engines sounded really cool.

Very cool project Those old OMC engines. Were pretty decent motors i dont want. To insult your intelligence as i heard you say it was locked up but with it still hooked up it could be a lot of other reasons that it doesnt spin for you of course the Preditar motors are good. But it may. Require some hard work to get it mated to the Cushman drivetrain ? My Dad always told me i was better off keeping cars and motorcycles as close to stock as possible because usually big companies had very good engineering staffs to design things that worked well with one another because of compatibility as a teenager. My Dad would shake his head at. Me and my freinds At hotrodding our toys as he would tell me its cool that you got it to go that fast. But how are you going to stop it with brakes that weren’t designed to stop at those speeds ? And of course that applied to many of the other components as well recently i was reading about all these 2 stroke motor kits that China is making for bicycles the article i read said that most of the kits work fine as far as the mechanical build and quality but the biggest problem is more that the bikes people are putting them are. Aren’t designed to have that type of a load on them and things lik the factory welds are failing And the front. Forks so there are lots of lawsuits going after the websites selling the kits ive noticed many of the websites are now putting warnings About that And the dangers involved i can sort of see all sides of the equation but if someone takes a pedal powered bike and bolts a motor to it. It should be at their own risk and responsibility unfortunately lawyers dont see it that way and many people dont get that as well So they want someone with the deeper pockets to pay up

That Cushman is a 1986. Look on the plate, it say 8610 to the right of the hyphen. The first two numbers are the year.

I just bought one exactly like it , 1989. Good strong runner.
      22hp.
Engine rebuild kits are like $400. Definitely better off sticking with the original engine or one like it
