And you don’t need an end music.. the kookaburra and the magpies are making the most beautiful music
Lol, we definitely don't want a googly-eyed octopus. You can mix the brands of inks, too. I really like the look of some glitter and some not and a little bit of white on some of the colors. Oh, he's so pretty! Love the eyes, lol. Fun, fun, fun!
Gilly, you will never know how much your art means to me. I'm 71 years old from RSA. I live from and thru your work. Your such a soul and earnest person. Thank you so much for being you. B
My name is Julie
Beautiful. U should put yr ones that "dont work" up too, we learn watching you and who knows we may be trying to get an effect that u "don't like"
And we just love watching you regardless. So please think about it. Xx
Wonderful blending on this enchanting sea creature...Wow..
He is absolutely beautiful. Love all the different aspects to him
I have yet to see anything you've made that I don't care for I love love love your work
That is very cool. I think the Octopi might be my favorite.
That octopus is just awesome!! I was showing my husband and when you turned it over he said wow!! He really liked it also. So pretty!! Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼❤️🌻🙏🏼❤️🌻🙏🏼❤️🌻🙏🏼❤️🌻
WowWowWowWow!!!! This is the coolest thing EVER:-) Great Job, Julie!!!
Love it! I especially like the outcome of the head. It is like looking into its brain! So pretty!
This octopus is my favorite
This was a lot of fun.
Irony: putting ink on a sea creature that shoots ink
Just started this video……THAT MOLD IS INCREDIBLE!!!
I love him...those eyes are awesome ❤
Gorgeous! The eyes are fantastic! Love it!!
Beautiful! I became obsessed with octopuses watching UA-cam videos when covid first started. I bought some "mood ring" color changing paint to make pendants with octopus designs but haven't gotten very far. I did want to point out that their pupils are horizontal in real life.
Pupils are vertical like she put them.
@@Enjoythepour yes I see my perspective is off because they don't usually sit this way, but of course making a 3d animal flat for art things look a bit different lol
Favorite octopus so far!
WOW! THAT IS IMPRESSIVE! Your page has inspired me with so many ideas!! Thank you for sharing your journey!
I love the blue and green !! It's so cool
You need a dragon mold for the red eyes. Love the octopus!
Turned out so cute. I was really afraid you were going to have more than the suggested amts of inks and white and it would not cure. You should hang all your hanging resin things in your kitchenette or bathroom area of your studio for decorations. Definitely your octopi in your bathroom area. Good job. 💜🤗💜
Wow! Otherworldly
What a beautiful octopus
I love this octopus! So colorful and the eyes totally make it! That head super keen on it! Wonderful work Julie! ❤️❤️❤️
I love this mold and octopuses
I became kind of obsessed watching octopus UA-cam videos when covid first started. So far one of my favorite cephalopods visually is the vampire squid. It looks like it's done with a duo chrome pigment lol
I so love watching your videos
So gorgeous! Can't wait to do my octopus.
I was really surprised, while moving all of my inks into the precision bottles, to see just how lovely these metallics are. Happy I have some of each of their colors. And I just saw someone else use theirs also in an octopus mold, which came our great. As always, you continue to surprise and delight me!
WOW this octopus is absolutely gorgeous and my favourite so far the colors are beautiful,,,,👾
OH MY GOODNESS!! Love it!!
He is absolutely adorable! I love the colors you used they really make it. Love, love, love
Oh wow!!! Incredible beautiful ♥️♥️
I love the eye's, she is awesome
Amazing Julie, absolutely love the octopus 🐙!! And his eyes 👀 are so cool!! Great work and thank you for sharing!!
I love your octopus, it came out so pretty!
Super, Super beautiful.
It’s beautiful with all the colors. The little bit of clear I think I see, is magical, it really shows off the white ♥️
He is stunning! Love those color swirls!
I think that is so pretty.
Love! Fantastically whimsical 💞
Oh my he's beautiful 😍 ❤
I've started to think that 2 different resins are good to have. My artist resin is thick but certain projects call for a thin, deep pour resin, or tabletop resin. We'll see and will let you know.
Gorgeous!!!....love the colours too 😜
I love this. My favorite of these you've done. I think the extra white adds an element of interest and looks better with it than without.
Wow Julie you definitely out done yourself. That is beautiful🐙
Love the colour combination, looks gorgeous ❤xx
This turn out lovely. I love how the white dropped, make it look almost real. 3D looking ❤️❣️
Beautiful Sea Creature Julie, wow you are so brave, the resin is expensive and I tend to not be so brave and then I mess it up anyway because I rushed. I will try to be a bit more patient. lol Great job tfs
I have a mold like this, and I've procrastinated on how to use it. Very inspiring and insightful video.
Thank you Julie.
This is one of my favorites! So cute!!
gorgeous
Lovin that one👍🏼❤️
Beautiful as always!!!
So awesome! I love the eyes!
Absolutely awesome again 👏👏
Absolutely beautiful xx
awesome julie , love his eyes , :)
That came out so pretty. Love the way the white dropped
Beautiful Julie!!😍😍😍
It came out awesome.
Wow gorgeous 😍 💖
Absolutely beautiful!!
This mould is amazing! Can just see it on the front of a 12 x 12 journal front cover!
Congratuletion From Italy ❤️
That is way too cool really good job
I love how that turned out! The eyes make it pop- good choice!
I wonder if you could unscrew the top of the alcohol ink, put a small piece of pantyhose across the opening, and then put top back on?? Maybe that would allow the ball to still move but would keep it from getting lodged in the tip? I learned from someone's video to use pantyhose on the opening of my floetrol bottle to prevent chunks from coming out so I was thinking it might work for this too!
I use UV resin to stick the eyes in, well I use it to stick anything in :)
I love it! I’m going to try this! Thanks so much..
Absolutely beautiful.I love these colours together and it’s to pretty to be called a he lol..Si she looks amazing ..It was exciting to watch too.I am glad it came out this fabulous or we would have missed it lol 🥰
I bought several sizes of eyes also and I gently set them in place first with a drop of gel top coat for nails and a UV lamp (as this is my other passion). It worked perfectly and I was able to get them just right. How adorable is your octopus? I love him/her. You’ll have to name him/her. 🇦🇺❤️
I'm using nail art stamping plates & polish to make cabochon pendants! Well, going to be. Lost motivation for awhile and now I'm packing things up to get my condo ready to be fixed up and sold. Hopefully I'll be able to get more space for doing crafts when we move.
Too cool! Love this
Another creation well done
You are just amazing at what you do Julie & it must be so good working in your new studio.
❤️
Oh how cool love it ❣️
Really tedious job but looks very good when finished
Fantastic x
Love that.
That is an outstanding piece. I really appreciate how the colors created a soft, unique blend. So much fun!
very cool
I Love It
So pretty! Amazing effects with that ink. Can't wait to see more😁
I really like him! I’m not sure what it is about this one but, I think he is fantastic. The way the inks reacted is what makes him look so cool. I think.
I love when you do the octopus resin pours! This one is my favorite! Love it!
I watched as you did the paint and thought you would have a mess when you got done. But...was I ever wrong..it is beautiful just love it. Wondering if you might have a manette you could do I would love to see what you would come up with. Probably a very beautiful piece.
I just wanted to jump on and ask if you and your family are safe and dry. I heard about all the flooding in Australia bless you and your family
That test Pendant is beautiful, love your octopus 🐙
This looks so awesome and very much like the realistic look of a octopus! Love this technique for this can’t wait to see your other tries with this technique!!
That turned out super cool. The way the tentacles have a different 'texture' than the body almost makes it look more realistic. You are being too hard on yourself. It will look nice more consistent too but this look isn't so bad either. I do love what is going on in the head. Well done as always.💖
Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely love this octopus he'd look lovely hanging in either a boys or girls room xx
I 💗 this Julie. It's so cute
Wow awesome.. I just ordered my first molds.. you inspired me
sieht echt Cool aus
I love your octopus mold. This is awesome. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks, it's in my ebay store
magnifique
You should put what don't work so people can see what happens
those eyes are fantastic. May I ask where you got them from please?
I found eyes on Amazon. What size did you use for the octopus?
Very nice! If you look up images of octopus eyes, you’ll find that the black slit is actually horizontal, not vertical like cat eyes.
Someone responded to me that they're vertical, if an octopus actually sat this way the pupils line up with the mantle a bit more vertically, or slightly angled. But making a 3 dimensional animal flat for art some liberties have to be taken lol. I think if I made this I'd split the difference and put them in angled, kind of perpendicular to the edges of the mantle?

Copy and paste…..&from octonation)
Octopuses possess an autonomic (involuntary) response that maintains the orientation of their pupils. Basically, they are always horizontal- no matter what! It's a reaction mediated by their statocysts - a pair of organs situated in cartilage below the octopus's brain. These organs function like our inner ear. By: Tim Ritenour

For some reason my first response is gone. They look good either way, really. I need to do this because I’m fascinated with octopi and have some in my bathroom.
