Hi, This video helped as I am going to buy a road bike and have the vivoactive already, how important is knowing power output? It is important enough to buy a garmin device that allows for it to be recorded? Thank you.
Hi DC,I have just got the Edge 810 for the holiday. My question is I already have the ride sense ant + for my bike and I would like to have an heart rate monitor also. I do allot of running also what kind of watch do you subject I buy. My budget is approx. 200-400 $.Thanks
+Carl Surprenant Given your existing ANT+ sensors, I'd stick with a Garmin device. You could look at the Vivoactive, which is in the $160-$190 range these days - so a solid deal.
Just did a ride using a Giant Ant+ cadence speed sensor connected to my vivoactive. When i finished the ride the cadence data does not show up in the mobile or computer app. Have you had any problems with this?
I have the cadence sensor that goes on the pedal but when I try to use the Indoor APP , cadence is not showed Any Clue? I'm using another app for it but I want to use GARMIN (I have a Vivo Active)
Can I assume that this will work for all ANT+ enabled bikes like the Schwinn bikes? I'm also guessing that once the activity is started on the vivoactive it will record both the speed/cadence information and the heart rate information from the chest strap?
thanks for the precisions about the indoor biking specially with the Giant Ridesense ! Nice tip !
Hello! I can't seem to find the watch mount you use. Can you please give a little more detail on that? Thank you!
Why do you have so many computers?
Nice!!!
Thank you, I have the Active watch, Just didn't know what to buy to train indoor and see my work.
Thankx.
can you please make more videos about this watch, and which one do you suggest the vivoactive or finex 3?
what can I use with my Garmin vivoactive and my spinning bike at home? Any ideas?

wow
Do you have Garmin GSC-10 speed / cadence sensor installed with Garmin Vivoactive?
Does it tell you speed if you are outdoors and don't have the ANT+ Sensors?
Andrew Ricci yes it does.

But what is the wheel size?
Hello, have you tried pairing ANT+ with a vivoactive HR? I can't get my vivoactive HR to find the ridesense sensor.
Yup, no issues there for me. Maybe double-check the battery on the sensor?
Oh so I had to actually spin my back wheel, activating the sensor, and then my vivoactive hr could find it. Weird!
How many metrics can you have on the screen at one time without scrolling? Thanks!
Three data fields per page.
Interesting. Hopefully they will release a firmware that is able to display more (spoiled by my edge 500). Thanks again!
