great build but WTF is every build you do is with the most expensive sram groupsets. is the Indiana consumers $$$$. good news shimano 1x wireless xt/xtr is coming out in spring with lower prices and non proprietary chain/cassette/chainrings. hope you can do a build .
"what do you mean? its a bike, you ride it" Chase truly the voice of the viewer in this.
Chase is always speaking truths and it annoys the hell out of these dudes!😂
Please do a review video on this once you get some miles in. Specifically curious if the long chainstays and boost spacing make it feel sluggish.
Just got mine built up... only about 300 miles in but it feels very fast for what it is... I enjoy the boost spacing Q factor (personal preference) and the chainstay length hasn't really been noticeable in any way? I'm running a 10x52 / 46 which I think I'd swap down to a 38 if I lived around hills. Geo makes it 'feel' faster than it really is but it just comes down to tire choice imo... I'm on paved 90% to get to single track so I take the hit on paved and run 55s to have a better time on the trails.
It's a big bike. Standover/height is pretty insane but feels awesome while riding. Had to be very specific about the dropper (i'm a weirdo and want droppers on all bikes)
Sick build came out clean. Looks fast !
Ed is the man!
They’re actually based in Dexter which is not far outside of Ann Arbor in the lower peninsula. Thinking about checking them out when I decide to go titanium in the future for bike packing.
Great vid as always guys!
lol my bad. I don’t know why I thought UP.
It will be interesting to hear feedback on the ride quality of a titanium bike. It seems to me that modern carbon frames can do everything better and faster, especially since they are quite easy to repair
If you want a fantastic West Virginia bikepack loop that can be done over a weekend (100 miles), check out the route called, Canaan Valley and the Forks of Cheat. It has the route you can put on your bike computer.
That bike is ideal for the route if you put 2.1 inch tires on it with medium knobs for traction such as Mezcals.
Nice rig👍👍👍👍
Are those the zipp xplr carbon bars? If so what are your thoughts on em? Cool build, always was curious about the brand and bike. Nice to see one built up.
Just like Alex on GCN that have a box full of Dura-ace cranks, Jesse have a sh*t ton of high end sram parts just laying around haha
Drop-bar Mtb is the way to go😎
I like Ti bikes
Dirty water route on thast bike!
That looks like aliexpress Tiris bike frame ive been looking at😂
The fat tires bring up the top tube a bit.
I get it that Sram red is cool and works well.... Any chance to do some builds with even force or Rival and what thoughts are on those? Red Lever sets go for close to $1200 by themselves. In todays landscape budget builds and parts are important and I feel a lot of new cyclist get turned off by the "need to have the best" mentality. Im guilty of it myself and want to see other options I guess 🤷♂. Otherwise love the builds and content you guys put up here and keep up the good work!!
100%, basically just waiting for the new stuff to drop. Full disclosure we don't buy a new red group every video and until the force is out we are just gonna keep reusing what we have. Honestly I wouldn't of built this with red had the option been available.
Ride that BJ outside...that weather is perfect!! Even on the street!. Would love to see the Ti Fork and a comparison. The BJ is on my target list!
"made in Asia" the nice way you say made in CHINA
Being beardless does not make you more aero fyi. 👀
