Yes, and our Lely man told us, others go more often to avoid boredome. It's always a long day producing milk. So the electronic supervision as well provides with profound data in their individual charakters; they are all diffrent - 'a stable hord is a perfect blend of most all characters' - just like with us.
Back in 2005 in holland i went to a dairy farm when my mom took us to europe. The dude wore clogs, no joke, blastes handrolled ciggies 24/7 and looks like he was in a hair metal band in the 80s. Skinny long hair. But yeah, the cows had an auto milker; not this advanced, but the cow would cruise in, it would detect the teats and suck. Was cool
I just watched a commercial that ends with the speaker saying: ”the natural way to milk”. The commercial is for a fully automated milk robot. Which planet do you guys come from?
In terms of cost and working time I've heard it isn't a big improvement, as the machine needs to be worked on alot and you pay extremely for these machines.. It's definitely the future and here in south america these machines are appearing every year
The vegan teacher is always talking about people stealing the milk from the cows. It's not stealing if they give us the milk. I really want to tag her in this video 🤣.
@@erichgroth8947 I'm guessing mastitis one of the things their milk monitor is looking for? Probably a mixture of color, opacity density, and flow rate. If they're using cameras instead of just photodiodes, they might be able to look for clumps showing up too. I find it kind of funny they kept referring to manure as dirt. I still remember getting a boot stuck in the gutter cleaner as a six year old and my dad pulling me out. All I can say is the technology's come a long way from the centralized pneumatic pumps my grandparents used for a number of years. It's weird seeing how much it's all changed. I haven't heard of many sub-200 cow operations for a couple years now.

idk if u can get milking robots, but you can get rotaries we have a goat farm in BC of 1600 goats and we have a double 36 parallel parlor. It takes 1.5 hour to milk 600 goats
I milked cows for 11 years starting in 84, and seeing this system I was mind blown lol, I'm super impressed with it, very cool!
I got this ad years ago, somehow it popped up in my recommendations. I don't even have cows or farm, but this is what the algorithm says I like
I like the idea of the cow being voluntarily milked by the machine when it wants to. Here's hoping this goes far!
Some cows wont go to it for a while, twice a day at our farm we collect these cows and pen them up behind the robot until they all get milked.

Outstanding Video. Enjoyed it very much. The narrator euro-english was easy to understand. That's important for me here in the USA.
wow, this is revolutionary for cows all across the globe. thank you lely! the cows will be grateful!
:)
Had 4 of these sitting outside my parlor today! Super stoked!🐄
And how are they working out for you??
We are on our fourth day using the robots and it's going so amazing! You'd have to see it.
@@gailcook9238 That’s awesome. How many cows do you guys milk?

Watching so that I get back on to milking tube for my adverts 🐮🐮🐮
All dairy farms should have this as standard.
I'm sure cows would be a lot happier with this.
For most farms, it's just not financially feasible for them to invest in such an expensive machine
Expensive, here in norway where most farms cant have much more than 10 cows it wont work
If you willing to pay for it. Very expensive machine and I’ve heard it goes through a lot of repairs.
They forgot the most important advantage.....
The dairy farmer gets to sleep in in the morning
👍
I was so confused about why I got this ad that I needed to track down the video.
Exactly what happened to me lol
Can't believe how high tec we are now on milking.
