Thanks sooo much Riccardo for putting together this video. It means the world to us. Love your examples. The first one was very fun and took us by surprise too and we know what our little boy can do :) Keep up the incredible work. Take care, Michele and the Instamic Team
my favorite as well. I have two, but I plan on buying more later this year. Very reliable so far, excellent 32-bit float sound quality, and so easy to put on. It's good not to have cables and lavaliers to mess around with, and not to have worry about loss of signal. p.s. the black and white video is sooooo good, Riccardo!
@@cinematic-studio fx3 with 28mm viltrox (first time I use this lens) the colors of my beautiful face was a custom grade, the wedding videos are with my luts 👌
Ciao Riccardo! Grazie mille per il video! Davvero utile, come sempre! Al momento hanno solo il Mono disponibile, lo Stereo è sold out. Secondo te, va bene lo stesso?
Woow. I have never met this mic before. It looks / sounds amazing. I guess I'll give it a try. Let me a practical question: do you take the mic under the suit? Or the mic is on the suit's surface and the magnet is inside? Thanks!
How do you mic the bride with it? Is it not too bulky to place in the dress? I’ve just ordered the Tascam DR-10L in white for the bride, but it can be complicated to place it in the dress, especially depending on the dress design, the leg strap, or the heat of the day. I’m wondering if I should have gone with the Instamic instead.
To be honest, I rarely put the microphone on the bride; it’s happened maybe once or twice so far. I get the bride’s vows directly from the groom’s microphone
Ciao Riccardo! I bought 3 of those after I saw one of your old video. I have two of them as present to 2 close friends of mine. I have a question for you! 99% of the time I use to put mine in the inside pocket of the groom helping whoever is shooting the wedding video to have a better sound, but lately I found that a lot of crackling noise coming from the rub of the fabric. Is this also happening to you and then you clean the track in some way with plugins?
Hi man, i am putting the mic in the pocket of the jacket with the mic inside and never had big noises. I think that could happened when the fabric is super light and the mic is moving a lot
Hello Riccardo!! Hope you re doing well! We discussed about this in Athens in global filmmaking fest and you were the reason why I chose them! They are great! But I am trying to completely understand the app! I can never choose the 32bit float mode! Why is that?
@@RiccardoFasoli Well but the clothes themselves are always moving against each other and the body, aren't they? Usually when mics are mounted inside clothes they are protected by moleskin or some sort of soft enclosure. Also, I have observed that placing a mic inside clothes, or even just under a collar will muffle the sound quite a bit.
@@UnknownUser-pf9rk If the microphone were loose, it would rub and you would hear the sound of the fabric. But since it's practically fixed and doesn't move, it doesn't produce any noise. At least, in all these years, I haven't had any major problems to deal with.
@@RiccardoFasoli Ohhhh, okay... got it! I thought maybe there was an English word I wasn't aware of and Googled it hoping I might learn something new 😆 Thanks!

Hello Riccardo! Thank you for sharing. I have a question using the mic under the clothes. There’s not a noise?

Great to hear and watch how to master the audio of FCP!
Hello Ricardo, great video. Tell me something, doesn't the instamic pick up a lot more ambient sound than a regular lavalier? Thanks in advance.
Hi Man, not at all, maybe just a little bit more then a lav but is an easy fix
hi, great video, but can you share what camera and lenses this was taken with? I really like the colors

I put always the magnet outside and the mic inside
Do you have a case for them that you like?

How is there no rustling or muffled sound when it's UNDER the shirt/suit?
