Well I have a lot of sprites done, but that's about it... very slow going. If you know anyone interested in doing some programming to get this thing moving along let me k now!
Well there's the rub: I'm not real into programming. I would be if I knew how to do it real well, but I don't wanna take the time to learn. I was for a while, but it was such a slow process. I get obsessed with things and learn all I can about them, but found that difficult with coding. If I could find a programmer I would work on it again. I do have the basic story more or less fleshed out.
What about your brother? If you have sprites, you can ask for a programmer on forums. Did you imagine a plot? Or if you have no specific idea you can post your sprites on Spriters Resource for example (or Metroid Fan Mission) and people will start using your sprites for their game (crediting you, of course).
Maybe you could make an engine until you get done with the story! Why did you chose this name "Metroid Ephesus"? I am too making a game and have trouble finding time to finish it, but when I do I could maybe help you. Still, it's not soon...
