Just love your videos, the sounds and comments during the ride just make it so real. You are really making me wish it was spring time up here in Canada 🇨🇦. Keep up the great work. Cheers
I'm a fairly new subscriber, absolutely love the vids and personality. I've ridden a downhill bike for as long as I can remember, recently sold it due to financial issues but trying to get back on track. Your videos make me want to get back on the trail (with a trail bike this time) and pedal my little heart out hahah! Always waiting for the next upload, thank you for providing us with views of these phenomenal trails!
I don't know why, but I particularly liked seeing you skid off the trail and miss turns. Made me LOL. And yes, you are superbly disciplined with your video release schedule. It's one of those things that makes a UA-cam channel work.
always neat to see someone ride an area that one frequents, only to see him riding trails that you never knew existed. Definitely gotta get back there now and actually ride some trails
So what do you have for us today, Mr. Kennedy? Oh, and in regards to the title of this video, yes I have. Yes, I have. Not only does he wear pink, but his bike is nicely decorated with it. I've been known to wear pink from time to time. It's a very manly color. 0:25 - Starting the comments off early with this one. A nice climb, indeed. This is how all of my rides up my favorite local trail start. 0:35 - Haha! "Rider up!" That don't look like no rider I've ever seen. 😉 0:41 - Look at that, he let you pass! 😂 1:46 - I don't know if anyone realizes this, but the recording of the videos isn't what takes all the time. Recording is the easy part. Editing takes forever. Having to wade through all the footage you took (and on YOUR rides, I can only imagine how many hours you need to look through to get the nuggets) and then put it together in a compelling and entertaining way, adding music and potential sound effects, etc. Not to mention time to render the final version and the upload time. 3:52 - I can't get over how funny and crude sounding MTB terms are. "Should have lubed up"..."Grinding away back there"..."So tight"...I know, my mind's in the gutter. 4:23 - And...cue tree! 8:08 - I hate when that happens. Staying on the trail seems to be an issue for me, lately. 10:10 - Wow, that parking lot huge! Looks like a great place for a NICA event. Too bad it's in Canada. Well this is DEFINITELY a better trail (in my mind) than the one you rode for your previous video. Even with the sliding around you did, I feel like I could have handled this one well enough. I liked this one way better. I know you made it home safely, obviously since you're editing and uploading. Thanks for bringing us along on this adventure. Looks like you met up with some really good people. Until next time, stay upright and keep the rubber side down. -Brian
The Razor's vid and this one are so weird for me, pretty much all the trails you ride are way too far away for me to get to, and then all of a sudden you're out on my home trails... I'm glad they count as some of the best in the world.
Got to ride Braggin Rights and Merlin's View earlier this summer both are really fun trails. Next trip up there I'll have to do your route it looked awesome also, love West Bragg.
I love your videos! Especially your product reviews, there is no bullshit marketing involved! I just saw the demo video of the Hero6 and they claim to have "gimbal-like" image stabilization. Would be sweet if you did a comparison as soon as you get your hands on one!
I try not to ever let people who are faster than mean "mentally defeat" me. Instead, I look at them as a goal to reach! Remember there is always someone out there better than you and you are better than someone else! Positive mental attitude!
Next time you hit up alberta you should head to Cyprus hills and redcliff on the way home. Pritty decent single track hear Brian. Thanks vid was great.
I have no idea how you keep up with your 3 videos per week schedule, I struggle to edit fast enough for the 1 per week schedule, but I'm also happy to say I've managed to not skip any yet. Great vid as usual, these Canada videos have been awesome!
Thanks man! A lot more to come, unfortunately the whole Irma / FL situation took a toll on filming in state so content is gonna be more out of state stuff until we've managed to get our trails back in order.
Hey Brian, it sounds like you have had a lot of trips lined up in a row lately, but have you thought out trying to hit up some trails on your driving days to and from home to where you are going? I’m sure you could’ve hit up some trails in Montana, Wyoming, Utah, etc on your way back from Alberta.
It's a trick! It's not the pink! Its the lack of backpack/hidden fanny pack that gives Aric away! You'll see those guys in Moab when its 105 degrees and its the same exact story.
Your videos inspired me to go to my local trails that are probably an 1/8th of a mile long, and originally had one trail only, and start to clear them out and ride them! I have 2 trails cleared out now, one for speed and one with some technical riding, but I'm definitely working on more! Thanks!
Awesome videos man! I was waiting to finally see them after I saw on Instagram you were in town. Glad you enjoyed the local trails, and hope to see you out here again!
Dont want to blow sunshine up your butt....I have watched a TON of your videos and you should be pretty damn happy with your progression man. Honestly, you are a different rider altogether from your early videos. Great video from my old stomping grounds. Love the Canadian content!!!
Hey Brian, do you have any issue’s with front grip? What psi do you run? Playing with tire pressure at the moment due to no confidence in the front wheel.
OH Western CANADA EH !! West Bragg & K-country, yup my backyard trails have been immortalized by the BKXC. I be ridin around with a puffy chest now..lol Nobody say anything about Moose Mtn . We cannot have Brian coming back and giving away our Big secret.....
One other comment I had, do you notice a difference in the approach we have as mountain bikers as adults versus when we were kids? When we were kids, our concern was just to go out and have fun. It wasn't (consciously) about improving our skills. Now, that's all I seem to think about. Weird, yes? As a kid, when someone said "let's go ride bikes" it was just a matter of grabbing your bike and going. Now, I have to suit up, get my helmet on, put on my water pack, make sure I've got extra food. Now that I'm recording, I want to make sure I've got my video gear. It takes me 30 minutes to get ready to go for a ride!
Trail was kinda loose, nice couple of saves, not crashes. Nice job! Love the song, hilarious. I have to wait until summer 2019 to get back on the bike, doctor's instructions, bummer. But love watching your vid.s. Thank you.
Awesome as always! BTW, regarding your front end "push" issues, have you thought about softening your forks compression? Or possibly making the rear shock stiffer? Just some thoughts!
The BKXC Special... front washed out... is funny every time you say it! Your cornering is getting faster you might loose the front wash out rights after all! Cheers Brian 👍
Great ride Brian. lots of close encounters with those pesky trees got a watch out for them. six weeks ago broke my rib in front of my chest after swiping the tree and going down not much fun at all.
I've been living in Montreal for 22 years and I've seen only one snake Funny thing I went riding with my gf last Sunday we saw 3!!! Man is that scary. Bro your videos are the best 97k wow
Great riding with you Brian! I think the only reason we seemed to be climbing quickly was because you'd just finished a mega-week of riding in Revelstoke!
Don't feel bad. That's the difference between a trail you know and one you don't. I drop my father in law in Grand Rapids. But in Indiana, he kicks my ass.
Looked like a blast weaving thru those trees singing "strange magic" lol. Why get discouraged by locals who've ridden the trails dozens of times? It would be sad if they weren't much better .
Heh, seemed like you were having one of those off days where start to get frustrated then get even worse. I ride 800mm bars, which is really comfortable for me, but the rare times I ride really tight stuff, especially unfamiliar tight stuff, they can definitely become a hindrance.
So after your trip up to Canada. What was you favourite location? What was your favourite trail? They don't have to from the same location. Thanks and love the vids.
Love your work BK! Hope you don't mind my asking a question. I'll be staying in Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper in July and I'd like to take a day to go MTBing. I'm not sure how much of that immediate area you've ridden, but I'd love you opinion on what's the one area you'd recommend over any other. On Trailforks, it seems the most convenient would be in Banff/Canmore area and Jasper area. However, I also see an area called Golden that's about an hour away from Lake Louise. I might want to hire a guide also sow elcome recommendations there too. THANK YOU!!!

You know it’s a rattlesnake when you start pedaling but still hear freehubsound
Hahaha nice
Just love your videos, the sounds and comments during the ride just make it so real. You are really making me wish it was spring time up here in Canada 🇨🇦. Keep up the great work. Cheers
Thanks so much man! Canada was so damn fun!
I like how all the trees along the trail have handlebar strike strips lol
Haha they've been through the wringer!
Seems like any time a dude is wearing pink lycra, he's super fast. ..... That settles it, wearing pink jerseys from here on out! lol
it's like white stripes on a car ;-)
Haha, add 50 watts of power!
Omg! I’d wear pink Lycra to the office for an extra 50 watts! Lol

Totally stoked that you came up to ride BC and Alberta. How your share your passion to ride is awesome and inspiring.
Glad you got a kick out of it!
always neat to see someone ride an area that one frequents, only to see him riding trails that you never knew existed. Definitely gotta get back there now and actually ride some trails
Haha that's great!
Nice vid Brian. Welcome back home! Those trails look fun up there
It was a fun finish to the Canada trip!
I think what sets you apart from the other youtubers is your professionalism, and it shows in how consistent you are with uploads.
Thanks so much! I dig the new avatar!
That Ranger Summit climb can be a lung buster haha.
RELENTLESS!
Adding it to my bucket list! Awesome trail!
Nice!
Dude, the air valve cap is missing! Put a BKXC sticker on it :D Awesome video as usual! Spain will be awesome too!
It's been gone for a few videos! Haha a sticker might be perfect!

Thank YOU Brian! It was such a fun Canadian adventure!
The Razor's vid and this one are so weird for me, pretty much all the trails you ride are way too far away for me to get to, and then all of a sudden you're out on my home trails... I'm glad they count as some of the best in the world.
That's awesome!! You never know where I'll ride next!
Usually the guy in pink is going to be the one to whip ya. These trails have been great.
Craig Purnell there's and unwritten rule in 2-wheeled sports! "If you're gonna wear pink, you'd better be fast!!!"
Haha it's a rule!!
Got to ride Braggin Rights and Merlin's View earlier this summer both are really fun trails. Next trip up there I'll have to do your route it looked awesome also, love West Bragg.
Nice!!
I set my clock to Brian's upload schedule. I tune my guitar to his singing.
Hahahahahaha yes!

I just saw the demo video of the Hero6 and they claim to have "gimbal-like" image stabilization. Would be sweet if you did a comparison as soon as you get your hands on one!
I think the sound still sucks, so I don't think I'll be buying one!
0:30 Holy crap thought it was a black bear.
Hahaha
You would have been lucky if it was a black bear.....Usually grizzly in the Rocky mtns
I try not to ever let people who are faster than mean "mentally defeat" me. Instead, I look at them as a goal to reach! Remember there is always someone out there better than you and you are better than someone else! Positive mental attitude!

Nice! Always more to add to the list
Ah strange brew! No merlin view?!

You nearly got close and personal with thoughts trees nice trail.
I'll have to buy them dinner next time!
Good luck with that, after running full speed in to them!!! he he!

Continuing to provide me awesome entertainment Brian! Vicarious living! Keep em coming!
Thanks so much Hollis!
What biking genre would this be considered? XC, Enduro? I would extremely appreciate a REPLY!😀
I guess XC, it's all mountain biking
@@bkxc thank you!
Of course I would if I had time! I had 10 videos to edit at this point which is about 2 weeks of work ahead of me, had to get back!
Yeah totally makes sense!
Que buena ruta me encantan tus vídeos
I'm sure there are 200 other comments about this...but I'm too lazy to look. I saw your thumbs on top of the bars!!! I thought that guy was gone? LOL
When I'm tired enough it all goes out the windows!
Hay días buenos y días no tan buenos!! Un abrazo fuerte desde Colombia!!
It looks like you need some front brake confidence. Maybe a stoppie practice day ? Would also save a lot of trail builders some work ;)
Sounds about right!
I like the swoopy stuff in the trees. It looks like your bars made it through. Are they 160mm?
800mm, an axe handle wide!
you almost hugged a tree 2 and could have started a new channel called rawhide mtb just like the tv show raw hide back in the 60s behind that cow
Hahahaha yes
Righteous!
😁👍
Yooo, so sick to see you in my part of the neighbourhood!
Awesome!! It was a good time
Next time we'll have to get you ripping down Moose Mountain.
Definitely!!
"That'll get your balls tinglin." haha
Haha yes it will
It's a trick! It's not the pink! Its the lack of backpack/hidden fanny pack that gives Aric away! You'll see those guys in Moab when its 105 degrees and its the same exact story.
Hahaha yes!
Another great video brother! You're sniffin' 100k, and I can say "I knew you when"! This ride had me and the wife literally LOLing several times.
Haha I really love hearing that Coach!
That trail has a few surprises. Don't blink!
Big time!
did you ride with MTByumyum recently? i thought i saw the vid but didnt get to watch it, now cant find it anywhere :(
Yes, he did a little instagram story about it. It'll be a long time before my video comes out
Your videos inspired me to go to my local trails that are probably an 1/8th of a mile long, and originally had one trail only, and start to clear them out and ride them! I have 2 trails cleared out now, one for speed and one with some technical riding, but I'm definitely working on more! Thanks!
That's awesome dude!
i miss lone wolf bike testing :)
Maybe I'll do another one eventually!
Glad u loved our trails. Laura is awesome.
It was a grand ole time!
Great flow trails to end the epic BC Alberta trip. The pink flash left you in the dust lol . Nice speed non the less
Hahaha "the pink flash" love it!
Weaving in & out of them trees looks mental, enjoyed that vid, I'm itching to get out now lol.
Get out there!!
Dammit! Now I'll be singing strange magic all day! Thanks, Brian...
Hahaha me too now!
Awesome videos man! I was waiting to finally see them after I saw on Instagram you were in town. Glad you enjoyed the local trails, and hope to see you out here again!

I appreciate the sunshine when I can get it Lee!!
How do you not have a bell on your bike? Very disappointing.
lol at the slides and ventures of the trails after your comment about front wheel sliding.
Haha it almost got me bad!
Hey Brian, do you have any issue’s with front grip? What psi do you run? Playing with tire pressure at the moment due to no confidence in the front wheel.
Maybe I should of watched all the video before making above comment 👍🏻
Haha it's all good! I've found I need to get my weight further forward in general
Yes sound advice a few people have told me that now, cheers Brian.
OH Western CANADA EH !! West Bragg & K-country, yup my backyard trails have been immortalized by the BKXC. I be ridin around with a puffy chest now..lol Nobody say anything about Moose Mtn . We cannot have Brian coming back and giving away our Big secret.....

Haha, noticed from your videos that you love to sing when riding on the trail.
Haha yep!

Love the song, hilarious.
I have to wait until summer 2019 to get back on the bike, doctor's instructions, bummer.
But love watching your vid.s.
Thank you.
Ahh, sad news but it could be oh so worse!
Tight trees everywhere! Always freaks me out. That's a lot of driving. Ugh, I couldn't handle it..well I should say my back couldn't handle it.
Yeah, the driving has not been too bad with the RAV4. I'm digging it!
Awesome as always! BTW, regarding your front end "push" issues, have you thought about softening your forks compression? Or possibly making the rear shock stiffer? Just some thoughts!
The suspension has been feeling really good on the rough stuff right now so I'll leave it be for now. I think I just need to slow down on flat turns!
Chainsaw country. Trees Far to close to the trail. You wouldn’t want to body slam one. Another great video. 👍
So damn close!! Thanks Paul
I love that trail! And now I'm gonna have to see if they have strange magic on UA-cam, if not I'm going to have a strange magic list on Pandora
Hahaha yes!
The BKXC Special... front washed out... is funny every time you say it! Your cornering is getting faster you might loose the front wash out rights after all! Cheers Brian 👍
Trying my damnedest!!
Great ride Brian. lots of close encounters with those pesky trees got a watch out for them. six weeks ago broke my rib in front of my chest after swiping the tree and going down not much fun at all.
Ah brutal!! Wide bars are tree magnets!
Hey Brian, are you still running the dvo suspension?
Nah, it's been a few months without it!
I've been living in Montreal for 22 years and I've seen only one snake Funny thing I went riding with my gf last Sunday we saw 3!!! Man is that scary. Bro your videos are the best 97k wow

Ye ol' wheel wash out. LOAD DA FRONT as Cedric says. Great videos from the Great White North!!
Haha nice!
So after your trip up to Canada. What was you favourite location? What was your favourite trail? They don't have to from the same location. Thanks and love the vids.
I think Mt Cartier was #1
Late for work another day, just had to watch. It was worth it.
Hahaha thanks dude
Those trees around "4:30" where so close together. Holy smokes! Those two you rode with are mountain goats. So fast on the climbs. Fantastic video!
Those trees were diabolical!!
Now that's something that you don't see everyday moo!!! I'm used to Kamikaze Chipmunks..
Hahaha nice!
Basically my back yard dude! Love the fact you travel around the world riding the best trails and Bragg Creek made the cut!
It was a good time for sure!
Nice video man / what hard tail bike do u recommend for $850 or less. Australia
Thanks / Don't know anything about hardtails my man!

Got a chuckle at 8:31 - lemme go this way (EVERY rider has been that guy/gal). All in the fun of 2 wheels.
Hahaha, yep!

Haha, damn pinkos!

I rock a pink helmet and gloves and, I guess I have kicked my own butt.
Hahaha love it
its kind of a rule that if you wear pink you have to be a badass
Haha yep
This looks more like the trails in my town. They are longer in the video but all the tree roots and random turns just after you get up to speed almost becomes more frustrating than fun. I guess some trails are just meant to be enjoyed at a slower pace.
Totally!
If you ever get tired of riding your bike, you should definitely consider a singing career... :-P
Hahahaha
You might as well come and live in Canada, Brian. Great to see those Canadian trails.
I know, it's so dang nice!
"That will get your balls tingling". Wtf bahahahahaha 😂😂😂. Too funny.
It will!
I bet you guys are so focused on the trail that you sometimes do t even notice the scenery in till you watch the video. awesome scenery in all y'alls vids.
Definitely!
Glad to see you ride faster on smooth stuff! BTW this one line which was super tight has to be renamed to "Lumberjack" :)
Getting better!!
@bkxc Thanks for featuring my Insta! You da man!
Thanks for tagging me!
Finally had a animal on the trail. Maybe next time it can be a bear. Safe travels to Spain!
Hahaha yep, just a durn cow!
4:50 Machine
On my phone and can't look this one up but I'm guessing it was a good section!
9:00 coming in hot look out. You could see all the nicks in the bark from handle bars in the tight tree section. Great riding on a fun trail.
Hahaha yep, not their first rodeo!
Beautiful Ride, little sketchy in some spots. Thanks Brian.
Thanks dude! Glad I could make it out without sliding out!
bk, if u noticed Canadians are well organized in their infrastructure when u pointed out the trail post
Big time organized! Impressive
Awesome vids ... but curious how firm do you run your suspension and tire pressure ... all your vids have that plink/plink sound.
See you on the trail someday Bro , you're an inspiration dude , thanks so much for turning people's life around man we appreciate it from the heart 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏👏👏🌵🌲🌳. Still think that Ibis should have given you you the bike dude haha 😂
Haha thanks so much Paul!!

Another awesome ride. Glad you came out in one piece with all those trees. Threw in a little ELO in there too lol!
Haha thanks man, gotta love the ELO
Shouldn't have stopped in Missoula! Great video as always!
Thanks Chase!
