The Bear and the Nightingale was a fun read, definitely suitable for winter! It's a lot of world-building and mythology, and I really enjoyed the writing itself. Feels kind of like a prequel but in a good way!!
Love this, so cozy! The Ogress and The Orphans sounds so fun! Also definitely want to read Death at Morning House. And Bringing Down the Duke is on my TBR cart and I can’t wait to read it 😊 Some books I’ve bought recently (all from used bookstores) include You Again, Pretty Girls, The Last Time I Lied, Garden Spells, The Berry Pickers, Severance, The Guncle, Ninth House, The Secret History, and probably others I’m forgetting haha
I LOVED That's Not My Name by Megan Lally. Even though this is her debut novel, she has become an instant buy author because of how much I enjoyed the book and her writing style. I'm excited to see how her next book goes
I would rather have paperback books. I think holding hardbacks is awkward. I just bought the first 2 books in the Souls Trilogy. I will be grabbing the 3rd one on Friday. 🍂
Yesterday I bought 3 books so now my physical tbr is up to 10 books woopsies. I bought It Only Happens In The Movies by Holly Bourne, Welcome To The Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-Reum and The Cinnamon Bun Book Store by Laurie Gilmore
So glad to hear you mention Anatomy! I haven't heard anyone talk about it, but i read it yesterday and I actually enjoyed it a lot. (I'm a medical student so that's probably part of it.. anywho) I would love to hear your thoughts on it if you get around to reading it. Also I read one of Ashley Poston's backlist today, Amongst the Beast and the Briars and I also really enjoyed it, and I think you would to. Definitely a fall read in my opinion. It's fantasy not magical realism though. One last book rec and then I'll shut up lol a series I won't shut up about is The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. And based on your channel I think you'd like it a lot. It deserves so much more attention than it gets. You're amazing Faith. Thanks for always making me smile!
I just got three books from a little free library Dreamcatcher by Stephen King A winters promise and the missing of clairdelune by Christelle Dabos! All of which sound interesting!
I did too but ended up really enjoying it! Sometimes reading different types of reviews help me make a decision or just going into it with no expectations helps😂
Love this little vlog!! 🤩Have you read Tilly in technicolor? it's a romance between a girl who has ADHD and a guy who has autism. Loved it with all my heart! It's short, really sweet and funny. I felt so seen 💌
A little advice? Make your thumbnail, less cluttered more clean. And the music in the background, a little less in volume and something with a wide lighter sound signature, less bass heavy bits like lofi , it helps in concentrating in the video.
Started reading Finley Donovan because of you! Just finished the first book and I'm obsessed lol

Girl, I SWEAR I’ve been wanting to get into middle grade fantasy because the covers are just too cute and the stories are so wholesome🥹
that cover of stalking Jack the Ripper is amazing I love it!!
How fun! My TBR is stupid big, but I know I’ll be participating in my city’s annual indy bookstore crawl coming up.
I love that you go to the library. They are so underrated ❤

Im newer to the world of "booktube" but i love it! Even though the genres aren't always what I'm into, it also gets me excited to read some more!
fall IS a mindset 🙈🍂🍄🤎I want to read Bringing Down the Duke too, I've heard really good things about it!

2:40 Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop is a Korean translation :) I've read and loved it, hope you do, too, if you pick it up in the future!

I heard mixed reviews about stalking Jack the ripper so I am confused if I should read it or not
I did too but ended up really enjoying it! Sometimes reading different types of reviews help me make a decision or just going into it with no expectations helps😂
I just thrifted 218 books and spent 30 for my book giveway at work
