This is far from rock and I don't even think she could pull it off. She's amazing at what she's doing and I personally hope she stays out of rock. She did some soft pop rock songs in the past and those were amazing, but harder music is way too far from what she's doing

I've been blessed to have seen approximately 100+ stadium shows for over 40 years. The Who, David Bowie, Genesis, U2, Madonna, The Rolling Stones and more. Let's say I've some experience with them. Very few bands or performers can connect with 50000+ fans, making them feel like they're in a small venue. Taylor is one of them.

I’m not a Swifty but I have to acknowledge that she has amazing talent. I’ve seen most of the greatest bands from the late sixties and seventy’s on stage, but there’s no way I would pay the prices Taylor’s tickets are going for.
We are spoiled that we got to see the greats for nominal prices, and now the only way musicians can make money is through inflated concert tickets. It's really sad.

@@a.johnson1860 Those are scalper prices. Her face-value Eras tickets actually started at $49 (provided one survived the Ticketmaster debacle). Even if they're nosebleeds, helluva 3 1/2 hour concert at that price. Other countries that prosecute scalpers don't have this problem.

If they allow it the publishers push the prices to meet maximum return on investment. There are simply too many 3rd party stakeholders who have a hand in the money bucket when people with integrity would have told them they had no business transforming the arts into "entertainment" to make money. Art can be entertaining as is, if "we" refers to the older generation i'm sure you are the ones who pay the ticket prices for their children to support this fucked economy.
I want to be be supportive for the arts, but god damn-it what you are saying is marketing propaganda and as long as we buy into it the arts will walk a thinning line until it fades out. Making a living was never easy in this industry, but the money shouldn't be funneled to pop acts so stakeholders can get a cut under the premise that WE were lucky. I'm sorry but fuck off, and that's to anyone who surrenders to your ideology. That's so fucking wrong, go support the local scene, there are crazy talented people walking among us. That 1000+ dollar/euro ticket could support so many people for so much longer....

@@tristantristan4733 They’d be using a digital wireless instrument rack unit that would also have a body pack/ transmitter not a mic but it doesn’t matter because shes not actually playing what you’re hearing. None of what she’s doing lines up with anything you’re hearing. She’s only hitting half the required strings in the intro and isn’t palm muting or playing the right chords in the rest of the song. Just don’t speak in the future.

I love the 1989 world tour especially in Sydney Australia the audience there was fabulous. I love the songs I love Taylor‘s singing her dancers Taylor‘s backup singers her outfits. @@helpfulcommenter I’m well aware of how long she’s been touring. I’ve been to most of them. I’m saying she wasn’t near as good at singing live back then. She’s improved significantly over there years. In my opinion, this is more on par with how well she sings now, compared to almost a decade ago.

I came here as an Eddie Van Halen fan am an actually impressed with her rhythm skills. She is not on Eddies level by a thousand miles but still, great effort.
