Alden always mentioned his 9 years of acting...maybe this is his first time he make a real movie directed by veteran and teach him to be a real actor ..nine is years too long ...just now that he experience this kind of movie making
He is just being humble take note of that, it is not his character to brag, he have several projects that garnered international recognitions and awards chech the road, kinabukasan (w/ nora aunor ), alaala , illustrado. Before yan na stereotype as pabebe sa Aldub, marami na yang nominations/awards, have won best drama actor, check mo yung house tour nya makikita mo dun yung mga collections nya.
Rex Del Socorro you are too defensive, no one is saying he is not a good actor but he's not on the level of great actors yet, right? All actors always learn something new on a new project w/ a great director. Listen to him at the 8:14 mark, coz other celebrities are saying he's great in this movie...he said it's all bcoz of direk cathy, he needed to have a clean slate and unlearn what he is used to do in acting. He also said he is grateful that he learned a lot of different acting techniques and the most simple scene is sometimes the hardest when directed by CGM. Actors always say they are grateful and truly blessed when they are handled by CGM, she is in a league of their own just Olivia Lamasan, as a result their movies are always blockbusters, turns into instant classic and actors win acting awards. Cgm and olivia doesn't work on just any projects, especialy if they don't like the actors to begin with that's why jadine fans hate Cgm.
After this movie he realised a lot of things about his capabilities, especially his worth as an actor. That he can be more than what he was before. That's why he was so thankful and grateful to Star Cinema and Direct Cathy.
One of the shocking scene talaga ito, it makes me tremble on my seat 😅😅😅
