We ran out of PPE and Ventilators last night we called the other 2 hospital’s in the city we were all in the same boat so they are bypassing us and sending patients to a trauma center 1hour and 45minutes which we have flown there if our trauma center can’t get the patients from a critical stage.

Grad researcher here, We give these tests to people with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's to ensure the study participant is mentally able to consent. The test is designed by researchers to ensure most people pass. I've seen even people with severe PD and cognitive impairments pass it. It's so funny to watch him spin this around.

That’s just his pattern of speech. In his mind he knows 2 things: There were 2 wars, and America “won” them. So if America has won them, that makes it a beautiful thing. His mind instantly adds that adjective: “we had 2 beautiful wars...” and then he realizes that he just said wars were beautiful. So instead of apologizing and correcting, he just slightly changes course with a couple of different but more appropriate adjectives because he still doesn’t want to let go of his logic that if America has won something then it must be awesome: otherwise why would America even bother competing? He thinks everything is like business at the end of the day, if there’s no profit to be made or prized object/achievement to be possessed, what’s the point? That some things are done for just morality’s sake or survival isn’t something he can comprehend.

The test is designed by researchers to ensure most people pass. I've seen even people with severe PD and cognitive impairments pass it. It's so funny to watch him spin this around.

That’s just his pattern of speech. In his mind he knows 2 things: There were 2 wars, and America “won” them. So if America has won them, that makes it a beautiful thing. His mind instantly adds that adjective: “we had 2 beautiful wars...” and then he realizes that he just said wars were beautiful. So instead of apologizing and correcting, he just slightly changes course with a couple of different but more appropriate adjectives because he still doesn’t want to let go of his logic that if America has won something then it must be awesome: otherwise why would America even bother competing? He thinks everything is like business at the end of the day, if there’s no profit to be made or prized object/achievement to be possessed, what’s the point? That some things are done for just morality’s sake or survival isn’t something he can comprehend.
