I love it. I also have red 392, w xtreme recon. I don't mean to be critical, but it appears discount tire did not match your side walls. These tires have 2 diff patterns, they have the less aggressive on your passenger side and your more aggressive pattern on your drivers side. I watched your other video to confirm.
@@galindosgarage that was sarcasm man 😂 you aren’t suppose to leave a vehicle on jacks In case they fail. Let alone lift an entire vehicle with them at once 😂 should have used a lift or done one at a time.
Looks fantastic with 37s and I almost decided to go that route. But I didn’t want to take away any performance from the 6.4,so I decided to go with Fuel Beast 17x9 and Nitto ridge grapplers 35s.I’m going to regear to 4.56 just like the recon package, which according to car and driver is faster then the stock 392.However if I was planning on going Offroad, I would definitely have chosen 37”s
Me going with 37s hasn’t really effected the power it still feels fast. I will be recalibrating the computer at my local dealership so that the transmission shifts properly for the 37s and that will fix the speedometer as well.
Looks fantastic!! Congrats!! Did you have to make any adjustments before adding those 37s? Any additional lift or spacing? If not, how’s it riding? Any issues?
Thanks you. I did not have to do Mods to add the 37inch tires and 20inch wheels. No additional lift the only thing I did is taking of the end caps on the front bumper.
So have you had any rubbing issues? Really curious if you were forced to get a lift or anything. Was hoping to put 37s on mine but don’t want to have to do a lift.
Only time you'll run into issues is if you articulate fully off-road and only the back will rub. The fix for this is an additional inch of bump stop pad on the rear axle. At least that's the case with the Extreme Recon package, as it comes lifted from the factory.
Hey bro i the love the stance of your jeep. this is my dream car. Hopefully I iwll be able to get it one fine day in Canada. I would really love to place one of those front pictures on my iPhone as a wallpaper... would you like to click few portraights and share? especially like the ones at @1:23
From other videos I have seen the 392 rubs on the front wheels when full left or right when on 37s. It also rubs on the top of the wheel well on the rears when fully articulated. I’ll be happy with my XtremeRecon 35s.
I think if you keep the stock wheels you will have to do more. Or it’s just the brand of the tire itself there are other videos showing it contacts barely. Or that it rubs when the rear axle is fully articulated.
@@danielmiller4354 yes your are correct. If you keep the stock wheel and go bigger tires you will rub on control arms. That’s the reason why I went with a bigger wheel with wider offset. The wheels I have our 20inc Fuel Rebel and it’s a 20x10 offset. The tires I have our 37/12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler.
Perfect. I ordered the 392 and wanted to keep the same set up as my rubicon with 38’s and 20’s. So I’m good with not getting a lift first on the 392 till later on. Nice. Method has 20” bead grips I’ll run this time instead of fuels.
No lift planning on doing a 1.5 teraflex spacer in the front and 1 in the rear and see how that goes. I haven’t taken it off-roading so I don’t know if it rubs.
20 inch wheels are way too big for 37s. Your tire will come off when you air down. Not to mention that the fake bead locks won't do anything to help with that! But hey, let's be real here. Your jeep will never touch rock, so you won't even have to worry about it. Have fun mall crawling!
@@oldschoolducksdf1825 My jeep may not have a V8 but at least it can kick serious ass off road. And my jeep doesn't have fake, oversized bead locks lol
@Lee Hardt Too funny! I sincerely cringed when the dude put fake 20 inch beadlocks on the thing and to top it off, he really though he could get away with 37s! Some people just aren't in the know here in the jeep community. At least they mark themselves so you can tell immediately and avoid them. They couldn't tell a tow strap from a recovery strap.
-18 offset is most popular on 20x10 and gives about 4.8" of backspacing, which is plenty. The tires will stick out past the fender flares a few inches though, as can be seen in this video.

(5x) five stars for Discount Tires' safety protocol: entire vehicles up off the ground with a floor jack under each side, ingenious!
They do a great Job

I have the exact set up for my 392. However we cannot get the fifth wheel on the rack. Did you do anything to fit the wheel on there?
Yes sir I’ll make a video and post it tomorrow. I had to get a Mopar relocation bracket for the tailgate tire carrier.
Ok thx
How were you able to get those wheels with 5 lug nut pattern? I’ve only seen 6 lug nut pattern. Can you send a link of where you bought them?

Too big for my taste and I think you’ll have clearance issues at full flex. But I wheel my Rubicon pretty hard…most don’t.

20 inch rims aka Mall Rider. Only do 17's you will destroy\pop your 37 on majority of all rocks when 4x4
