  • Unang araw sa widescreen, panghuli sa VHF channels. Pero mas kumpleto na ang malapad na panonood mula A hanggang Z!
July 1, 2024 marks the end of another era of Philippine television as Zoe Broadcasting Network Incorporated surprisingly adjusts the video format of DZOE A2Z Channel 11 to widescreen.
This aircheck contains snippets of some ABS-CBN blocktime shows, in-house program Balitang A2Z, select commercial breaks, and the sign-off habit. You can also notice that the aspect ratio switch mainly involves the playout and live inputs, but watermarks are still 4:3-formatted except Batang Quiapo.
This aspect ratio switch completes the whole set of 7 Mega Manila-based VHF channels broadcasting in 16:9 format; 4 of them are also in HD. The biggest of the switches was for GMA-7 on February 27, 2023 as it has the most extensive signal reach and biggest viewership.
A2Z was launched by Zoe TV on October 6, 2020 to bring back favorite Kapamilya programs on free television after the controversial closure of ABS-CBN broadcasting stations by the government under Duterte rule. This also follows the end of 15-year lease of channel 11 frequency by GMA.
The Jesus is Lord Church-owned channel transmits live from Antipolo and is also carried by its 5 DTT-only provincial relay stations nationwide.
This 60 FPS, WATERMARK-FREE aircheck can also be reused by other archivists, subject to "fair use" due to third-party content. Some portions may have been claimed by rights holders.
