What kills me is the constant crashing and deliberately confusing and predatory economy and challenge rewards. The fact that Agent Smith logically cannot be offered earlier than his release despite the claims otherwise is a huge red flag
They need to fix the economy
I feel like people are making a mountain out of a mole hill, the game speed is not bad at all.
It could be slightly faster and I mean slightly. Like a 5% boost to speed and I feel it would be perfect. It’s still very good though and this is coming from a rein main. Ofc there are some balancing than needs done (cough cough banana guard cough cough) but aside from that, this is pretty nice.
Servers gotta be better but i have hope it'll be better

Its... gonna die again. The gameplay is horrid. Its like a game for kids. Not tok fast yknow for little timmys brain. Beta was better at everythibg. Except the dodge mechanic. It got annoying

@@LeeoGoneWildIt did die, I was there, couldn't find matches and the only people playing were really good players who only played the game. There is even tons of articles showing how there was only 100 Players playing at the end of the beta. It definitely died long before they closed it down.
They took out a bunch of options from the beta that make the game experience, for many people, range from worse to unplayable. Awful launch, but not giving up hope yet. Hoping it gets fixed.

Bro i love this game but i cant lie there is a lot of problems but one thing ive havent seen anyone address why the lack of announcer packs bruh almost everyone had one before now its like 6 characters anyone who bought the 3 dollar BMO pack got fucked
the game is slow the characters are bigger than before which nobody asked for the camera is to close to the characters maybe thats why the characters look big but before the gameplay was much better dont know why they changed that
The local game mode pisses me off the most , WHY THE F WPULD THEY CHANGE WHATS GOOD TO BE TERRIBLE??????
I understand all the issues except for the speed they had to slow it down it would be a mess if they didn't.
The speed is too slow. I feel like im playing on the moon. The game was a mess back then cuz the character sizes relative to the speed and size of the map werent great. Now they are but they ruined it by also slowing the game down and making everything EVEN MORE FLOATY. Unplayable ngl. I remember loving playing batman. Doing quick dodge dashes for speed into a sair. Now the enemy has 3 years to realize thag im sairing and about to hit them. How unpredictable!
Theyre really only pulling because of the roster. Fortnite lookin UI as well for some reason. This shit the alpha
It wasn't a mess. If it was it wouldn't have gotten as big as it did. I guarantee you like this, the game will die in 3 months if they don't change or revert back

What dissapointed me personally was lack of ANY kind of introduction or training. You start the game, bam, main menu, good luck.
I mean there is a training mode you just have to access it differently.
The game literally started with a tutorial for me. There was a training course, dialogue and everything.

I didn’t like it at first but it started growing on me.
-But that being said the launch is an absolute mess. Many people can’t even open the game without it crashing. (Friend couldn’t even play the damn thing tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times on ps5) Game crashes all the time even if you can get into the game. -Price for a character is outrageous if you buy glemeum(vbucks). 50 dollars gets you 6 characters that as much as an entire video game. Xbox launch was horrible as well.
-All you multiversus youtubers gotta stop giving this game so much credit and call out problems. I didn’t even mention game play problems that a lot of people have.
You don't have to spend money to get the characters
Alot of that is personal problems. Most people had no issues with launch. I never crashed once and had a ton of fun. The prices are fine to me. I think characters should be a little difficult to get. That makes money for the game which we need for it to have long lifespan and it forces you to learn a character at a time.
I hate that they deleted some skins, i had a tom and jerry cowboy skin and i cant find it anywhere
Trust me play more of rift mode it gets real wacky later on

No currency or exp with friends or tournaments is kind of crazy and just best fornite got 20 dollars skins doesn’t mean it should be normalize. It outages. Also I didn’t play the beta and I mostly play with friends. Probably will never unlock many characters. Can’t even train with them before using them

Agreed. The character size and dodge mechanic is fine. But they didnt need to change speed or delete literal tech like dodge dashing for speed or increase the hit delays. The game like fucking freezes when you hit people.

I’m not a fan of the decrease in speed but I think y’all are over reacting. The server changes will be buffed out over time the speed changes I think we are the minority on.
@@techn0screamer it's not just that. All the bugs and qol changes. The limited character selection. The awful monetization. The incredible poor rift mode. Its just sad.
@@PescadorGama I played beta so I have all the characters except 2 and they have a currency to grind out for characters. The battle pass buys the next battle pass so you can’t expect the prices on premium skins to be low especially when it’s free to play, and from what I’ve heard the rift mode picks up in the later levels. Don’t be quick to judge and be honest about certain things. The game has to have funds and they essentially give you every battle pass after your first purchase. I have to disagree.

Horrible launch. Same old problems from the beta still present, lag, disconnects with no warning. Locking nodes behind skins in Rifts… it’s bad

It really sucks that there is so much muck surrounding and within the game, because at it's core in both PvP fights and in PvE I'm having a blast. PvE is great to kinda get used to the gameplay and how moves work since I haven't played since the Beta, and despite not being too great at the game I'm having fun trying characters and fighting with my favorites in PvP, both 1v1 and 2v2.
The problems however are pretty easy to see, especially if you played a bit of the beta. For starters, I don't think I have everything I had in the Beta. I could swear I had purchased a few characters like Batman or Harley, but the game doesn't remember them yet does remember a few others like Bugs and Gizmo. I could be misremembering and getting trial characters mixed up with characters I bought, I feel like I remember using the earned currency to buy characters.
I just feel like they took more out than put back in here. Training mode is so much weirder now, like it takes more effort to have it this way that it was before. The Cash shop is so predatory, with so many bundles to buy, "discounts" everywhere, stuff from the current battle pass can be found here with no warning, it's all a mess.
Again, still playing a lot and having tons of fun, but I am genuinely worried about its longevity. Hoping we see some fixes at least to the weird problems in training mode and allow us to use characters at least in practice before we pay for them. And as a little bonus, maybe give us more character gems in the Rift mode? 10 per level in ONLY the easy mode is abysmal.

They won't. I used triple jump on every character i played, and i understand why they won't.
It was already too campy, and having limited resources forces more strategic play.
The Beta was much better. This feels like a party game. There is no competitive edge in it at all

Watched some 2v2 from beta and it's hectic chaotic awful now it's much better

They only needed to increase the character size and dodge mechanics. Not increase hit delays to make it feel like the game freezes every time you hit someone
It was so much better, but i still have hope , i love the game either way and want it to grow ...BUT

But the servers are broken , 2v2 with invited friends is broken

The monitization is starting to show its predatoryness
Before you had all characters unlocked on training or local , now you need them to play local or test them on the training mode
They should at least have a refund character gems option
The rift mode is predatory , you need certain characters or PAID COSMETICS to get an extra "star"
And agent smith is not unlockable at all , the dificulty options are terrible cuz you need a certain gem lvl to unlock the next dificulty WICH IS THE EXACT SAME AS THE LAST DIFICULTY BUT A LITTLE HARDER ... thats IT
Characters are buggy , garnet down special can bug ant trap you and your opponent in the air forever
I cant fathom how many times i got kicked from a match cuz of server issues on 2v2s (its not my wifi cuz in 1v1s it works perfectly for me and my friend)
But whenever we get in a match together the game plays at 10 fps or one of us gets kicked and it happens VERY OFTEN
the game feels laggy and delayed .... and the speed imo was better before , but i do think a middle ground would be perfect , now its too slow , and before was a bit too fast

Agent Smith isn't unlockable, because he's not even in the game yet
