Hey stu, I've gotten into drone fly about two months ago and I am hooked. I've been building my tiny whoops from parts I get off of amazon to save money. I've started with a qx7 and I love it. My next step will be to get into the FPV portion. I have been using simulators to get comfortable with that. This drone would help take me to the next step and would be greatly appreciated. All I would have to order is some FPV goggles which I have been saving my pennies for. Thank you for the opportunity. Love your videos and love how you help the community.

In my local currency, it costs about $102 (US) via BG. The thing I like about the Mobula 7 is that it can grow with me because I can run it 1S to start with along with a low camera angle progressing to more aggressive flight and higher camera angles. What a great value! I really wish it had 100 mW available on the VTX.

  • @gonun69

It costs 111.13 CHF here in Switzerland for the basic version, but that's with the more expensive FRSky EU-LBT option. Cheapest option comes in at 97.88 CHF (both without coupon).
And damn I need this ASAP. Finaly a quad that you can fly outdoors in parks an other public places that you know you can't injure anybody and doesn't piss people off because it makes a huge amout of noise. This really is what I've been waiting for because I live in a city without a car so finding spots where you don't bother anybody, but that you can reach with a bicycle is really hard.

OK, for starters. Please forgive my ignorance, I've been flying a few small (expensive) drones around the yard for a couple of months and want to upgrade to something a little more challenging.
I recently bought a Turnigy Evolution Digital AFHDS 2A Radio Control System w/TGY-iA6C Receiver with the idea of buying a drone to go with it. After deciding the Mobula7 was the one I wanted. I see I have to make other choices and this is where I'm lost.
    Here are the choices:
    Basic BNF DSM2/DSMX
    Standard BNF FLYSKY
    Standard BNF FRSKY Non-EU
    Standard BNF FRSKY EU-KBT
    Standard BNF DSM2/DSMX
    Basic BNF FLYSKY
    Basic BNF FRSKY Non-EU
    Basic BNF FRSKY EU-KBT
Now I have no idea what any of that means or which one to pick.
Can you guys help an extreme newbie out?
    Thanks!

      @TheMadmacs 6 років тому +3

@@nathanfagan9881 well yeah, but typically smaller quads are actually harder to fly but this one bridges the gap between old small ones and full on 5inch quads, if youve had a go on simulators you should be fine with any of the recent quads. the only issue is money, this quad is about half the price of a 5inch, i'm not sure how cheap the batteries are but 5inch packs, 4s 1300mah are about 22 quid each, you need at least 6, and a charger 30quid ... you will crash and you will break stuff, 5 inchers are tougher and easier to work on. i would recommend you buy this set up and immediately start researchng what kinda 5 inch you want to fly, and its probably good to know which style you want to be doing, freestyle or racing or one that is ok for both as a beginner. uavfutures does a great video on building your own $100 5inch quad, i strongly recommend you watch that and seriously consider building your own 5 incher... its a bit of a learning curve to troubleshoot a quad so building will give you a good solid foundation as to how they work, its easy enough, theres just quite a lot of it. and there is nothing as satisfying as your first test hover of something you built yourself.

Hi Stew. The tiny whoop costs 1080 ZAR (South African Rand) that is about 200 AUD. I love the fact that the FPV cam angle can easily be changed. And that it can run on 1S and 2S. Love it. Was thinking of getting it for myself for Christmas

The Mobula7 costs $101.99 where I live and this thing looks amazing! I don't have a drone yet to fly FPV but I have been looking into it for about 3 years now but have not had the money to buy stuff for it yet. I am also scared I am gonna break something if I start on a 5inch or something. This thing looks amazing man!

Drone cost about 146 in aussie monies. Never owned a whoop before but judging by the footage, i think it's a great drone for flying in tight spaces and i love that it has pretty much the same capabilities and performance as a mini kwad!

90.34 + 2.71 Euro shipped to Germany, it's on my Christmas wish list. I like the fact you can run it on 1s until you get used to it and then go to 2s .

What I really like about the Mobula7 is that its surprisingly flies so nice and it can prolly do all the freestyle tricks up my sleeve. So yeah! I'm watching for this product. In my country its around 5,540 pesos if converted to 95$.

Its about £80 here in the UK. Fantastic price IMO. For sure those flight characteristics are the best thing about it. Also the fact that batteries are cheap is great for people like me as I don’t have a massive budget. Fantastic video!

I've had mine for a week now and properly enjoying it. Looking at doing a few upgrades soon. I would highly recommend getting a few spare frames as they do break pretty easily. An extra motor or two would be a good idea also.

For me this drone is 2170 mexican pesos. I´ve been flying a tinny whoop for a month now. I love the convenience of its size but the lack of power has been a problem. This whoop seems like a real game changer, in the videos it almost looks like a 5¨. I would love to have this drone!

I live in South Africa and in my local currency its R2000 which works out to about 140usd. The thing I like the most about the m7 is the adjustable camera angle and the powerful motors.
