7 menber band, with 3 lead singers. Each took lead depending on the song. Try A Little Tenderness early version Corey singing lead was my favorite, Chuck light blue shirt and his great mustache , Danny dark curly has black gold jacket. Danny is the only original singer left in the group. Saw them last November.❤❤❤ The band's now-famous name refers to native Australian hunters in the outback who huddled with their dogs for warmth on cold nights; the coldest being a “three dog night”.
Whiskey in your water, sugar in your tea….code words for certain drugs, gf is laying on the floor because she was high lol, ( cigarette you’re smoking is weed). Eli’s Coming Live ( 1975).
My dad played Three Dog Night for me and my brothers growing up and this song was always one of my favorite. Definitely a band you should check out more songs from!
When you have three lead singers in your band that can also sing great harmonies, the possibilities are endless. It's so much good stuff. Check out, One is the Loneliest Number.
Thanks, Sceez! Great band.. and this song was written by the genius Randy Newman.. you know his music... whether you know it's by him or not -- appreciate your reaction!
Back in the day, "whiskey in your water" or "high ball" meant a mix of an amphetamine and an opioid. So, an upper and a downer together. It had other names like "up-down" and "inside-out." Putting sugar in your tea meant to sprinkle some THC crystals in with your weed to give it an extra kick.
This is the studio version dubbed over this live performance. It is actually a good live performance so not sure why it was done that way. Anyway, keep on keeping on @Ok Sceez !
Another band you would enjoy the hell out of is dr. Hook & The Medicine Show. Listen to Freaker's Ball. They've had a ton of hits Three Dog Night is an amazing band an amazing band
Three different lead singers. The man on this one of Corey Wells, the one on the left is Chuck Negron and the one on the right is Danny Hutton. Check out their song “Liar”
Ahhhh the days of EVERYBODY getting along and listening to GREAT music.... sad to see the way racism is pushed nowadays by the elite, evil left.. We're ALL God's children!!!!! Love your reactions to classics us older Generation has grown up with and heard thousands of times. REAL MUSIC!!!
Great reaction to a great song. One little point to make -- there was one more final note at the end, kind of a delayed joke, that it seems got cut off. I'm likely the only .5% of people who care, but it totally completes the song. Nonetheless, it's cool you chose such a cool tune. 😁
In my neiborhood, I'm white and grew up in the northeast, low income neiborhood. Back then no video games, not a whole lot of food, pretty much forced to go outside and walk to your friend's house or wherever you wanted to go. I think a lot of folks grew up this way; even when what was considered middle-class in this era. I think that this may have a lot to do with the skinniness of a lot of the rock stars in the 70's. Course, for some folks, drugs didn't help.
“Wanna Whiskey in your water, sugar in your tea?” refers to drugs in the 1970s.
Oh yeah! ✌❤🎶
A “three dog night” is an old way they used to say how cold it got…how ever many dogs you had to cuddle with to stay warm

Already on my playlist, among a couple others. A true gem for the fun factor.

Love it! ☮️❤️😎
Oddly enough this is a Randy Newman song. You should check his music out. He is a really good song writer.
The brother on the drums was laying down some fundafied beats.
"Whiskey in your water" and "sugar in your tea" were referring to drugs (like acid).
Three different lead singers. The man on this one of Corey Wells, the one on the left is Chuck Negron and the one on the right is Danny Hutton. Check out their song “Liar”
Have you ever drank Moonshine? If so they like to sip away the heat with water from a cold well.
Ok Sceez now you gotta do them singing Try a Little Tenderness

Great reaction. Now you have to find out who Jeremiah was.
A killer drug party in the 70’s. The sugar and water refer to liquid psychedelics
Grew up with them
🔥🔥🔥
Isn’t it funny how skinny people were back then? You didn’t see many overweight folks. No judging, just an observation. Skinny bodies, huge hair.
