    I have a full gpr on my drz, it's fucking insanely loud without the baffles. I only run the rear one and it's still pretty damn loud.

      +Kracker Yeah mine is the race version so I don't even know if you can put baffles in it. Everyone wishes I had baffles though but I've gotten used to it.

      @TwoWheelHighLife  7 років тому

      +David Stadler ha yeah but surprisingly decal pop is almost non existent, was expecting it to be pretty annoying in those regards with no baffles and all.

    so I'm looking to buy a supermoto and I'm super interested in the 701.
    I'm a new rider, used to ride a cr125r a few years back and was wanting more power but ended up selling it for car parts instead of another bike.
    I've been looking into the drz400sm but I personally think it's ugly as hell so I'd have to do at least $600-800+ worth of upgrades to have it at least satisfactory for myself.
    I realize this bike packs a punch and is super light.
    Without talking about money, would you recommend it for a first bike for road?

      +Josh F oh it's totally worth the price in my opinion. Drz are great because of their durability but really weak in the performance department which goes against them for hwy riding. They get a little busy past 70mph. The 701 however in stock gearing like a 85 mph cruising and tops out around 115-120. If you have the funds to justify getting one then definitely do it. It's one of the absolute best do everything bike out there. I commute on mine, go off-road, hoon around with jumps and wheelies, etc etc. Drz aren't bad bikes though, but nothing close to a 701.

      MotardSteve no one has any in stock. I'd have to pay around $1500 over 701 Enduro price for a conversion, however I'd get the dirt tires with it. You think it's a good deal?

    How do you know if you have a euro map? Does that come with the bike or did you Install it? I just bought the 701 enduro and love the sound of your bike. I’m a little confused when I look up GPR exhaust a bunch of models come up and not sure which one to get or if i will need to remap my bike???

    • @TwoWheelHighLife
      @TwoWheelHighLife  6 років тому

      Dealer I bought it from installs the euro maps at the point of sale. They actually dont make my exhaust anymore. I guess cause it's not street legal. I'm not sure. Just a slip on shouldbt cause you to need a remap tbh. I rode my dr650 with a two brothers m7 for over a year with no rejet/re map and ram perfectly fine.

    Hay man nice comparison between stock and the GPR, btw the GRP looks gorgeous!
    Last time you wrote to me you want to buy a SC-Projekt exhaust... What changed your mind?

    • @TwoWheelHighLife
      @TwoWheelHighLife  7 років тому +1

      +Felix Cappox price tag. Plus the i like the carbon fiber finish and a.c. project doesn't have many options for pipes on the 701

      Ah ok, didn't know that...
      I would like to do a video similar to yours, but i just don't know how to get the db killer out of the Akrapovic without drilling a hole in the cap... ^,^

      Ryan I might but honestly I'm pretty happy with the bike as is for now, but eventually I'll probably start playing more with the performance. Next steps are crash protection such as bash plate and case savers

      +Gladius Jon oh the drz make great offroad bikes once you address their short comings. Pretty sure Everide still has his heavily modded drz
