@@lop_sided you must be naive to think so , Rajputs, Mongols, Arain, Sindhi people all have kept thier names from clans here, like Chohan, Sandhu, Sumar and so on. No one identifies with Arabs except probably some ruling class and fanatics....we know our clans and do not hide that.

if you reas history of Punjab region here and Rajastan region here , in the war of 1857, Rajput clans , and many other clans in Punjab had allied with a Famous Rani to rebel against the Britishers , i will have to look up thier names...also Pathans here are tribal in nature and dont identify with Arabs.
If you dont live here dont make presumptions , many areas where Rajputs live here Okara, Khanewal , Sahiwal , Multan they still speak Haryanwee Language along with Punjabi and Urdu.
We know our roots and take pride in it that we are descendants of a warrior race for instance...our customs and dressing tradition in villages here still exists as it did in Haryana.....in case of My tribe.
