Nationalism (maybe Patriotism as well) doesn't actually affect horded troops - it affects all troops that benefit from Nationalism no matter if they are horded. If you cancel the training of a redguard exactly when one redguard already popped out, you'll get your 300$ back but still have a redguard. For free! :o
Oh and, I think the ranger falling out of the chinook thing also happens when you select them while on the rope and tell them to stop or move. If you tell them to stop, they will play their landing animation in the air, otherwise it looks like they're on an invisible treadmill.

It would be easy to catch, if you watch the replay it's obvious, and also in game, you might notice odd number of red guard coming at you in the early game. I forget which mission it was, but I remember that you could disquise your bomb trucks as the battleships. This results in a rather humerous situation where you have these large ships going across land and the enemy doesn't think anything of it.
Thought I may want to share with you some weird insight I found in this game. Interestingly, Jarmen Kell has the guts to destroy a garrisoned Fire Base... provided that he is not targeting infantry inside it. Tested in GLA Mission 3, where capturing Cold Fusion Reactors is needed to power up the Particle Cannon, and Jarmen Kell joins the battle upon reaching the first GLA base (Palace and Barracks). There are Missile Defenders garrisoning the two Fire Bases, and Jarmen Kell has been proven to destroy the two defenses in three to four shots. Just do not let him shoot down infantry inside the Fire Bases; otherwise, he will no longer destroy them. EDIT: Had to remove a stray double space (kindly excuse me for being extra sensitive with the technicalities in my comments 😂). Also, if I am mistaken on who are the infantry inside Fire Bases, there may be Rangers instead. Either Missile Defenders or Rangers.
Supply drop planes when shot down deal a bit of damage to wherever they fall. It sometimes is hilarious when there are waves of planes coming to your base, each getting shot down and wearing down troops/buildings, destroying scaffolds.
Of course! I’ve tried it and it’s funny! All u have to do is search for the battleships not counting the carrier, then put that disguise on the bomb trucks and done

The production quality of this video is amazing, I thought this was going to be a video on the 'scud bug' which allowed you to force fire scud storm on any location without having to wait till the timer reached zero.
Found another one! When using Neutron Shells on promoted USA vehicles that have been hijacked, their promotion will last while unmanned. It will even persist after you captured it! It doesn't matter if the vehicle got promoted before or after being hijacked (I think).
Not from Zero Hour, but the regular Generals: In the last GLA mission, if you place vehicles on the tracks with the slow train (preferrably as center as possible), the train will slowly push them into the air. If you try to move the floating vehicles, they fly randomly here and there.
4:3 video, generals, no wierd intro, creative content...what year is it? :D one of the best games that exists in the history of command and conquer or in genreal all strategic games.
Also, there's an op glitch with the patriot lazers, after they shoot at least one time, they have 2 more long range shots. You can make the patriot lasers fire once at a near by building (use Ctrl), click stop and the next two shots will have further range. You can repeat this over and over again and kill any artillery. :)
@@Jundiyy Hello, I'm good, how r u? Your right, I just checked the files and the assist weapons both have 450 range, but I think it only works for the lasers effectively, because the missiles on a samsites are much slower, which means it'll be harder to time just right. :)

I know people use it as a cheat as well (done it to me) but it happens naturally. Let's say you place 2 or 3 next to each other in such a way that 1 or 2 of them don't have a direct shot of the enemy, then they will use the long range shot to hit enemies further away.
(I'm using my father's account so hi :V) IDK if it works in your generals version but , if your in Skirmish loading screen , spam the hotkey of Dozer "D" , or worker "K" will train your Dozer or worker early
I like to put Jarmen Kell where in the video the Humvee stood in the 4th mission's end sequence. It's funny when the attackers are all shot down and the plane just takes off without a care in the world.

IIRC, Snipers of USA, are able to pick out the occupants of an enemy GLA Bus. Not sure if this was fixed, but it sure did cost me many wins in multiplayer back then. Now combine this with Combat Chinooks filled with Snipers vs Battle Busses. 2nd : The Overlord is the only unit, who can run over Colonel Burton, Jarmen Kell and Black Lotus. 3: Instead of clicking on your mouse, you can use the shortcut letter for every building and unit in the game. Said letter is highlighted in yellow color. Q = Choose every Fighter across the map E = Choose every Fighter on screen X = Scatter selected troops
In og C&C generals china mission 6, if you put black lotus in a troop crawler and drive her to the middle of the train bridge, The ending cutscene plays but the troop crawler explodes killing black lotus before the cutscene began, now you have thin air placing the bomb to the bridge instead XD
6:37 what? but... I don't know if there's a patch in the later version or something, but in my game, if I don't capture any Tomahawk in the first place, the Raptors won't take off at all, and when I capture the airfield I capture the Raptors too...
Hey, in TheFirstDecade version of C&C generals Zero hour, is it scripted that IF the tomahawks are stolen AND cross that line, THEN the raptors are called in to kill them INSTEAD of being called in when the patriots are destroyed, i tried to do this a long time ago, my mind is a bit hard to remember things, but it's been a while since i played the GLA campaign.
If you're willing to mod this out, there's something funky about KILL_PILOT weapons. You can "unman" units that normally cannot be unmanned if you give the KILL_PILOT weapon a damage radius if you target it slightly to the side(preferrably with range of the damage radius).
oh yes, before I forget, you need to make the KILL_PILOT weapon not need a target to shoot at. So place it on a unit as a primary weapon or change the command to use the KILL_PILOT weapon to not need a target, just target an area.

There's another bug with missions, more notably within the 4th GLA mission, when you ALT+TAB out and in not once, but twice, the mission can get corrupt and have both of it's bridges disappear, which are also crucial to completing it, rendering the mission unaccomplishable, am yet to experiment this with other missions though.

So for ayone playing shockwave mod, (dont know if it works in zero hour) but if you put a nuke cannon in its firingmode and lets is shoot but quikly when it has done so switch it to it's moving mode and put it on hold fire. Let the firing time reload and then switch back to free fire and now let it attack something manually. Instead of deploying it will now shoot in its moving form without even deploying and repeat this to have an moving nuke cannon thats firing all the time. enjoy!

Ok, you need to make a little mod to use them. (which means that everyone who wants to play your map needs the mod as well to hear the voicelines) 1) Copy the *SpeechEnglish.big* from your Generals folder in your Zero Hour folder. 2) Open the *INIZH.big* with FinalBIG and extract the *Speech.ini* (Data\INI\Speech.ini) 3) Create a folder called *INI* in your *Data* folder (inside your Zero Hour folder) 4) Copy the extracted *Speech.ini* in the *INI* folder. (Zero Hour/Data/INI/Speech.ini) 5) Open the *INI.big* in your Generals folder and open the *Speech.ini* (Data\INI\Speech.ini) with FinalBIG. 6) Now you can copy the "DialogEvent" that you want in your extracted *Speech.ini* (inside your Zero Hour/Data/INI folder) *For example:* DialogEvent MisChi04OfficerC01 ;
When the end sequence is triggered, a script called "Setup_EndGame" gets activated which removes all units from "teamPlyrGLA" and "teamLate_Reinforcements". The Hijackers belong to the "GLA_TEAM_A_Hijackers"/"GLA_TEAM_B_Hijackers" team, that's why they apear in the end sequence. (So if you steal a vehicle with a Hijacker, the vehicle joins the team assigned to the Hijacker.)

If you get weapon upgrade right after your units shoot their weapons, their will instantly refill their ammo.

For some reason I can hear a bit of TF 2 Spy from the GLA voice actor.
Edit: The USA general reminds me of the Soldier, and the fact there lines gets edited, and cut it really reminds me of a great amount of TF 2 poop videos. XD
There's another bug with missions, more notably within the 4th GLA mission, when you ALT+TAB out and in not once, but twice, the mission can get corrupt and have both of it's bridges disappear, which are also crucial to completing it, rendering the mission unaccomplishable, am yet to experiment this with other missions though.

Yo so i have the 20 years addition, The one with the 20 games or whatever, and i have a hard time with contra and rise of the reds, ive never got to play the mods. How do i install it properly

So for ayone playing shockwave mod, (dont know if it works in zero hour) but if you put a nuke cannon in its firingmode and lets is shoot but quikly when it has done so switch it to it's moving mode and put it on hold fire. Let the firing time reload and then switch back to free fire and now let it attack something manually. Instead of deploying it will now shoot in its moving form without even deploying and repeat this to have an moving nuke cannon thats firing all the time. enjoy!

I have a question this thing is gonna drive me crazy if i cant do this.
I am trying to make a map in zero hour but some of the speech files are in normal generals and i cant move them to zh speechenglishzh.big
I tried moving audio files from finalbig and extract them to zh folder but i still cant find them in worldbuilder.
I thing you know some things and help can me!

Ok, you need to make a little mod to use them.
(which means that everyone who wants to play your map needs the mod as well to hear the voicelines)
1) Copy the *SpeechEnglish.big* from your Generals folder in your Zero Hour folder.
2) Open the *INIZH.big* with FinalBIG and extract the *Speech.ini* (Data\INI\Speech.ini)
3) Create a folder called *INI* in your *Data* folder (inside your Zero Hour folder)
4) Copy the extracted *Speech.ini* in the *INI* folder. (Zero Hour/Data/INI/Speech.ini)
5) Open the *INI.big* in your Generals folder and open the *Speech.ini* (Data\INI\Speech.ini) with FinalBIG.
6) Now you can copy the "DialogEvent" that you want in your extracted *Speech.ini* (inside your Zero Hour/Data/INI folder)
*For example:*
DialogEvent MisChi04OfficerC01 ;

Question. How did get a humvee at the end. (During the rebels fending of the rangers) is it possible with other vehicles?
I know its a dumb question but still.
When the end sequence is triggered, a script called "Setup_EndGame" gets activated which removes all units from "teamPlyrGLA" and "teamLate_Reinforcements".
The Hijackers belong to the "GLA_TEAM_A_Hijackers"/"GLA_TEAM_B_Hijackers" team, that's why they apear in the end sequence.
(So if you steal a vehicle with a Hijacker, the vehicle joins the team assigned to the Hijacker.)
@@AGX750 So in case I capture a vehicle from the reinforcements with either team a or b Hijackers it will disappear. That means I need to capture the vehicles the are not part of the reinforcement unit right???
Every unit you capture with the Hijackers from the beginning should be visible in the final cutscene.
