My cats have the same "mental impairment" when it comes to differentiate what they should scratch and what not xD But the strangest thing my cats do is their drinking habit, I have 9 water bowls in my apartment and all can take 1 liter or more because they tend to flip them out of fun. The bowls i use now are a bit to heavy for my cats :) and the 2 biggest are cooking pots with around 10 L and the sink in the bathroom where they demand to drink directly out of the water tap. But all those are not enough because they do anything to drink the stale old water from the birdbath on the outside window sill where i feed the birds of the whole neighborhood -_-
I did not adopt mine… I received him through the distribution system 😆 (He was dumped on my parents farm and after a vet checkup/getting snipped he came home with me). He’s a weird puppy. Loves car rides 🤷♀️
I've also had 3 black cats. I've only had black cats, and each one has been very special. Your 2 are beautiful. Great job on the scratcher. I bought one at Walmart that looks like a bed. It has slightly raised walls. My cat loves to scratch, play, and sleep in it. Forget the fluffy beds that is her happy place. I've gifted them to other people, and their cats love them too. 💝🐈⬛

What a great way to reuse all the chewy's boxes and not have to buy expensive flat scratchers again- oh yeah! (I have 4: 1 black, 1 black tuxedo, 1 white calico, one buff tabby:^)
Idk how it's called in English, in Russian we call it клейстер. Best recipe is 3 tablespoons of flour+ 3 tablespoons of potato starch + 200 ml of water and boil + stir till its like glue. Result is effectively a food grade glue which can be used for cardboard, paper, etc

@@MonkeyJedi99 I'm pretty sure cardboard has toxins in it. Not sure how much though. However, I do know they recommend against using it in gardens because there is enough toxin it could get into whatever you grow.

sorry for your loss.it's hardly possible to put it somehow into words,no matter in which language i exactly know what you mean and i feel with you..my ginger tabby cat rusty or *my old reliable ship's diesel* as I used to call her because of her sonorous purring.unfortunately my old reliable ships diesel stopped it's service permanent and she crossed the rainbow bridge almost 8 years ago because of bone cancer.i miss her terribly.what helped me a lot was when a good friend gave me an envelope containing the poem *testament of a cat* and said: "rusty wants me to give you that." i thought that was kind of endearing of him.it was definitely a nice gesture and he was one of the few who really thought about what could make my loss at least a little easier. when i think of her now i always have a smile on my face instead of tears in my eyes and i am eternally grateful to her for being my faithful companion all her life and for purring me 13 years into sleep evety night and then kept watch over me and she protected me like a guard dog while i slept 😎. even though they are no longer by our side, they will forever remain in our memories and have a special place in our hearts. feel hugged by a fellow sufferer.
it doesn't always have to be the fancy overpriced cat house from the pet store.usually a simple cardboard box is enough to make your cat happy.the money saved in this way can then be put aside for a rainy day.
My son got one, she was also the runt of the litter. Best cat ever. Very nonchalant about everything. Was always in cahoots with the dog to get treats off the counter. But she was also the first one to terrorize the dog and get upset if someone else tried to.

The sound of the licking just really got to me! Miss my cats. my last one passed at 18 1/2 years old. That was two years ago and just yesterday I was coming home from a walk and there on my sidewalk was sitting and all black cat and we just stood there staring at each other for quite a long time before it disappeared under my deck. I hope I get to see the cat again. I do put out some food under the deck periodically cause we have so many stray cats in our neighborhood. I hope I’ve been chosen.

I've had black cats, they have the greatest personalities. I used to take Jason to a nursing home and we would visit at least 30 residents while we were there. Jason walked on a leash and I taught him everything you would teach a dog. The residents would hold out their hands and he would give them all a "high five". I would ask, "Jason, what do you do when you smell Jerry's boots?" He would fall over, dead! I don't know if Jerry thought it was funny, but his wife sure did! He knew sit, stay, down, heel, come, all with hand signals or verbal commands, he would also fetch. Everybody loved him, he had 50 or 60 good friends who were always excited and happy to see him. He's been gone for 18 years, (he was 19½ years old when I sent him home to God), and I miss him every day.

Oh I love this! My cat doesn't really get or care about scratching posts, but these cardboard ones are the best thing in the world. You don't even have to sprinkle on the catnip, he just throws himself at the board when he gets a new one, doesn't want to leave it, and when it's time to turn it over he comes running and tries to push it back onto the floor because he thinks I'm gonna take it away. I wonder what he'd think of a big homemade one. Gotta try this! 😊❤

Месяц назад покупала такую на Озоне ща 300 руб. Большая. Кошка полностью на ней помещается , даже если лапки вытянет.

Oh I love this! My cat doesn't really get or care about scratching posts, but these cardboard ones are the best thing in the world. You don't even have to sprinkle on the catnip, he just throws himself at the board when he gets a new one, doesn't want to leave it, and when it's time to turn it over he comes running and tries to push it back onto the floor because he thinks I'm gonna take it away. I wonder what he'd think of a big homemade one. Gotta try this! 😊❤
