MO and the Red Ribbon - Freedom Festival

Combining spectacular staging and emotional storytelling, come and meet MO, a giant child puppet, who wakes up in Hull to find he has been separated from his family. With a red ribbon as a guide, help MO on his journey in this promenade production which explores the experience of migration from a child’s perspective, offering an ultimately optimistic look at the world we inhabit and those we share it with.
In line with the giant spectacles of the festival’s previous years, audiences can expect to be blown away as they follow MO through the streets of Hull City Centre alongside pyrotechnics, puppetry, spectacular displays and so much more. This is certainly a show that brings back the grand event audiences have come to love and expect previously at Freedom Festival and will be sure to bring a large crowd. This is a one-off event, make sure not to miss it!
