I worked on this game back when I was at Midway San Diego. Glad to see people enjoying it all these years later. That slow no juking is the business. Go slow mo, let them jump and move away. Also, slow mo side step, makes the defenders automatically slip like you broke their ankles.

A little fun fact the first blitz the league game story mode was made from the same guy who made the ESPN series “Playmakers” it was just like blitz the league but it had the NFL branding because of ESPN money. It had micheal jai white as a superstar running back but he was also a crackhead. I believe the trailer for this game is also banned because it depicted John Madden as one of the coaches.

I remember playing this game as a kid the disc was a bit scratch and it would freeze on the intro of the story I used to go to school and come back and it would be running 😂😂 who remember letting they games sit for hours to correct itself so you could enjoy it 😂

In Blitz the League 2, injuries are more detailed. They got rid of the brawls but you can still beat the mess out of each other after the play. Less trash talk though if any in the second but I do remember you could do td celebrations.
