I have sprained my ankle in the hole in my couch and for me, it made me not go to school for months till i could walk better again. In my experience,it lasted 3 or more months, but it can make your ankle also a little bit more sensitive, like applying TOO MUCH pressure on it, tight shoes,etc. Tips: Stay as still as you can(well you can move from your hips and up) When you feel like there's barely any time left for it to get better, start to try walking, and make sure you have stuff to hold on, and apply low pressure on the sprained foot, keep on trying everyday
