honestly this is the best sentence I read today. Yes, she sure did invent us, and we're so glad.

This song hurts. Like the emotional thing where you don't even know what to do but can't breath and want to yell. Somehow it reminds me of everything that tore my heart out and left it. The broken parts that are the reason I still have trouble relating to people and still hate myself. But I keep coming back to listen to it.

"Lisa loves Jason. Oh, Jason Loves Ben" oh classic heartbreak from a gay relationship .3.

This song gives me a feeling of peace and contentment, knowing other people are having the human experience and struggling just like i am. I feel less alone

although the lyrics are depressing, the feeling I get from listening to this song gives me a feeling of calmness, solidity and humbleness.

I've heard none of her songs are autobiographical, they're about characters she made up. But she's still the one who wrote this song, so their is a part of her laced through it anyway. Even if it's just a figment of her mind.

    コメントを見ていると、どの国の人も同じような時代の経験を投影していて、国が違えど音楽は同じ体験をさせてくれることを考えさせられるし感動する。

I felt the same way at your age, but when I got to high school, things really improved. Not all at once, but slowly over the four years. Kindness and helpfulness are wonderful qualities. You'll have more opportunities to find like minds in high school than in the terrible hell hole of middle school :)

Something always felt heavy about this song. Bittersweet loneliness.

I think this song beautifully sums up the teenage experience (or at least mine)

High school is actually better than middle school. There are so many more people, it's easy to leave behind those who dislike you and find friends. I know it sounds cheesy, but you should join clubs to find people who share common interests with you. I've met so many awesome people that way.

This reminds me of one of the Columbine victims, Kelly Fleming. Especially the teddy bear thing since she was buried with two teddy bears in her arms. :'(

I’m ready that series right now. Team Leo! Besides, Nico is just super broody, but Leo has this desperation to just find SOMEONE that makes him so much sweeter.

she definitily has some autobiographical songs. I think more of her earlier songs were much moreabout her self such as this one, 8th floor, and obviously rockland county. SHe did make that statement though for songs such as long borwn hair, or oedipus. Regina is just a great storyteller period.

Randomly rememebred this song again. Its so raw😢 raw emotions, raw lyrics and raw vocals. I wish she officially released this.

Shit. I'll finish high school this year. I'll leave my home town to go to the college and this song makes me cry every time... "Don't wanna go home and cook myself dinner". I just think about being alone and it makes me so sad... even though going to college is my biggest dream...

Holy crap Is this song actually about teen suicide...
it sounds like it... like someone in a seemingly irreparable situation

  • @calidrisferruginea

What's awkward about that? People don't get the same associations from music (or from any other thing for that matter) and thus have different reactions to it. Makes perfect sense to me at least.
