Really not possible to make a general statement about that. Cracking is not necessary from thick applicatition but when your concistency is to thick, you have to much silicone, to warm or humid environment etc. Many different aspects
Omg I love this! I'm about to try it soon too! But do you normally move the colored part around to the black edges or do you leave a white space inbetween?
It turned out beautifully! Next time if you want less black, you can tilt the canvas to spread the paint before you pour the black in the centre area. That way the black won’t stretch out as much. That being said, I really love how yours turned out and I think it has just the right amount of black!
I love this idea. As a suggestion I think you can try spreading a different shade of blue or another color with the fork instead of black. Then you can add the black pupil in the middle.
I just came across this a few weeks ago. Having fun with the pours, but, I like to use after the pour as my canvas. I don't see many people doing that. I'm self taught artist. Watching you create the eye out of a pour was great.
A very good idea with an awesome technic and you've made a wonderful blue eye with a stunning asymmetrical iris...Bravo Kind reegards from France. Thierry
Excellent! I am mixing acrylics to clear resin to give it some added protection for tabletops..... with a flood coat over the acrylic/resin pour for protection.... any experience with acrylic/resin pours?
I love this so much and would like to recreate it. My only problem is I don't know where people are getting these round canvases. Do you have any suggestions? Keep creating Santana you are great! Thanks
Medium, water and most crucial the right concistency. It's very important to start with the right knowledge. On the basic playlist you'll find all the background information and how things work
I can't even remember. It doesn't matter if floetrol or glue as long as you have something to stabilize your pigment connection. Silicone don't think so. Water always. Check out the basic playlist for more background information

Its not as easy as it looks. Acrylic pouring is fine with acrylic paint, medium and various additives brought to the right concistency. Have a look at the basic and beginner's videos to get started
I don't understand. I said that. Acrylic paint with pouring medium, water and additives in the concistency to make it flow. Colours are blues, green and gold

Happy you like it. On the canvas I can't really say. In the Netherlands I can order them in a online shop. Guess you can only Google
Thanks Santana, you're so sweet.
i like it😍, but please can you tell me what kind of acrylic you use and what do you use to dilute it ???
Medium, water and most crucial the right concistency. It's very important to start with the right knowledge. On the basic playlist you'll find all the background information and how things work

Where are you getting you're transparent paints? Or are you making them and if so how??
No you can't make them. The indicator should be on the bottle or brand website. If its craftpaint you often cant really figure it out
👏👏👏
Beautiful. You put in white first?
I don't really remember. Normally I do. But for no special reason :-)
FluidArtbySantanaHagedorn - I should have asked was that white you put in pour cup first?
Okay I checked in the video. That was a tiny bit of transparent pear. Don't think it really makes a big difference
FluidArtbySantanaHagedorn - thank you for looking
Hi for the last project what did you add to your paint ,silcone, flortrol,,water?
I can't even remember. It doesn't matter if floetrol or glue as long as you have something to stabilize your pigment connection. Silicone don't think so. Water always. Check out the basic playlist for more background information
cool
Thx
draw the tines into the center and it would look more like an iris, sharp lobes rather than rounded lobes
What is the dry time for something like that?
A painting should always cure 30 days. It might feel dry to the touch after 3-4 days but the layers are still moist
Hello what exactly are u useing to make it glossy
After it's dry you can use whatever Varnish, gloss or Resin you like. I like high gloss Varnish from liquitex
one of the colors looks black in the cup but as you pour it looks possibly very dark blue, which color is it?
There is no black in the pour itself. So I also assume dark blue
thank you
I really wish you would tell what colors you use.
I know its different kind of blues, some greens and gold
What were the colors used?
Dont know exactly anymore. Greens, blues and Gold
What silicone do you use? Ik kan er namelijk geen vinden in de winkels😂❤️
Gewoon bij Etos haar serum. Of bij blazingcolors
Can u please say what colours u used ? There’s no colour description on your video like others .
👀👁️👍
Thx
how to keep it shine after its dry?
Mostly best way is to simply Varnish
I really like your videos, thank you for posting. But, it’s really distracting when you’re talking to have noise playing in the background.
❤️
Thank you
