- Hi every one back in a farm building here trying to keep the numbers down using my new HW 35 Export 177 12ftlb, it was good to be back out with the old springer if i be honest 👍
Good dogs and good friends are a blessing. Rest in peace Jack. Thank you for sharing your time together with Jack . Good luck for coming days Simon. 😊
Cheers pal.
Great content with my childhood style equipment. Quiet times with a furry friend are memorable. Bless you Simon.
Many thanks!
How wonderful & sweet it is to have memories of you and Jack together ! With Deepest Respect from Dave in USA.
Thanks David.
Kim the memories of Jack and hold them dear. Thank you for another great presentation.
You are so welcome
Simon yet another brilliant video💯👍although every time I see I think of Jack bless him 🙏🐕 he will be looking down on his lovely owner gave him a ❤ quality life, respect to Simon and his lost partner
Thank you Andrew life goes on but my spotter is still by my side i just can't see him.
@@simon6ppc246 Simon I was one of the first persons to text you I know you have add a lot of people and you can't reply to everybody but my heart goes out too you, never mind another Jack I know will not replace, please keep chin up and I have total respect for you, shooting you are the best only take shots if you can 👍💯 a true pest controller 💖
Hi Simon, Fantastic to see you using the 35 to good effect, Quite possibly the best Marksman on UA-cam, Hands down.
Love watching your stuff, very professional.
Thank you Philip really appreciated pal.
So sorry for your loss buddy, we are all missing Jack.
Cheers Mick
Cracking shooting again with the 35 export. What a rifle a mate bought one in 79 and it was a head turner for its accuracy far better than bsa or webley. Glad you bought one didn't realise they still made that model.thanks for sharing.
Ye cracking air rifle Robin
Great video, miss the BIG BOY by your side , hopefully your new pup can fill the gap a bit , take care and stay safe
Thank you David.
Sorry to hear about Jack. He was a good boy.
Thanks David.
What a lovely ending to the video.
Huge miss when there not there anymore.
But the memories are what its all about now.
Take care man.
All the best.
Thank you
Nice work as usual mate. Can't wait to 'meet' the new pup 😁
Thank you Chris.
If it ain't broke , don't fix it , that's a nice traditional rifle ! Cheers Simon 👍🏴😉
Thanks Phil.
Thanks for the video Simon, Weihrauch have upped their game with the 35's as the older ones often struggled to make the power especially the export version in .177. You've got a goodun.👍It takes time to get over the loss of a hound, keep busy. atb neil
Absolutely cheers pal
Exciting to see the new gun out and about, great bit of kit. Good shooting.
It's sad to see your spotter go but it is good to hear he might have a successor.
Cheers and all the best Simon
Cheers Si
Hi mate, what a cracking vid...the HW35 is such an iconic rifle, when I was buying my first one (or should I say when my mum and dad were buying my first one lol ) it was a choice between a HW35 and a Webley Vulcan Deluxe. I chose the Webley and then went on to a Webley Omega and then an Air Arms Khamsin which I've still got....and the other day I got myself an Air Arms Camargue for the nostalgia of my youth and the fun of shooting a springer....sorry mate I jibber jabbering again lol. Thank you as always for a great vid and it was really touching footage to end on. Best wishes.
Thank you Geoff really appreciated pal.
Fantastic video, great to see a springer at work well done pal
Thanks 👍
One of the best springers ever made if you ask me.
Second on that list for me would be the HW98.
Just hard to beat german engineering.
Ye 💯 pal with out a doubt
Great shooting Simon as always, by the way i loved the little smirk as you announced there maybe a 3rd jack 😉, great news and here's to new adventures with Jack the 3rd 😊 x
Thank you 👌
Good choice for some short range pest control the ever dependable HW35 , old but gold , those magpies are tough as old boots as are all Corvids ,they often manage to fly twenty meters before the lights go out , nice one Simon 😊
Ye cheers Mark
You're very welcome Mate! Great shooting on this one! 13yds on the magpie and pigeon, you could have reached out and grabbed them!😂😂😉😉 Well done again and see you on the next one! have a great new week!
Lol cheers pal.
Looking forward, in time, to seeing Jack 3. Take care.
Thank you.
Great video as always. Could listen to you all day. Sad about old Jack but we may see a new friend 🤞🏻
Thank you Mark
A 3rd Jack would be awesome Simon. I lost my "Kelli" on my 55th birthday and I just haven't had the heart to get me another lab. Her passing really hurt me bad, and that was over 13 years ago. The best of luck my Friend.
Cheers mate
Love that little 35. Great that you are out again , tks for sharing
Thanks Jimmy 👍
That was brilliant I've got the hw80 Pcp accurate The 35 export is next on my list I missed one 3 months ago I was gutted Thanks Simon Great shooting as usual ❤❤
Nice one David i love the action the the 35 so smooth
Why is the rifle called export
.
Love to see the HW35 in action 👍 I got tired of PCP pest control vids. Thanks for this great video buddy 😁RIP Jack 😔
Thanks 👍
Hi Simon, thanks again for posting!
My pleasure!
Thanks for your time as always simon
My pleasure
Miss seeing Jack in the videos but really looking forward to the New Jack
Go for it Simon, Jack 3.
Well done Simon, love a bit of springer action. I was OK till you palyed the music and sequence with Jack at the end...🥺
Thank you.
Jack will live on in our hearts
Thank you Phil.
No problem brother I know the feeling I lost 2 of my babies within six months they were sisters found them on the dirt road when they were puppies. It will get better with time.
Break barrel… that is what I use. Sure gives the arms a bit of a workout sighting it in. haha
Lol sure does
Excellent shooting as always Simon....I have a 1980 HW35 with a stunning Walnut Stock...The safety catch is always hard work as is the release catch...Yours were perfect considering you've not done anything to it yet....Ive fitted a WEIHRAUCH HW35 silencer which makes the barrel even longer to cock ...Im thinking of selling it as I find it hard work....A third Jack will be great company for you again and hope he's as good as Jack Mk 2......
Thank you my friend
Another good video Simon.
Cheers pal
Hi simon, super video as always. Rip my friend Jack. We will see you all once again.
Can you do a video with long range again, like this with the crows? Thanks. Your fan from the alps
Thank you Franz on with another as i type
ayup simon, might be a 3rd jack hey.he will have big shoes to fill and it dont take long for the new dog to fill em of the way you will train him.hope ya gettin a grip on looseing ya best mate, a bit of time and you will come good ,time his a heeler simon carnt wait to see the new dog, steam on
Cheers Simon.
TX Simon
Thank you.
It's odd how people complain about farmers being the reason small birds are declining but they encourage magpies crows jackdaw and the idiotic protecting of hookbeaks and re introducing of whatever looks furry or cute . I think it's a straight choice keep the predators under control or stop moaning about the loss of small birds
100% pal.
Nice work
Thank you! Cheers!
Hopefully Simon you will be blessed soon with another companion like Jake.
Something to be said about HW rifles, my HW80 bought new in the 1980’s and can still produce the goods.
Ye cracking shooters Peter
Brilliant shooting once again. I bet you could shoot the chains of a portcullis on a one penny piece! The HW77 was my first many years ago. Back then I found it quite weighty and noisy to be honest. I have no idea what the weight of the 35 is without googling it up . Curious to know which is the better, I'm sure I've seen you sporting the 77 as well?
Both brilliant Rolf but my favorite to be fair is the HW 77.
I’m sorry for your loss, it really is the hardest part of sharing your life with an animal.
Could you tell me if you always aim for the centre/body of a bird or sometimes their head?
Which is best in your opinion for a consistent clean kill with a springer at sub 40/50 yards?
Many thanks.
Cheers mate , i usually do heads all the time to be fair
Enjoyed the video, thank you!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
When ever I see break barrels performing well the barrel always looks easy to reset, this rifle looks really loose, every Weihrauch I gave had, 99,95 and 98 are a job to reset!
Ye this is tight but easy to move
I've got a simlar set up with an HW98 for barn work, but no sling...what sling do you have and where did you get it from?
Thanks George i got it from Cheshire Gun Room pal in Stockport
RIP ❤
Thank you
its same as mine slavia 634,22 with 12ftlbs
Cheers pal.
1st undercover 😅😅
Lol nice one Ian 😂
I wish that I had not sold my 35E in .22👍
Ye cracking air rifle pal with out a doubt
What are the benefits of your outfit in this situation?!!
Keep me warm, keep me camouflaged, all my tools in the pockets, 😎
Why do you bang the rifle down into the bag
😂Not sure John just habit with the springers
RESPECT for You, your Conservation Efforts, and of course RIP Jack!
Much appreciated Bernard
Thing is Jack left you with the best gift of all .. memories..as long as you have those Jack is always with you .. take care mate
We will all miss Jack. Very sorry for your loss.
Jack was a great companion for you and had a wonderful life!
I'll certainly miss him greatly!
Mike
Thanks Mike
Thanks for yet another Productive video and I'm pleased to hear you are anticipating another Working Dog to accompany you.
It is always great to see a springer in use. Most of my air rifles are springers, and they are very accurate. I feel people get spoiled with the rapid pace of PCP shooting, but the springers will do in most pest control. I have nothing against the PCP rifles, but I do love to see you using "old school" rifle. Cheers from Texas.
Thank you David
nice one Simon, looking forward to meeting Jack 3 the next generation
Cheers Gary
Are you shooting right-handed but using your left eye? I'm right-handed but left-eye dominant so I just switched to shotting left-handed years ago.
i use my right eye pal if you look very close
NRW took Magpies and Rooks off our GL in Wales.... Bloody things are everywhere now.
Ye bad news
Looking forward to seeing JACK THE THIRD
Thanks Phil.
I watched your video and I like it from Paso. Robles california.
Thanks Tom
It's always a pleasure watching your videos. You gave Jack the best life that a dog can have. Take care Simon
Many thanks
Another brilliant video thanks for sharing buddy keep up the good content 👌
Thanks 👍
I sure like my HW35e, and also shoot the 10.34 JSB, with the exception of using the AirArms version which seems to be just a little better. I shoot it a few times almost every day down in the basement at 15 yards. I laughed just a little bit when you mentioned that there might be a third Jack before long.
Lol cheers David.
I had a hard time hearing you when you were talking about the gun (losing my hearing doesn't help). Did you say that one was made in 1961, or that that was when they started making them? Seems like a very nice gun. Do you still have the underlever 177? Jack was an awesome dog. I will miss him in the videos. Hope you do get another one!
Ye pal the 35s came out in 1951 and they still virtually make the same design to this day which is brilliant and ye the HW 77 i still have which is just awsome.
How do you go about complying with the general licences? In regards to measures put in place b4 shooting? Reason i ask is because i dont know any farmer that is willing 2 try other measures first.
I just go buy the general license all the time Sean checking it so to be legal all i can do.
Of course there will be a 3rd jack it would be like having an arm missing if you don’t. Really enjoy your video’s and keep making. Many thanks
Thanks 👍
Iam driving too far and paying too much for my tank refills, seriously looking at going back to Springer!
They can do the same job Bobby for sure with less hassel.
HW35 i have an old one not sure how to tell the year it was produced. Impressive bit of kit.
Brilliant
Good to see the old 35 in action,i still have my 35e vixen i bought new back in the day, still a good rifle
Another good video Simon, hoping to see your new dog soon
Thanks 👍
So I figured it out ! All the great rock stars and bands release their “Greatest Hits”. I think Jack should have his greatest hits and sniffs.
I could do Dave but i think folk will get sick of me going on about him to be fair, i do miss him but life has to go on 👌
Cracking video Simon, cracking content to show training the new Jack. Good luck mate
Thanks 👍
Was thinking where Jack was, gutted to hear hes gone bud cracking companion ❤
Thanks Peter
That air rifle doesn't seem to plant them immediately like the other ones I've watched you use. I know it kills them but usually they don't even get a wing flap in after being hit but these seemed to last just a moment.
Just on the day pal to be fair
Thanks for another cracking vidio and bring on a 3rd jack you deserve another good dog
Thanks Paul.
Has to be a third Jack its terrible loosing them but a far more terrible thought not to have had them in the the first place
Good luck and keep the videos coming 👍👍
Ye cheers pal.
i always thought of the 35 as a starting rifle, like the bsa meteor but i was wrong, it's very good gun
cheers pal
so we gettin a puppy look forward to seeing him /her /them /rip jack
Thanks Dave
I have a 57 now. They just make brilliant rifles
100% Ross

Thats a cracking little session mate, oh im so so sorry about Jack mate, he will be sadly missed, he was a top notch helper and friend to you, he wont ever be forgotten mate, never, Cheers 👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮x
Thank you Casper.
Fyi maybe good practice to activate the breach lock when you return the barrel to the shooting position, as this would stop wear caused by the catch on breach block , enjoyed the video i only have spring powered rifles so up my street thanks 😊
Thanks for the advice Tony
Thanks again for the video, my shooting has declined with my permissions being either built over or sold so target only for me apart from the odd rat that comes to live under my garden decking , just got one of the limited edition HW 50 s so renewed passion for our sport, stay safe cheers for now
Sorry, RIP Jack
Cheers mate
