I notice it didnt say when to take the dough hook out. Mine too had the hook in the middle of the bread. It then has a big hole in that part of bread.

We made exactly the same bread recipe the first time but the second time we will choose the first crust variant, lighter in colour and softer.

But in the instruccions they are saying that liquids must not come in contact with yeast and salt...And you mixed water and yeast together? Is it possible that I have wrong instruccions for the same model of breadmaker?

No, you are right about the instructions. I just tried it both ways and it works both ways. if you do it according to the instructions you can delay the time, if not you have to start the process right away.
