Good video. Thanks. I take some exception to your video. In a plant environment the smart sensors are going to report results to a local controller/ data agrigator. A local cintrollee is needed so that the plant is controlable when global internet is down. A data agrigator is useful in that the sensor data is concentrated and sent as a more manage data package the a collection of individual sensors. Also only one device, the data agregator needs to have cloud authenication details.
Thanks for video .I am new graduate from instrumentation engineering sadly I working in operation .I want to improve my skills in Programming of PLCs what can help me in that?

good afternoon, you can have a video on a topic that explains what an interface and a protocol are, many people confuse or think that this is the same thing
Solenoid valves and other devices, such as contactors, operate when current is passed through a coil of wire wrapped around a magnetic rod. This causes a change of position of a rod or other mechanism that closes a contact, changes a valve position, etc. If the wire is broken, it is called an "open coil", since the driving force for the coil is lost.
Industry 4.0 " internet of things" its far more advance than previous generations, but its has a security issue like "Hacking", Because its connect it to the internet .
Thank you so much for creating this video! It feels like we just asked for this last week!
You're very welcome! Happy to hear such positive feedback.

is the output of the smart sensor always digital ? or it's always a current ? i had this as exam question.

Hi Poma,
Thanks for your comment and your suggestion. I will pass this on to our course developers!
Thanks for sharing and happy learning!
What are open coils?
Solenoid valves and other devices, such as contactors, operate when current is passed through a coil of wire wrapped around a magnetic rod.
