    Good video. Thanks. I take some exception to your video. In a plant environment the smart sensors are going to report results to a local controller/ data agrigator.
    A local cintrollee is needed so that the plant is controlable when global internet is down.
    A data agrigator is useful in that the sensor data is concentrated and sent as a more manage data package the a collection of individual sensors. Also only one device, the data agregator needs to have cloud authenication details.

    is the output of the smart sensor always digital ? or it's always a current ? i had this as exam question.

    • @realpars
      @realpars  Рік тому

      Thank you for your question! Smart Sensors are available in various configurations tailored to suit your specific application. They can be fully digital, provide current output, or be easily configurable for your needs through dip switch settings or software. In the Industry 4.0 version, the options are plentiful, and numerous companies offer these products. What are open coils?

    • @realpars
      @realpars  2 роки тому

      Solenoid valves and other devices, such as contactors, operate when current is passed through a coil of wire wrapped around a magnetic rod. This causes a change of position of a rod or other mechanism that closes a contact, changes a valve position, etc. If the wire is broken, it is called an "open coil", since the driving force for the coil is lost.
