Perfect timing and another great video. Going to be there in 2 weeks and was curious how the Christmas decorations/events would look - apparently pretty nice. We'll probably be there on a weekday so hopefully it will get dark soon enough before 6pm closing to enjoy the lights.
You're doing an excellent job on the videos. They always put a smile on my face. My day wasn't going so well, but you've enlightened me yet again as to what other positive happenings others are partaking in in our beautiful and amazing State of a California.

The park looks amazing decorated for Christmas time . I have never seen the penguin show you mentioned and in my opinion I like the rides at that park better than SeaWorld San Antonio . Can't wait to go back in the future to that park .
Thanks for sharing. It feels down, no spark of Christmas spirit. Is Orca show still there? As for parade... it was so pathetic it made me cry. No fireworks? Oh, boy... They should make free park entrance.
They have fireworks, it just didn't start until December 9th. Why it didn't start when the even started, I don't know.
I originally was going to San Diego at Christmas time. But I changed it to Sept. I agree with the lights at SeaWorld beautiful. And liked the second show. I even sang along. And that Smores Churro sounded amazing. You are doing great. And say hi to your mom. She was so lovely when I meant her and nice. At least you guys kinda knew me from all the comments.
I like Christmas at SeaWorld better just because it's USUALLY less crowded. The day we went was a bit of an anomaly because it was Thanksgiving weekend. We're going again this Saturday as we have a media event to attend, and I expect it'll be very less busy. I don't think we went to SeaWorld at all during the summer because it's routinely busier. I know we met up with you briefly in September, but how were the crowds in general when you went?
@@SoCalDisneyDad one of the days was super busy. That was Labor Day. The last day I was there empty. And it was so nice.

Excited to see it all in person, the parade was also very small at summer. So not a big surprise there this one was so short as well.
I feel like the bubble show should have returned over the new kids sing along show.
It’s a solid event but I think the lack of fireworks and losing the sea lion holiday show are big head scratchers for me, considering how many parks are competing for your time and money during the holiday season
I hope the budget is increased next year
They actually had Clyde & Seamore’s holiday special for about two weeks last year and someone from PETA complained and it got returned to the current show mid season.

I was planning to go next weekend after a few days at Lego Land, but from your video this seems kinda lame? You just walked around, watched a few lane shows and ate some over priced food?
I mean, there are other things to do, like ride rides or go see some of their mainstay shows (Dolphin Adventures is really good). They have a lot of really nice indoor exhibits. But the actual Christmas event itself, yeah, not the greatest. The ambience is nice, but the first show was exceptionally lame. The second show is actually decent. It’s better in person. The camera doesn’t do it much justice. And if you don’t buy the lanyard, the food is DEFINITELY overpriced.

@@davidj7607 Yes, they have 3 shows. Dolphins, Orcas, and Sea Lions. Though the Sea Lion show has been dumbed down. And if it’s been 10+ years since your last visit, the Orca show has been dumbed down too. Maybe not “dumbed” but made less exciting. It’s more educational now with less stunts and tricks.
You shouldn’t be supporting this “park” nor teaching your kids it’s acceptable to have ocean animals living in bathtubs. Just sayin.
And you should probably research what SeaWorld actually is before accepting the common narrative.
SeaWorld is a rescue and rehabilitation program that always aims to return animals to their natural habitat, but sometimes that is not possible. And so animals are deeply cared for and develop strong emotional bonds with their caretakers.
The shows and performances are both playtime for the animals and a way to educate the audience about the beautiful creatures they’re entrusted to care for.
Maybe once SeaWorld was more heartless than they are now, but in the last 10 years they have made great strides toward improving the conditions of the animals that are no longer capable of returning to the wild.
