No it didn't go under 10
The best quarter mile I've seen for stock ZX9R when it was brand new was 10.28 in Cycle World comparison with Yamaha R1, Honda 954 and Suzuki GSX-R1000 in 2002.

@@dr.jiIIaIicecooper2587 Hello again bud, he is absolutely correct though, quicker than the ZX12r even, and that was the C model, heavier and a bit less powerful than this and my E1 ZX9r.

That 9 should be ~175mph as standard. Either that pipe has taken away the top end power or he's still in 5th gear 🤔

Die Anzeigen sind echt interessant. Wie genau habt ihr GPS gemessen und aufgezeichnet? Und dann einfach über die Videos drübergelegt? Und die Drehzahl über die Audio-Frequenz? Die Drehzahltachos sehen fotografiert aus, und der Zeiger ist dann digital eingearbeitet? Und dann auch noch alles synchronisieren.... :D Sieht auf jeden Fall nach sehr viel Arbeit aus ;)
Wie du schon richtig vermutet hast, ist es verdammt viel Arbeit 😅.... es war auch mehr ein Versuch. Du hast alles Schritte eigentlich genannt. Die GPS Daten stammen von der GoPro. Für weitere Videos haben wir uns aber gegen diese optische Aufarbeitung entschieden, da mehr Aufwand (wobei die andere nicht fotografierte Version auch ziemlich viel Zeit in Anspruch nimmt) und der Wiedererkennungswert bei gleichen Tachos besser ist :)

I was going 183mph and got a massive fuel cut with 2000 zx9r with just a pipe, even if someone says the speedometer is off idk what to say to them but somethings wrong with that rider or bike

I got my zx9r up to 170+ how’s this one barely hitting high 160s??
I would trust GPS more, in the 160s I’m sure this ZX9 is showing 170+ on the clocks.

SRAD is slow for its horsepower. Not very good aerodynamics. Still faster than this 600, but not by much.

Why always in 5th in the 600-er? its slower than in 6th although fewer revs because the max power is at about 13k rpm
Its true. Mine Gixx 600 K1 could go 272km/h on speedometer on 6th gear.

On a really good day, a gsxr 600 k1 will do about 260km/h.
ZX9R not set up properly if you're only getting 161mph from her. The acceleration appeared slow. She should be easlly reaching speeds up to 185mph.
The rev counter needle should be banging up and into that red line😂

On my phone the gps is 0.5 to 1 second late.
the gps from the GoPro is the fastest that we have tested so far. unfortunately it has to be synchronized with the video.
@@Knallgas I love how you managed to use the actual dials from the bikes too, very nice. I have to hide mine or I'll be arrested here in the UK. I just bought a nice 2000 E1 ZX9r too, love it!
Wie ist den die Suzuki gsxr 600er k1 k2 k3 so allgemein
Schönes robustes Teil. Wie alle 600er ab 220 kmh etwas Leistungsschwach, wenn es um Top Speed fahrten geht. Jedoch reicht sie auch dafür aus ;) ... sonst gut Händelbar.
@@Knallgas dann freut es mich so sehr mehr hab eine gsxr 600er k2 seid knapp 8 Monaten könnte aber bis her nicht fahren da ich mein Führerschein mache nur noch die praktische dann geht's los

2002 ZX9R?
2000 , so Pre-Facelift
Either the gsxr rider is 300 kg or the bike is running on 3 cylinders. Something not right.
It was doing the speeds it can do in those conditions, the ZX9r is capable of more too, up to at least 170mph, I just got one and 150 was easy.
A 600 gsxr up to 2012 is not as fast as a 2000 ZX-9R. It sounds like a sewing machine compared to the 600.

@@lajosnagy6356 that zx9 wasn’t that fast from that gsxr600r run a zx9 with a mid 2000 bike 600 or 750 will get smoked that’s why they stop making them same as the zx11 got smoked by the cbr900 that’s why they came out with the zx12 the zx9 still was close to the zx12 off take off but wasn’t enough for the Hayabusa now they have a zx14 that get smoked by a 1000cc bmw1000cc now they have the h2 with a supercharger lol history when you have on motorcycles you will be able to understand that zx9 is slow as fuck it’s like a 600 with boost
