They added allot of extra unnecessary steps & there music sucks!!! If ANY S18 owners ever have there wheel stop working/charging I have potential solutions!!! Simply disconnect all 4 battery's & well there disconnected push the power button a few times then hold it down for a few seconds to discharge the motherboard wait 30 seconds to reconnect the battery's. In mycase doing that resolved my wheel's issues!
@@cliftonmassey3143 - Hello, I need help with my KS S-18 and I would greatly appreciate it if you could please give me a hint. My X-18 overheated after 10 minutes standing idle on its base; then it beeped a few times and went off (It is death!). The underside of the cover next to the stop lights felt hot to the touch. Being a complete novice as I am; that is all I know, and I do not have access to any repairs shop! Could it be that a fuse blew? And if so, where exactly is the fuse that I should look for in order to replace it?
@@jmerlo4119 it sounds like something might be shorting out or has a faulty connection, I would inspect the area where is was hot then the battery connections & borad. If nothing is visibly faulty then test the battery's then the borad. I'm unsure if kingsong uses fuses but I would still check. Disconnectng the battery's & pressing the power button 3 or 4 times should discharge the capacitors & any voltage in the board & that should reset the board.
@@cliftonmassey3143 - Thanks a lot. I've tried all those possibilities with no luck. There is definitely no fuses anywhere. One of the six entry points to the board is a bit brown. I was sent a guarantee board but it got lost in the USPS. Eventually I bought a new board, which will hopefully arrive some time soon and I will donate my S18 to charity. I got fed-up and done-with King Song's inefficiency and bad design. The fact that they can not produce even a well made and thorough printed manual is insulting and their stupid videos stink. Therefore, I am back to the good old motorcycles. Lol
Blood (no glory without guts).) I'm writing this even though it might make people laugh at me and wonder if I know what I'm doing. I was replacing the circuit board on the S18. While waiting for the silicone thermal glue to come from AZ, I successfully put it back together and decided to give it a try before I put all the securing screws in. I knew I would have to take them all out again to add the thermal glue, so I decided to do a quick test outside in the driveway in case there was a problem. I held the trolley handle and pushed the start button. Suddenly, the S18 started terribly chattering and jumping all around. It whipped around and cut my right hand, and then it fell over and stopped. I think there's a sensor that turns it off when it falls on its side. My guess is that the small wires that connect the hall sensors came out of its socket underneath the board, which is why it acted up. Cathy helped me with the bandages, and then I disconnected all the batteries and screwed the circuit board down. I made sure that the four wires to the Hall sensor or properly plugged in. I hooked up only one battery, took it outside, turned it on, and it worked perfectly! I have unplugged it now and I'm waiting for the thermal transfer glue. I paid about six dollars to get here tomorrow instead of a buck or two for next month. So far things are looking good. I am in electromechanical and I kind of enjoy the challenge so now you can stop laughing.
Engineers need to understand that to sell this very unique product to they need to change the way the product is assembled. The next step in the evolution of electric unicycles needs to be quick access we need to be able to get in there and change a flat tire on the go change batteries on the go swap motherboards on the go without need dissembling the whole thing. All this great companies need to start moving away from this.
Danger: at 5:09 you pushed the start button to drain the capacitors but you did not show disconnecting the other two batteries. When I did this It started running on the stand and burning rubber!
Its kinda ridiculous when it could just be afew screws to hold a cover over the motherboard, then disconnect cables at the motherboard then unscrew them the motherboard and replace. It is generally a item people have to self service.
less than one years old my wheel already board issue. wheel keep vibration. the board wait more than one month plus also not arrive yet. got tutorial also no use
I’m really glad Kingsong is sharing these videos but I really hope I never have to do this, lol
Why not? Looks like a straight forward process. I love the idea that we can replace everything. This way you can ride your s18 for generations.

I feel like I should be sipping a cocktail while watching this.
In a robe beside the pool.
Was it as good for you as it was for me?
Hmm who wins in the "Most Tedious to Disassemble and Reassemble" wars with the V11? It looks neck and neck!
I like how they crushed the Motherboard underneath the wheel at 7:45

Thank you. Is there a fuse on tis wheel?
Hi can you show video of tyre change, as there is no video of this anywhere ? thank you.
Kingsong app not having speed options for ks x1... please add for 20 kph limt speed options

Good point, but I think they unplugged the other two batteries around 3:10 and 4:05.
Is there a reset button on the main board? Also where is the serial number located on the main board?
can that rim be used on a C30 motor?
Can you replace just the charging port? Thats my only issue.

why they made it opened design.. if you so impressed to see whats inside, make transparent, but closed euc, to prevent water ingress
Please more active on messanger facook! And mails!

I replaced my motherboard and it won't turn on. Why would this be so?
Kingsong is cheap and you can tell wow
🤮 very bad device. The most difficult thing to maintain. Buy s19 and you won’t have any problems.
